Been a while

I have been super busy with school the entire year 2024, but I decided to quit my current school for another one, so I'm free until the next scholar year.
However I'll be working a full time job so I have no clue how active I'll be, but I do want to make a few OC drawings. Been doing only 3D art lately I'm a bit tired of it

I've been reading Berserk again, and it's made me realize I'll never make anything nearly as good as that masterpiece with the characters and stories I've made so far. I have always inspired to make engaging stories that represent parts of me and explore that along with the readers. But I'm going nowhere, and I'm unhappy.
I want out of that artist algorithm loop. I'm tired of forcing myself to draw things I lost hope in, just to get attention. I don't feel like myself, and it's making me even more depressed.

I'm getting a resin printer soon so I'd like to open figure commissions at some point so I can save up for a car and other things.
You'd get the 3d model (with polypaint but no texture or rig) + a painted resin figure. It would cost 200-800$ depending on the complexity and size.
I'd also like to open sculpt commissions, with 3D busts for 70-80$ depending on complexity as well.

As to why I haven't posted any personal art, let's just say my mental health has never been worse, even in a decade of depression, this is probably my hardest times.
I have 2 commissions I absolutely need to finish before I can do anything else. I still post adopts while having to finish those commissions and I really apologize to the two clients waiting, as I have to pay weekly for bus and food.
I hope to finish these and get better soon so I can start those other projects.

Can't keep up with expenses due to less time to draw with school, so I need to sell all the old adopts and unused characters I have left.

This is by far the worse school start I ever had. I have to spend more every day for it (materials, softwares, insurances or whatever and bus tickets)
So all my savings are almost gone and I have a new problem which is this time my PC:
One of the ram sticks is dead for no reason. And I might have to get it cleaned, and get a new ssd as I am in 3d art course I will need more speed and space.

Thing is we always have projects everyday and the school is super far from my home (1h30 of walking, bus and tram) so I have to do 6:00 - 18:30 and come back absolutely destroyed.

I work on projects when I'm home and then go to sleep. I no longer have time for comms, and yet I need money to fix my stuff, so what should I do ?
Either I open a few custom design slots but I take way more time than usual (I always completed my comms within 2 weeks) or I do more adopts that will take as much time and will probably never sell or I'll have to spend 10h on them and end up discounting them to a 20$ price ?

I'm tired and I'm lost, if I didn't have health issues I'd get a small student job, but I can't.
On top of that, my audience will die within the next few weeks as I won't be able to post anything. At least the algorithm on twitter will make sure of that.

I guess at least, I'm not in danger like some other artists so I'm thankful for that.

Many of us here have Deviantart, and I'm sure you've heard the news (if you haven't, check this https://twitter.com/endwa1ker/statu.....36936508370944)

Since DA is a bs site, you literally can't mass delete deviations, but I found a little app for it that can help. It doesn't delete EVERYTHING at once, but it deletes like 100-50 per deletition, each one taking a minute or two.

I encourage you to share it so people can avoid desactivating accounts before deleting their art (no one is sure if desactivating an account fully deletes everything)

Had an encounter on discord with someone asking to commission a sketch page of Colossus (my own oc). I said sure, and gave them a discount as well.
Then they randomly told me it was to use him as roleplay and didn't even care to ask for my permission? I explained it's a no for that and they seemed to understand

Then later, they DMd me to ask for art advice, which I said something, and then they sent me a "WIP"...
But they just happened to have completly traced AND copied Colossus's old ref and didn't even ask for permission so..

If you see a character using the same base and that looks like a copy of Colossus (same armor patterns and light patterns) then please let me know about it I would really appreciate.
