I'm so bloody exhausted my dudes. 

Yesterday after the move and unpacking like.. half my shit I ended up just passing out Ahah, Spent pretty much all of today unpacking and organising too. And I THINK I'm finally done, thank fuck.



I've been reeeallly antsy to get back to work, so I'll be getting to that in the next hour or so, I just need a moment to catch my breath - But YEAH!

!!!!! AWAY TILL 31/05/2018 !!!!!

GUYS!
I'm FAIRLY sure I've mentioned this before, but I just want to remind commissioners that from tomorrow (The 26th) until Wednesday (The 31st), I will be away in Ireland visiting family and taking a very much needed mini-break.

After three house moves, the end of a four year long relationship, and the shitty return of my anxiety/depression, I just REALLY need this time away.

I'll be back to work FULL FORCE when I return though!!!

I'll be entirely AFK until I'm back on home soil!
So I won't be able to read, or reply to notes unfortunately!!

I try so hard to never let my personal life effect my professional life, but I'm really struggling today - I don't want to talk about it, because going through giving the whole context just dregs it all back up again, and it just hurts.



A few of you who have me on Twitter have a vague notion of what's going on, but yeah. So if you are curious, check Twitter. But I'm not in a talky mood today.



I'm really struggling to maintain professionalism, and a friendly working environment for my clients today, and I'd much rather take the day to try and get over this hurdle, than run headfirst into it and fly arse over tit trying to overcompensate, and come out the other end having a load of you think I'm an asshole.



I'm not, or at least I don't think I am. 

I'm just really struggling today, and everything I do where I'm plastering on this "persona" of who I used to be 5 days ago before shit hit the fan... I just feel like I'm lying to myself and to everyone around me, and I'm just really hurting, and I need 24 hours just to get myself functioning again.

Need music recommendations

Heya dorks, I need music recommendations. Specifically actual songs, not just artists.
I've been uhm.. Broken up with?? Temporarily? With the goal of getting back together later???

It's a break, but "officially" we're broken up.. but no one's changed their relationship thing yet... So.. I don't know :')

But I want to listen to music, and I can't because everything is about love, or breakups, and makes me cry. So... Like...

YEAH.

I like Jazz, I like MCR, P!atd, Paramore, Linkin Park etc etc.

So yeah. rec's would be lovely :')

Because I'm hurting and I'm sick of everything I listen to making me feel worse.

The Struggle You're Never Told About.

Feelance work always seems amazing, and for the most part, it is.



But no one ever tells you about how hard it can be to keep your sleep pattern in check, or just how little social interaction you'll have.

How super reliant you'll become on social media.

How work friends is a thing you'll likely just not have.

How hard it is to have and keep a routine, and how the lack of one KILLS your motivation and self esteem.





Well, I've recently hit that.



Ever since I became ill over Christmas, where my living situation turned shitty - I've struggled to get back into a pattern. I'm waking up between 4-7 pm most days, and staying up till 7pm, or sometimes until the next night.



It's shit.



I don't see anyone, I don't have irl friends really, or anyone local I can pop over and see - and honestly my motivation to even leave the house has just.. GONE.







SO IVE COME UP WITH A PLAN.



I'm making a discord server.

For other freelancer's who are also in this slump.

A server where we can just be online, and chat to one another over mic - Get them social skills back up, get back to feeling like you're not alone, encourage and push each other to work to a proper schedule, help eachothers self esteem, force eachother to go out for a walk, or to eat a proper meal, or drink some damn water, remember to save, take a ten minute break away from the computer, STRETCH for god sake.

Heya guys, after I get remaining initial sketches done for everyone, I need to then wait on replies/confirmation/requested changes before continuing - during that down time, I have nothing to do.

Moving 3 times in the past 6 months has been EXHAUSTING and honestly SUCH a drain, it's no excuse, I know - But I'm just so stressed and exhausted, and working myself up trying to get this queue done with, it's taken it's toll and it's made me super slow - WAY slower than I ever wanted to be for you guys. 



