I've been running 3 crews this week instead of one. I'm thoroughly exhausted mentally and physically. My patience has been tried a few times, and we got a lot of work done too. *dies*
I got a 64 gig Zune HD this week. So far... I'm loving it. I didn't pick it up for games, apps, or any of that shit, just music and the occasional movie. I am diggin' my meowth butt-shot unlock screen wallpaper :D.
Anyway, eyes fuzzy, watering, burning. Body going limp...bed calls...
PS - ... penetration picture this weekend. .. maybe, I always chicken out and do cheesecake!

Cataclysm Beta
Posted 15 years agoMeh, I'm never really excited about getting into Beta's. They're riddled with problems, you're usually repeating some complaint that another person has already reported 100 times. I always feel it's some kind of advertising scheme.
So far so good I guess, They've implemented a storyline (audible gasp). Though I can't say I've really been reading it, I still want to be surprised when it comes out right?
I played a worgen for a little while. I hit /silly for a few minutes, and finally a gem comes up that has the worgen saying 'are you into...furries?'. Oh lord.
Please give worgen females the Caramelldansen dance. That would make me lol very much.
As a person who plays a warrior I find the changes very perplexing. They're going to end up patching most of the stuff they're doing I suppose even after they've rushed this bitch out to the market.
That's neither here nor there though, if we aren't all playing druids for explosive shrooms then we're a bunch of n00bs right?
Anywho, art this weekend I hope. Progress must be made to improve.

I was looking at the Starcraft 2 art book yesterday and saw that alien girl and in the back of my head thought 'I'd tap that...'.
You know which one I'm talking about. Shit like that makes me furry - but uh, yeah, I won't be checking myself for fleas or ticks soon ^_^.

A blurb about a dead hard drive
Posted 15 years agoSo the hard drive is completely dead.
I saved the gift art I've received (I love it, thank you guys :) ), and all of the .png files from my art folder. Lost where all of the wpe and wpb files. Those are open canvas saves and events.
Overall not a bad loss. I was able to rip all of my music and videos off of my ipod so I was safe there at least. I lost a lot of art I had saved from artists I admire and watch. Overall that's not bad either because I save like a fucking maniac.
Got a subscription to sexyfur.com. I'm going to try studying faces since I have read that some have problems with the way I do them. What can I say? Learning process, if my art hadn't evolved over the past few years I would have given up long ago, and I will continue to evolve.
Next week possibly, I will be offering up 1 commission. So keep your eyes open for that. Price will be discussed in that journal. I hope that at least one person is interested ^_^.
It was a great 4th of July weekend for me. I went to a baseball game on saturday (Everett Aquasox if you care), and we won in an 11 inning thriller 6-5. Following the game where excellent fireworks (like every year). Then yesterday I lit off fireworks with my family (bro, dad, mom) and while my Dad retired to bed, my Mom, my brother, and I all sat by the fire pit, drinking beer and shooting the shit.
My bro and I where out there until maybe 4 am. I had about 7 beers so I was thoroughly tanked (i'm a light weight :D).
The recent picture of Falt, Blue, and the coon girl has been well-received ^_^. I tried to change the eyes I draw just a tad bit to look less blocky (poor Qubilah, I thought she was gorgeous in the picture before, but her eyes are intensely rectangular).
Anywho, have a good week or month or however it takes me to repost a journal. <3

This turned out, nicely :D. I've kind of been letting some older characters go lately - while trying to revitalize the ones I like. Keese, Ellie, and Pitch are some of my very favorite characters.
I hope to keep them and improve them.
On another note, it seems one of my external hard drives is crapping out. This SUCKS as it's my most up to date drive and I never did get around to copying all the files off of it (fail). With any luck though I can take the HD out and either directly connect it (bypassing WD's failed internal circuitry) or get a device I can plug it in to transfer my files.
I have lots of music and art on the hard drive so hopefully luck is on my side.

