If you don't know a character from this list then you should probably just not vote for them (all of them are literary characters, most were drawn). I would like everyone to vote though.

Sketch albums are Inkbun-exclusive now
Posted 7 years agoI'd like to give a heads-up that since I don't want to have to manage an FA-friendly version of the sketch albums, the sketch albums are only on Inkbun now, so you should go over there for them. There are some things that might be omitted from them anyways, because I'm getting into drawing more things that are at odds with both website's rules.
The rules here are terrible and I hope to god sometime this year or in the next 5 years we get an Internet Bill of Rights that puts an end to the administration's shenanigans. In the meantime, I've been looking for a place to post some non-furry lewds that allows me to have freedom with it.

Here's this, I don't have much to say about it. Also, as a heads-up, Myristica is being changed to a male.

This is another small-ish sketch album, because my work's been pretty split between writing, and some WIPs that haven't been getting places fast, but these ones have higher effort than the last which I'm feeling pretty good about.
Canella canonically gets shot in the face in this novel I've been working on, so now he is our bandage moe trope guy. Zachariah's been redesigned, because her being a 'mimi is better for her role in the story and I think it improves her design.
Also, I hope you had a happy Halloween.

Opinion Post Round 2
Posted 7 years agoI'm going to be thinking out loud again. Just like last time, none of these will be political opinions. Except I'd like to publicly share the news that I no longer participate in politics online. I don't like doing politics because it's boring and divisive, I hate staying away from people just because I think they're misguided in something completely unrelated to what I actually care about. From now on that isn't going to happen anymore, though I will still stay away from complete ideologues who live and breath politics, because I don't want to get caught up in it, but for the most part I won't care about your real-world political opinion. I encourage others to make this concession, because it's really what our community needs. Care less about political ideology and more about artistic ideology. I even made my Discord server apolitical, the politics room is gone so if that was turning anyone off of it, feel free to come there.
Anyhow, I'll start with
- I think there's pretty much nothing inherently babyish about diapers. The idea that "diapers = baby" is a false, arbitrary association with no basis in reality. It is solely a subjective human perception. In reality, infants are one of a few groups that would wear diapers, there are also incontinent and disabled people. The association is pretty much only there because infants are common and the diaper companies market towards parents a lot because of it. Even if they were the only demographic to wear diapers in real life, that wouldn't make it any less wrong when it comes to what we do. As for what I do, diapers are a very adult thing. A grand total of one character actually wears them because they like ageplay: Ashen, and not all of the time. The kid characters wear them too but the kid characters are kids. I can understand that some art contains real-world infant diaper brands, and babyish imagery, but for other art the association just isn't there. Rethink what diapers actually are, especially in the context of art. I think this association is downright bad and harmful, because it leads to stupid shit like the FA admins thinking that drawing something in a diaper is portraying it as a child. That doesn't mean I want you to drop what you're doing and listen to me, but I implore you to think twice about it.
- I think that when used right, there is nothing inherently submissive about diapers, especially using them. The association with submissiveness is only there when it's a genuine unintentional accident in the diaper somehow. Other than that, it's not there at all, like the association with babies. I think a messy diaper is one of the most dominant things there can be. They stink, and there's no getting away from it, so if the dominant character has a loaded diaper, then that can be a way to pressure the submissive character, especially if they don't like messy diaper smell. That alone is massively alpha, it's like an aura of dominance. They're also heavy, saggy, and squishy, there are plenty of things to do with that such as facesitting. It might not be what you're looking for if you're into subs, but it's a start.
- I think inspiration is severely underrated in terms of furry characters. This is part of the problem with most people constantly falling back on Nintendo, it's not really even taking inspiration. I take inspiration from Nintendo, but less than you might expect. What I mean by inspiration, is looking at other designs and things you like, and using those as inspiration. Some of the better character designs are really just taking a big collection of things from a handful of sources, rehashing them, and bundling them up into one design. It provides something to work with, and it's limitation. Limitation and things to work around breed creativity, it's an approach that works. Just look at one of my characters: https://imgur.com/a/ARxk23q
Myri is inspired by Aya Shameimaru from Touhou, Sir-Dancalot's old character named Smoosh, Eevee, and I used Sonic to represent Sonic the Hedgehog in general. Those are only the biggest visual inspirations, too, there are plenty of them. That design was probably the fastest I've made, too, I thought her up and then put her to paper over only a few hours. However, the process I see most people using is them taking a species they like, anthropomorphizing it with a completely normal body style, and putting a few spins on it so it's easy to imagine. Why? So they have a character with which to masturbate. That is all.
-I think skeletons in general are severely overrated, though this is less of a problem in the diaperfur sect and more a problem with the entire online presence of art. I dislike skeletons that are just skeletons because they're stiff, homogenous, bony, and unappealing and so should you. I think there's potential to do it right, but most miss their mark so I haven't really seen it done well. Probably the best design incorporating bones I've seen is SCP-1471-A. That character isn't even mostly a skeleton, let alone entirely. I'll use this part to rag on Undertale- Toby Fox created Sans as a blatant copy, I'm not joking at all. A copy of what, you might be asking? A direct rip of Sese from Len'en. They're also a skeleton character, and the similarities are too blatant for it to be a coincidence. Some of them include that they have the exact same shoes, and the Gaster Blaster is very obviously a rip of Marrow Cannon "Bone Buster" with little changed.
- I think jeans and jean diapers are disgusting. I don't have a lot to support this one, because it's mainly a personal opinion, but I really wish those would go away. Some artists draw them on and off, it's annoying every time. There are much better pants.
- I think a lot of the features of real life animals are very overlooked. This owes back to the fact that most people make their characters so they can masturbate. I can't remember the last time I've seen any real-life qualities of animals referenced in art, and I've never really learned anything about animals from art. By this, I mean things like the fact that rabbits have strong legs. Rabbits have big, strong legs therefore you could make a rabbit with big, strong legs as a character, maybe exaggerate them or represent them as very big hips and such. I also have barely ever seen anyone actually acknowledge that there are different variants of rabbits such as arctic rabbits and sumatran rabbits, or that hares actually exist and have distinct traits from rabbits. Due to the way hares are, if you were to make a character with longer ears and bigger legs than what I'd imagine for the rabbit example, then that would make sense if it were a hare. Some things that I like to reference are that lepidoptera like to drink sweet liquid and are known to be attracted to light bulbs, some lions are demonstrably homosexual, goats make bleating noises, and chinchillas like volcanic ash.

