Bringing Back Shinies
General | Posted 6 years agoSo I've not heard any super horror stories about it, so I will reactivate shinies again. Some of it is kinda because of the medical bills that will be accumulated soon, and to try and feel a lil better about my art and such. You guys are super kind and awesome and I appreciate it all the time. :3
Step One
General | Posted 6 years agoSo I got checked out, high blood pessure is the big concern. They wanna bring me back in for a physical and blood work in a few weeks, so I gotta start taking better care of myself. The tingles and other issues may be stemmed from that, but it could also be early stages of carpal tunnel. I gotta go get one of those splints/braces to wear at night when I sleep, and do a lil wrist and arm exercises too. It's a start, now I know what I need to take care of!

Going in for a Checkup Tomorrow
General | Posted 6 years agoSo just wanted to give you guys an FYI I'm going into the clinic tomorrow to get checked out. I've been fighting some weird ass feelings and stuff and of course by checking things out online, you see many MANY scary things and words and truthfully I've been on edge. So I'm going in to get some work done, see what actually is going on and then go from there. I'll keep you guys informed but just keep me in the best thoughts and wishes and prayers please. Thank you :3

General | Posted 6 years agoSo I spent most of the weekend at my friend's place, he was having horrid stomache pain since the 4th. Well turns out he had accute appendicitis and went under for surgery. So spent the weekend over there kinda keeping him company and also just lifting his spirits and helping whereever I could. :)
THO on the flipside they bought Mario Maker 2 (for fans of the first it's very worth, great for newbs too!) and I fucked around on some levels under a friend's name. :3

Also got a few commissions that I'm working on so as always thanks for those who have interest and such! Vacation!
General | Posted 6 years agoWell it's here, my lil almost a week off to go up north, see family, celebrate a babyshower and a 21st birthday and to see my aunt from Colorado who'll be visiting. Was gonna leave today but it bumped to tomorrow morning. IT's all good tho it's a free ride so I'm not complanin ;)
So obviously won't see new art from me for a week and might not hear from me so you guys know why. ;) When I get home I may welcome some commissions, as I could probably use the money to make up for the work I took off. XD lol. Of course sometimes I have real good luck on these trips and come home with more cash than I went with! :D

General | Posted 6 years agoYeah I pulled the plug on that, when I saw it said furaffinity in the transaction the last thing I want to do is kill my method for taking commissions cuz of a random donation thing. X_X IF you really wanna gift me it's better to just ask for my paypal addy directly :3

Post Trip Update
General | Posted 7 years agoIt was an...okay trip. Plans fell through pretty hard, lots of drama with mom's roommate/tenant situation and birthday was overshadowed by niece's apartment warming/baby talk. (yeah I'm gonna be a Great Uncle). Soooo it was kinda a bummer but a nice break from work was good and just kinda nice to see mom and family as lil as I did. Oh well
Thanks to those who gave me birthday wishes. Got a lovely piece from my gf which is <3. Otherwise family did the usual "too broke to give gifts" stuff so bleeeeeh. Tis my life. :P
Will hopefully keep up the drawing momentum and stay good there but yeah. Love ya all!

Up and Coming Plans!
General | Posted 7 years agoSo with the birthday approaching I took some time off from work to go visit the fam. ^_^ Gonna head north from the 6th to the 12th if the weather permits for smooth travel days. :3 If I'm not around during those days just realize I prob won't bring my own lappy up there and will take a lil hiatus! But know that you guys over the last few years have made my birthday amazing and I appreciate all the kindness and well-wishes you guys give me year in and out. :3 Hard to think I'll be turning 35 on the 9th this year! Yeeesssshh! :3
BTW I've been continuing drawing here n there even tho I've been working a lot more hours than usual! Gotta keep my creative juices flowing as best as I can. :3 I'll do my best to keep sketching and doodling and not let my juices dry up, not to mention you guys gave some good input on things to draw too! That being said commissions are welcome albeit they may take a good while to get to depending on work weeks and so on and so forth. :3 Just a heads up. I did update the price list a lil bit in my commission tab if you were at all interested. :3

State of the Fox
General | Posted 7 years agoSo it's that time of year again, the busy retail season when everyone works harder in hopes to have something to show for it! I've been a busy body myself, working more hours with a co-worker going out for surgery. It's not been horrid really, I like having more hours and income! It's padding my paycheck. :D The flipside is I've been having to work mostly 6 AM shifts so on top of my Wednesday 3 AMer I've been hitting the hay early. It is what it is but it tends to keep me uninspired art-wise. That and I have a new laptop! Friend sold me his Asus Republic of Gaming machine that's a lil less than a year old for 700 so I've been futzing around with Steam again. Huzzah! My current diddy is wrapping up Secret of Mana gettin all the achievements. xD
Christmas is gonna be an interesting one. I don't work Christmas day but I'll have to get to bed at 5 (or earlier) to wake up super early as the day after is the dreaded Wednesday. xD Boss was talking about even considering going in earlier than usual cuz the store is closed! Mayhaps get the tagwork done before 6 when we reopen and call it a day. :3 No family visit or anything sorted alas. Dunno if I'll have the budget to do much of anything either...awe well!

General | Posted 7 years agoLove happens. ^_^ So back on the 18th I was having a nice lil chat with a good pal online and we were just randomly talking and she came out and told me she had feelings for me and liked me and I was just kinda floored. I wouldn't have suspected it and well yeah. :D It kinda finally set in and well yuuuss! <3 Some of you mud buds might know her already, a one certain

I hate to do this but this person has owed me a commission for over 4 years, and every step of the way I've gotten an excuse after another. So I'm just giving everyone a warning. DO NOT COMMISSION THIS PERSON. As much as I've enjoyed the past artwork I have received this person refused to show me any progress on the last commission batch I got. Every excuse in the book was used: (I can't find it, it needs to be scanned, just need to photo edit and clean it up, my family lost it).
I offered them the ability to resketch me something just to make up the difference. Nothing. THey have taken and posted many other commissions in the past and even recently.
They currently are homeless and tho I feel for them they keep taking commissions and completing them to "have some money to live on".
Do yourself a favor and just do not take a risk. I can point you in far more professional artist's way who keep in contact and stay professional about it. Thank you for your time and reading.