Feeling better about things
Posted 15 years agoI don't know how describe the depression that I was going through. I know what caused it, or the conglomeration of things that caused it.
Feels like I work all the time, my love life is non-existent, and I feel like I can't go back to school right now which I really want to do. Some of these things are completely fixable by me. I don't fall into this pit of self-loathing very often anymore, because I have come to the conclusion that hating what I do is not as productive as changing them for the better.
Despite any care I may wish to give an issue that I'm dealing with, I constantly contradict myself by reasoning there is more than enough time to do what I need to do. Though I'm not that old, this does cause me to wonder what the hell I'm doing with my life, where my time has gone, and when I'm going to get my shit together.
The other part of this depression was caused by me getting my hopes up. When they where dashed (I believe unintentionally), I was fairly crushed by it. I don't like to open myself up too often to people, and I have to be really close to them to do it. When the affection isn't reciprocated similarly (and when it happens 2 times by 2 different people in a short span of time as it did) a person can doubt themselves or be overwhelmed by it.
To summarize: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA :_: my penis.

New Pen Nibs
Posted 15 years agoOrdered some new nibs for my aging intuos pen today.
I hope to upgrade to a new intuos in the near future, this baby has gone through its paces for nearly 10 years now.
This is actually the first time I've had to replace a nib too...which isn't to say it lasted long - it was actually a huge pain in the ass to get it the hell out of the pen since there was literally 'nothing' to grip.
Anywho this may or may not delay drawing. I still have a cintiq sitting on the desk that I'm really not used to using.
Back to MST3K volume XVII ^_^ ta~

Furry Fiesta 2010
Posted 15 years agoI'm back folks.
The giant metal tubes of death did not manage to kill me this time :).
I had a lot of fun at furry fiesta, there where high points and low points. The biggest low point is that I met a lot of people, and didn't meet a lot of people. The biggest high point is that I saw a ton of artists I've admired for years and got some artwork of my own done.
Overall I really did enjoy myself, with a bit of a modified schedule for where and how I'm getting to the con next year, I intend to go again for sure.

for just being a friend I could hang out with when he wasn't in the dealers den.

Next year I'm going to hang out with zebes in the dealers den I think, this year was kind of a special occasion because he was meeting up with Sasha so that they could get to know each other. It's a hard thing to do when you wanna hang out with your bro, but it's also important that your friends well-being is your concern as well. I know they had fun (WORST ALARM CLOCK EVER!!!!! FUCKERS).
Perhaps being around them next year will help ya'll to meet me too, I was just walking around casually most of the time, :). If you saw a guy with a green beanie on that said 'everett silvertips' it was me.
As my first con I was very nervous about what to expect. This really opened up my eyes to the value of these cons and the people who attend. So thanks everybody for making it an awesome con.

The giant metal tubes of death did not manage to kill me this time :).
I had a lot of fun at furry fiesta, there where high points and low points. The biggest low point is that I met a lot of people, and didn't meet a lot of people. The biggest high point is that I saw a ton of artists I've admired for years and got some artwork of my own done.
Overall I really did enjoy myself, with a bit of a modified schedule for where and how I'm getting to the con next year, I intend to go again for sure.

and skyler who I don't know the page for :3.Next year I'm going to hang out with zebes in the dealers den I think, this year was kind of a special occasion because he was meeting up with Sasha so that they could get to know each other. It's a hard thing to do when you wanna hang out with your bro, but it's also important that your friends well-being is your concern as well. I know they had fun (WORST ALARM CLOCK EVER!!!!! FUCKERS).
Perhaps being around them next year will help ya'll to meet me too, I was just walking around casually most of the time, :). If you saw a guy with a green beanie on that said 'everett silvertips' it was me.
As my first con I was very nervous about what to expect. This really opened up my eyes to the value of these cons and the people who attend. So thanks everybody for making it an awesome con.

I'm flying down for furry fiesta. If you hear about a plane going down because a fat guy panicked, stole all the parachutes, and tried jumping to saftey....it was me.
If I see you there, cool, I'm a little elusive and private - but I am friendly. This is my vacation so I'mma be relaxin like crazy with zebs, annie, sky, and Crys.
Hopefully I don't make an ass outta myself :D.