I'm not taking any more commissions until this queue is DONE WITH COMPLETELY. 



I don't have my April rent yet, It's not due until the 24th though - So I have time, just the deadline is making me hyper stressed about completing the queue. As you'd expect.

Heya, SO I HAVE A QUESTION.



How do you make the values of a piece work, and maintain a "pleasing look" to the eye - with character's with high contrast colours/markings?

Low contrast is easy, because you can just add harsher shades/lights etc



I understand the concept of values that the place you want to draw the eyes needs the most contrast - but I struggle to get that to work in YCH's or commissions where a character's Palette/Markings are high contrast in varying areas - If that makes sense?



Any help would be amazing! :D

-SIGHHHHHH-

So I havent' been able to stream for like.. 3 months - because moving, then moving, then 2 year old nephew and shit internet and "desk" set up - if you can call it that. Then moving again.





Finally set up to stream today, annnnnnnd~



Deadlock.



Far as I can tell, there's no easy fix so I've managed to find someone to come over and try and fix it for me this weekend - but no garuntees.





Until then, work will be slow - as I'll be on my laptop. and streams will be like... None.. Tbf...





As of right now, I'm trying to catch up on all the fucking work I lost earlier when I deadlocked again.. So.. Yeah.





I'm grumpy asf.

Heya guys! 

So I've had a few people note me yesterday and today asking for updates etc - TOTALLY fine, if anything I encourage you to do so!





But just please do bare in mind, that there *is* a queue.

I have a Trello set up so that everyone can see where they are, and when they'll be getting worked on ~ So Please do check it before noting me if at all possible!

I don't mind the notes, but I've been having to essentially write out the same notes explaining this to a few people today, and it does take up some of my time that could otherwise be spent working on my queue.



Again, if you have any concerns, queries, worries, or if I'm taking too long for you and you want a refund, PLEASE note me and I'll be more than happy to talk to you about anything, or issue a refund if that's what you'd prefer! :)









I do commissions in the order in which they are placed, and as fast as commissioner "confirmations" allow me to, and if one commission takes longer due to slow response times or changes or tweaks - unfortunately that does mean delays for the rest of you whilst I try and focus on the commissioner I'm currently working on.



Unfortunately this just can't be helped. 



HOWEVER, this same care and attention is given to EVERY SINGLE ONE of my commissioners.

So as and when I get to you, I will keep working until you are happy with it before moving on to the next person.







As it stands, I believe I'm at a point now where after the top person in my queue is completed, I can spend the rest of the night/tomorrow morning working on EVERYBODY'S sketches at once ~

Though again, please bare in mind, I only have one hand ;u;



I understand a lot of people have had negative experiences with artists in the past, but I promise you - I will not be leaving ANYBODY high and dry without their art. 

I plan on sticking around here for a long time. This is my only source of income, and I do NOT plan on throwing everything I've worked so hard for away for any reason whatsoever!

I understand the anxiety and the worry, I really really do - I've commissioned people twice in my lifetime and both times got run out on~ I really do understand, but please don't worry about me, I do have a lot going on - But I REFUSE to ever leave anyone without their finished product!

Heya guys!

So I'm in a bit of a dire/emergency situation in regards to living at the moment.



I've FINALLY found somewhere I can move to, It's a room in a shared house - £430 a month.

However, when I move in, I need to put down two months rent. One lot for my first month, and one lot for my last month. So essentially when I move out, I don't have to pay the last months rent.



So with rent as £430, x2 = £860

But then I'll need food for the month and other expenses for the actual move, so I've estimated it to go up to £900, though honestly I can only assume it'll be more than that.



Then ON TOP of that, I have to pay for one last month of storage, which was £73.50

THEN, I have to pay my rent here, staying with my boyfriend's brother; Which is £300.



SO BASICALLY, I need to somehow scrape together £1,273.50..........









TL;DR, 

Emergency Commissions are open.
