I was gonna get an early night tonight, but a couple things cropped up through Facebook with some people I went to high school with, and hung out with semi-recently, and with some people I don't even know? Spoken to maybe once or twice...?
And I just... I'm SOOOOO done with like.. 90% of people on planet earth.

I'm done with the hypocrisy and the attention seeking of everything.


Literally this last month has just been person after person coming to me saying that they're sad, or that relationships (Family, friends, not just intimate) aren't "real" anymore because of technology and social media, or that they're severely depressed, talking about death, and wanting to see their own insides, suicidal and shit.
And this isn't just from people I know.
It's from people I don't know too.
People who I have almost no connection with.
People that, in the nicest way possible, I can't help.


I just...

I'm at the point where I feel the need to say, that if you don't want HELP with something, you just want to be sad AT someone? Just want to wallow in it??
Don't come to me.

It sounds harsh, but it is exhausting to be around someone who is sad and depressed and doesn't want help, just wants to wallow in that sadness.
I'll give you the tools to help yourself, but I'm not just going to sit there and have people spout sad, depressing things at me.

It honestly ruins my day, sometimes my whole month in this case with the sheer amount of people coming to me.



I've BEEN depressed, I've BEEN sad, back in highschool/college I was having the shittiest fucking time.
And for the longest time I was like "wow, all my friends were shit, they just left me when I was going through this thing", and maybe a week or two, maybe three ago, when I was trying to deal with someone being insanely depressed, who I didn't know, I just had this epiphany about my own shit in the past. *I* was the problem.

They left because I was hard to be around.
It wasn't until I re-thought how I was, who I was, and changed how I saw myself, and sought change, and BECAME happy, focused on myself and my happiness, that I realized what was going down.

And just...
I can't help you unless you want to help yourself, and it's not fair to load all of your issues onto someone you don't even know on a personal level.

And if I DO know you on a personal level, I will do my absolute best to help you, but if you don't want to accept the help?
Then I'm done.
Like, I will try SO fucking hard, but if it gets to a point where you're affecting *my* mental health? I'm sorry, I can't let myself be around that.

I don't know why, or what's going on, but I am just NOT having a good time of it lately.
Like.. I'm really anxious about sending out commissions lately, like I'm not good enough?
Which is insane because JUST the other day I looked back at me old stuff, and I could SEE how far I've come in such a short while.

And I don't even know.. I just.. No matter what I do I'm almost scared to post or send progress images because I'm sacred people won't like it, or I'm scared it won't be good enough, and I'm spending longer than i'd like to doing stuff, because I'm doing something, then completely scrapping it, just because... I don't even know. Reasons?


It just feels like anything I do today, is shit.
Even though in reality it's probably not.

And the past few days I've just had the really melancholy feeling, that just won't fucking go away.
And I just want it to go away, so I can get back to how I was feeling last week, ready and raring to go, wanting to do ALL the things, and do ALL the arts.

And it's not even art-block. Because I *can* draw, it's just taking me longer.

I don't even know what's happening, I just want it to stop. :L

And whilst I don't mind it provided credit is given, as it's "exposure", I still don't particularly like it.



The reason I'm making this journal, is one of my painted pieces was posted to E621, or used should I say as a profile image for a user....
And this piece was for an up and coming youtube friend who's building up his business, and is known for it in the gay community locally here....

I've filed a take down on his behalf, but I don't know how long this has been up. I don't know if this will have affected his business, or if pure association will affect his business. And as a whole right now, I feel fucking awful and as if this is all my fault.

He's genuinely considering legal action, because depending on how this works out, he's saying he'll need to commission entirely new art pieces, and he has no clue if this will have had an impact on perception or any of that jazz.



As well as this, on a seperate note, for some reason people are posting my art of my sona, Marceline to this site.

And again, whilst I don't mind it for exposure, I still don't like it. And will probably be filing takedowns on every re-posted Marceline piece, as not only is it my personal art, but it's my personal character.



And this is where people will tell me "Oh if you don't want it stolen or re-uploaded, don't post it".
And I'm sorry, but that's not how it works.... :/

And ONT TOP of that, there have been collabs I've worked on get re-posted to the site, and credit hasn't been given to the other artist (SkyeHusky in this case).
And honestly I'm just finding that in itself really rude....



I dunno. Maybe I'm overreacting, let me know if I am.
I just.. I'm aggravated, and stressed.

I shouldn't have to be scared to post art because "o no wot if it gets tha stole" "plz don do me a steal".

I don't even know if like.. I need to do this? But I just wanted to say to your guys that I'm sorry my base price for sketches is a teeensy bit higher than your average artist.

Sketches are the most time consuming part of drawing for me, lining, flat colours, and shading I find relatively easy to do on a pretty fast turn around. But sketches eat up a lot of my time - So to make up for that I made the base line for sketches a bit higher than your average person's, but then I made increments to get something lined, coloured, or shaded cheaper than your average artist :3


(Example for a simplistic character)
So for example a general person might do bust sketches for $10, and to get it coloured they'd ask for another $10 - and the total would be $20

Whereas for me, I'd do a bust sketch for like.. $15, and to get it coloured, that'd be another $5 - and the total would be $20.

So you're paying the same amount, just in different places..... If that makes sense?

I dunno, It's probably dumb. but I just felt like I needed to explain?
I've not had complaints or anything, I just feel like maybe it's something people notice and don't comment on?

My Facebook feed has just been SWAMPED with people moaning about Valentine's day today and it's been oddly exhausting?

- People who're desperate to be in relationships.

- People who see others relationships and get salty saying "Well their relationship obviously isn't great if they have to post about it online"

- People bitching and getting irrationally angry just because it's a consumerist holiday

Literally just a WHOLE lot of negativity, and hate, and saltiness.
Like.. Why?
What's the point?
And why do relationships have to be the be all and end all of your life?
You can be perfectly happy without one, it's not life or death.

Today's just honestly felt like... I don't even know how to describe it, but it's put me in a really bad mood like ;u;

Even when *I* was single, I don't think I ever came out with the stuff people are now x-x

I'm being dumb, this is SUCH a non-issue - but for some reason it's bothering me :')
I did a search of my name and some image searches of my art, and they're all properly credited. So I'm chill with that.
But the re-posts of Marceline are ALL tagged as "bunny" or "rabbit".

My main character, Marceline.
She. Is. Not. A. Bunny.

I'm still undecided on what she is, but she's not a bunny :')

Literally the only thing about her that's bunny-ish, is her nose. And goats tend to have that kind of nose when drawn too. So blah.


Her muzzle is feline, her nose is goat/bunny, her ears are God only knows what(floppy doesn't mean bunny ;n;) , her teeth are pointy carnivore toofers, her tongue is pointy and somewhat long, her sclera are black with glowing main eyes, and her tail is a corgi nub.

I don't know what she is, but for some dumb reason to me it's important that she's NOT a bunny :')
