General | Posted 9 years agoSo yeah, over the last 2 months I've been working a buttfuck ton at work. I've been socking away like...anywhere from 32-40 hours each week. Apparently cuz the whole Obamacare rules are still in effect work said "ohhhh nonono we cannot have this!" and promptly scheduled me down to 18 hours this week and 23 hours next week. SOOO top that off with a fairly unreliable roommate who doesn't think she can ever pay rent and bills on time. HUZZAH. :P Just means I'm gonna have to penny pinch again and slide by with what I got. Joyous. :) Happy New Year everybody! XD
Felix's Suicide Likely Caused by Prednisone
General | Posted 9 years agoOkay so I'm going out on a serious limb here but I've been doing some research and thinking a lot of about 
felixpath's suicide and came to a very shocking revelation: I think the Prednisone he was subscribed caused his suicide.
I've been reading on a LOT of personal stories about using Prednisone and a bunch of them, namely these two:

and they all state emotional changes and issues including depression and suicidal thoughts. THEN I went back and read Felix's past journals and LOW AND BEHOLD On his Oct. 2nd journal update he states:
"I'm not sure if curing this will be easy after so long. The ENT doctor gave me a full course of antibiotics and Prednisone. They did absolutely nothing. No improvement. I need to call the doctor tomorrow and try to find out what the next drug or treatment is. There are more powerful antibiotics out there, and there are surgical procedures. I'll settle for anything in order to feel well and normal again."
THAT IN ITSELF just made me cringe and shudder and yet well up with anger. Did they warn him about the risks and side effects of depression!? I don't know and can't say for sure but it's a pretty solid link that it's quite possible this drug to make him feel better ended up costing us all a dear friend. SO if you know anyone who uses PREDNISONE please let them know the risks, or keep an eye on them or ANYTHING!

Christmas Part Deux to New Years

As for gifts well I'm not getting family anything after the nonsense last year so I'm not really expecting anything. A wishlist? Eh, not really. General | Posted 9 years agoSo like...yeah I did get a 3DS and I did get Pokemon Sun but work has been a ZOO as of the last 3 weeks+. I've had 40 hours now the last 3 and it's really taking its toll on me. Added in the fact that my muse and mood has been really down lately due to well...some things that were going on a while ago too and it's hard to focus on art. I'm HOPING to knock away some patreon stuff this weekend but yeah, commissions will remain closed. ^^; Please if you want art from me why not consider buying from someone else? :)

Life Updates and more Felix thoughts
General | Posted 9 years agoSo for those of you who didn't hear or just didn't notice my ex mate and good friend felixpath had committed suicide last week Wednesday. The shock really hit hard and fast and knocked me for a loop, causing me to take a day off work. Many tears were shed and I still have a hard time believing it's real. I miss him lots and feel so much for 
destrega and Felix's parents. I pray Felix is in no more pain now and his mind is clear. Fly high Felix.
So due to that and my mom, bro, sis in law, and lil nephew visiting I haven't had much time to draw, toppled with many extra hours at work this week. I shall do my best to get back in the swing of things asap! I owe a wee bit of art and have a few sketched out so I'll be a busy butt when I get freetime!
WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY IS FUCKING ADORABLE AND EVERYONE SHOULD BUY IT. Seriously, it's real great fun ^.^ Cute to the max. :D It's out on PS4 for sure, which if you wanna add me it's Kritterfox on PSN, there's a multiplayer feature I guess but I've not gotten too far yet to figure it out! ;)

Roommate is partially moved in! She's a local friend of a friend who needed a place to stay. it may only last for 6-7 months but that extra financial ease will really help! :) She's not a furry but big into anime and knows of furry so I won't have to hide my art AS much. ;) Which is always good to make life easy!
Also been playing FF7 on steam again! :) I just killed the Midgar Zolom and learned Beta at level 16! Wanna know how? Use Tranquilizers to induce Sadness status on everyone. Give one person the Enemy Skill Materia and Elemental>Fire combo in their armor, as well as the Talisman. Stick 'em all in the back row and give the other two characters Quake, Bio, and Choco/Mog! Now the other two should use those 3 spells while the 3rd person with E. Skill doesn't do anything. When one of the party members is ejected then keep hitting til Beta pops up! It should only do about 300 HP damage or so, so toss out a quick Hi Potion just to be safe and pummel the Zolom with one or two Betas til it's dead! BAM! You win AND got a severely OP high MP spell for that point in the game! :D (Srsly, most spells/attacks at best can do 200-300 HP and Beta can easily do over 1200!) ^_^ You're welcome!

General | Posted 9 years agoSo to sum it up, my planned roommate cannot move in with me due to an Army Reserves rule of being so many hours from their unit. I am literally 45 minutes too far out for them. :/ So alas I don't have a roommate again...kinda sucks I was looking forward to it!

My second spin on the night and I won that. XD My luck sometimes wtf lol. I put some in savings, some left in checking and am gonna calculate out my next payday. If I can sock away enough I can pay off my entire card. :D No more debt and life resumes in the green...god that would be so niiiice~ ^__^

~NEW ROOMMATE~
Yep yep! My apartment will not be so quiet for much longer, as I'll have my niece moving in with me in September. She wants to get on their feet and out of my sis' house of hell and really I don't blame her. XD It will help ME get ahead and start surviving easier too which is awesome. :3 She unfortunately doesn't really know about furry stuff so I'll have to either explain it to her and will only be able to draw on my quiet free days. :/ Kinda a bummer but at the same time I need the financial break!

I haven't been drawing much at all due to heat, video games, and work. XD Tis hard to sit and focus when I'm sweaty in my apartment, I've been playing a mix of borderlands 2 on PS4 and skyrim on PC, and then work has me on a new schedule that I'm not used to yet. So yeah do owe a few things, but I'm thinking I need to draw s'more for me too! ^.^ So when I get an itch I'll do so. :D
~OTHER~
Disc golf/frisbee golf is so much fun, I try to go a few times a week when my buddies have freetime! ^_^ I have definitely mastered my disc and how it's thrown so it might be time to start trying some new ones! :D ^.^ We'll see. :D Been doing a lil better on financial stuff tho things are still tight I'm gonna have an extra check this month so yay for that! :D May even try to snag more work hours to pack away more $$$! Health is okay, tho I tweak muscles and limbs here n there I'm just fighting through any pain. :D Need a snuggle and kink buddy bad locally, but that's just me. ^.^ OKIE thas it bai~ :D
