I'm going to tell you that the Peanuts movie was amazing, and it was. It's not going to thrill everybody, because it's a sweet little flick that takes it's time to just tell a sweet little story.

This was like taking a warm bath for a long while, with a cup of cocoa and light music in the background. Pleasant, awesome, and faithful to the source material.

Fifi is cute..too cute...she has potential (horrible perverted laughter). I dunno, maybe I should do any picture next, since I'm being a slacker.

I have a 2 week vacation coming up over the thanksgiving week. Then I have another 2 weeks off in December (this is why you don't earn and burn your vacation kids).

Been a while since a game convinced me that I needed to play through it twice. I'd have done it in one sitting if not for responsibility.

Anyway. I know I do these rule 34/63's a bit lately. I have to say, it's not often that I think 'I would not do that to this character'. Mostly because any character I'm doing it to I don't have a real connection with. Undertale is just too precious to ever get that treatment from me. What a game. What an experience. I can say with certainty this will be the best soundtrack I hear all year.

Going to be removing all open canvas pictures from my gallery. If there's anything ya'll want to save from there, you have plenty of time. I'll be removing them in the next couple of days.

Trying to condense my gallery to be more focused on my own work. Still considering removing a few years of older art. Though I have to say, I do like looking at it. We've come a long way baby.

256 pictures have been filed under character folders. Roughly 1/3 of the gallery is done 470 or so more to go. Cheers.

Ya'll may have noticed I haven't put a commission journal up in a while. As the journal title says we're experiencing a little backup.

Been sick most of this week then there were family matters to attend to. The next couple of months suck as it's birthday after birthday for a while.

Toying with the idea of two character scenes for a bit if a higher price. Well see.

I just wanted to let ya'll know that I'm going to open them up again just as soon as I'm done with the second one I'm working on.

I know it's kind of a bummer to take them one at a time, however, I'd rather finish art than get a backlog of shit to do that I would ultimately end up not WANTING to do. That's what's driving me at the moment, I want to do these, and I enjoy them.

Extra money is always good. There is no sob-story here. I'm fully employed and it takes up a lot of my time. I do have a rather hefty dentist bill coming up (Don't get me started, I brush my teeth until my gums wear away, but my acid reflux is a constant thing I battle with).

I do realize that in the past I've talked about changing jobs and stuff, and that's still something I want to do. I just need to get my head right and fuckin' do it already (so this journal is now a mini-criticism about myself).

I sure hope you've enjoyed the rule 63 fan art. At least one person on a random website out there insists that I'm a closet homosexual for turning that beautiful bastard Wolf O'Donnell into a wet dream for any straight guy. To that I say 'meh!'. I go where I please, and I please where I go (for the most part).

Still learning a lot, but not enough. I like to think of this art thing as one of the few 'passions' I have. Really it's a deep well, and fulfilling in its own way on quite a few levels.

I would expect payment up front (via paypal) after negotiation of what the picture will be, not to worry though I will return your money if I don't finish the project in a good amount of time, or if you hate the results.

Just a small journal to mourn the loss of James Hardiman. I didn't really know him, so I'm not sure how he'd want people to take his passing. From the few journals I read - he was facing what was to come as bravely as possible.

James really was one of those guys who, some 17 years or so ago, really got me interested in drawing what I draw now. I was reading Redwall and fascinated with animal people, and then I started getting Genus and Furrlough and my fascination grew.

I don't want to say too much, but just a thank you for being one of the artists whos work is a joy just to look at. I find it inspiring, and I think I always will.

If you've noticed that art from me is slow it is because I haven't been submitting every little thing I've been doing. There are a few omitted pieces for the time being. I've kind of felt like I get better results if I fumble through a picture, leave it a few days, then look at it later with a more critical and less weary eye.

My personal life may end up being a lot more busy when I return. I'm itching to get out of my current job and spread my wings making more money some place else. I've been doing blue collar work since I was 17. I'm nearly 34 now. So lots of thinking and planning to do, and I can say I've probably made similar statements before, I have to make an effort to stop being a broken record and take action.

I'll continue to output art for the release it brings me.
