If I made a lace frames and borders pack, would you guys prefer it as a Patreon reward with consistent future updates and extras being added?
Or a one time purchase thing right here on FA?
You'd have a selection of simple, standard, and complex designs ^^
They could also translate onto lingerie etc for commissions, though they're being designed with reference sheets in mind~
One time purchase would have to be at *LEAST* $12 for it to be worth it, as it takes a LOT of time to make unique lace designs that look amazing and at a scale big enough for it to work with multiple sizes of work!

Heya guys, having a bit of trouble with my tablet - and I was just wondering if there's ANY brand of drawing tablet for PC that's wireless??
Preferably that doesn't have a screen that you directly draw onto?
Is that a thing??
If not, I really need tablet recommendations - I always get ones for like £40 - £70 on amazon, but I've had to replace them three times now, so I'm starting to think it'd be better to fork out for an actually good quality one, so any help or recommendations would be amazing! TY!!

This one's gonna be on a bit of a downer today I think, so sorry for that. Feel free to skip this one if you're not in an overly good mood as it is.
But, names.
As long as I can remember I've hated my birth name.
It's pretentious.
When people read it before speaking it, I always have to correct how it's pronounced.
It's spelled "french", so I always have to listen to this same tired shtick of " Oh, that's an unusual name!!"
It's said like a place in the UK, so I'm always having to say "Yeah, like the place"
I don't feel like it's "me", I really struggle to identify with it.
This past year I became estranged with my father, and I'd been seriously considering changing my surname - as I don't really want anything to do with that name anymore.
These holidays just gone, I've now had a major falling out with my mother - and after some serious soul searching and discussion with friends and the person I'm currently seeing - I really don't think it's productive to continue a relationship there either - For the sake of mental health if not anything else.
I made a list of pros and cons, and the Pro's list had about two or three things on it, all related to money - and the Con's side filled an entire sheet of paper, and mostly centred about how she makes me feel, and how she's constantly trying to buy my affections as an easy way around having to actually put in any work or effort, or even accept her mistakes and fucking apologise to me for the shit she pulled.
When I was younger I talked about a want to change my name, and both my mum and dad ridiculed and laughed at me for it, and ever since I've pushed those feelings down and felt ridiculous for even thinking about wanting to change my name.
I brought up wanting to change my name again over the holidays, just my last name - because my dad's done some shit I don't want clinging on to me. And my mum seemed supportive, before following up with "Don't you dare change your first name though, ever, I'd be really upset if you did" Pulling the old emotional manipulation bullshit she always does.
Then when the holidays went entirely tits up, and I had this long talk with my partner - I concluded it would be best for me not to have a relationship with either of my parents.
Then it dawned on me that the one BIG tie I have to them both, is my name.
First, middle and last.
And so I began toying with the idea of changing it.
Talked it out with the other half, talked it out with his parents, they both seemed really supportive and encouraging.
Talked about it with some old school friends, and honestly they haven't been supportive in the slightest and have just reinforced the whole "That's so stupid why tf would you want to do that. I'm not going to use your new name, You'll always be '_______ _______' to me!!"
Which obviously made me feel like total shit.
I feel like people are just laughing at me for even wanting to do this.
And I thought I'd found a name I really liked, and really fitted, but after talking to people and being made to feel shit about it, now I'm not sure if it DOES fit, and I just feel really silly and pathetic, and I'm really struggling - Because I don't identify with my current name, I'm not sure if the new name I've chosen works either, and if it turns out it doesn't, I'm back and square one, struggling to find anything that fits or works.
I just feel really lost, and I feel really alone now I know a relationship with my parents isn't possible, and I don't really know who I am now. I feel like I don't really have an identity.
And I just don't know what to do.

How long did it take?
How did you figure out what the fuck to do? :')
Literally been crying the entire time I've been typing this out :')

NOTE; Sorry if this seems a bit dramatic, I'm PMS-ing real hard and stressing over Christmas. But I just kinda need to get this off my chest, as situations like this have been happening to a LOT of artists around me lately.
If you don't like an artists style, or how they do things, or if you want something specific out of your commission - Maybe mention it before the commission process begins so the artist can bear in mind your preferences and note them down for when they arrive at you in the queue, or alternatively, find another artist to do the commission! ^^
ALWAAYYYS mention if you want specific things!! Artists can't magically read your mind! :)
there's nothing wrong with changing your mind after inquiring, and people won't be mad at you for it!
An artists gallery is a brilliant example of what that person draws, how they draw, style choices they make, etc etc! :)
Use the tools available to you to figure out if you genuinely want art from someone.
And please don't try and trick yourself into liking someone's art! For your own sake!
If you think you like the look of their art, but certain things they choose to do stylistically aren't your thing? You don't like their art.
If you want the most out of your money you should go to someone you love absolutely EVERY aspect of! ^^
Also, PLEASSSSEEE talk to your artists ;o;
If there's something you don't like that they've chosen to do, bring it up politely ;o;
Maybe drawing over the art they've done for you, or just flat out circling bits you don't like isn't the best first reaction, and likely won't make your artist feel like they want to make changes for you >.<
And I know for a fact it's super hurtful :')
If there's something wrong or missing that was on the reference sheet, obviously fair enough, point that out straight away and get it fixed, but when it comes to style choices... It just comes across as a bit rude, and like you never actually liked the person's art to begin with >.<;

I've fallen a wee bit behind on my queue, I'd aimed to have maybe one of two commissions left to do by this point, but a few things have come up irl which has meant my attention's had to be elsewhere.
On top of this, I've just had to send off to have my PC looked at, they said I should hear about getting it back in 4 to 5 working days, so I should have it back Friday if not before with any luck.
I just wanted to reassure everyone, that I've not forgotten about you, and if you've paid the invoice you will be getting your art before the 23rd of December guaranteed.
I understand that these were intended to be November slots, and so far no one's come to ask about their piece yet, but I just wanted to keep you guys in the loop, and just say that I can't apologise enough, It's not what I intended - and I hope to be better in the future.
It's no excused, but I've just moved for literally the sixth time this year, thankfully somewhere where the rent is very very low, so that means I won't have to take on as much or overload and stress over my work anymore. Which in the long run will mean more enjoyment for all parties, better quality, and overall just faster improvement (I hope!!)
At any rate, I sincerely apologise for the delay, and I hope to have something with you asap :)
EDIT; I say you'll have your piece by the 23rd December not because that's how long I plan to take, I plan to have them done before that date, however I will be away from the 23rd till the 27th of December this year, and just because I can't predict the future, I'd rather not have to take something I say back and have my commissioners/watchers feel lied to!