This one has some interesting stuff. I got a couple commissions, and it's going pretty good. And I made a semi-accurate 'sona for myself. The closest thing to a face reveal I'd ever do.

Opinion Post (not political)
Posted 7 years agoI felt like saying some opinions I have that I feel like doing in a journal instead of the server. While I'm sure some of these will seem like hot takes, these are my genuine feelings, however controversial. I'll start off strong with
-I don't like the term 'OC' when used to mean 'original character'. It doesn't really make any sense as a term. Most of the time it's pretty inaccurate because it's used to refer to fan characters instead of characters who are actually original, often low-effort ones. I think this is the driving factor behind a lot of artists not allowing OCs in request things, when they think of OCs they think of things like Pokemon fan characters. I don't care if you take, for example, a Lucario, give it a name, give it hair, change it's colours, give it a story and/or give it other features, it's only original in the sense that you made it. Sometimes this can be an improvement but most artists, from what I can tell, would rather draw just a Lucario than what somebody made a Lucario into. If your character is actually original, designed solely by you and not using anything from an established franchise, then the term OC is redundant because of course it's original, it's your character and intellectual property. The next and most important reason is that there is already something we use the abbreviation 'OC' for: original content. If I use OC, I will always mean original content because that makes it a useful, non-redundant term and the other use encroaches upon it.
-I don't think split colour characters look good as a design choice. By that, I mean sometimes there will be characters where one half is black and one half is white, or some other colour scheme. It's usually an inversion. These can be eye-catching but it's not as unique as you think, it doesn't take a lot to come up with a split colour character which makes me appreciate when they go beyond the split colour and look interesting in other ways. When split colour is the only thing they have going for them? Not so much.
-I think subject matter plays into art quality. This might seem to be counterproductive to objective art review, but when I look at art I think about the ideas behind it and have that as a factor in whether I decide it's good, based on whether the subject matter is a good idea. Naturally, the actual skill shown in the art is more important, but I don't think it's fair to ignore the idea side of things. People who have engaging ideas to put to paper are awesome, it gives the art some depth to appreciate. On the other hand, there are some artists I consider talented but whose subject matter lacks the depth to convince me they're really really good. It's hard to justify the subject matter making or breaking any given work of art, but you might want to consider that.
-I think YCHes are not good for art in general. What I mean is they kind of take away the point of art, at worst it's mass-produced low-effort art dressed up as something good. I could probably write an essay on this, but basically, it seems to be artists' effort to profit off of group mentality and people who want cheap art. Before anybody misunderstands, I don't think there is any moral failing in this, just an artistic failing. When I see art is a YCH, it turns me off of it, because I don't want YCH, I want to see fresh-drawn art, what you can do. I've made the mistake of buying one before, I'd never do it again because I like to see creation. For those that buy YCHes, I don't think you shouldn't enjoy what you buy, it is your choice, again you might want to consider that though.
-I think the Cushy Pen is bad in an economical sense. I have a similar dislike of Patreon but Patreon is fair at least, it isn't so bad. I'm no fan of paywalling in general, but with Patreon you can pick the artists you want to support and see their Patreon-exclusive art. With Cushy Pen, you do not get the same luxury. The message Cushy Pen sends to me is "Like this artist or this artist? Too bad, we own them, they're ours. If you want to see their art, you can't just pay to see them, you have to pay to see all of the artists we own" which is very disconcerting. It's an attempt to get a monopoly on a bunch of artists, and it's work. It screws over consumers who don't want everything they have to offer. I gotta give it to Mifmaf though, he played his cards right. That's how people good at capitalism make their money, you might think rich people do no work and didn't earn their wealth, but they did. By playing their cards right, taking smart risks, and getting smart rewards. As far as I know, that's what Mifmaf did and I'm surprised to see it worked out for him.
(Speaking of Mifmaf: I don't think the orca suit is his intellectual property because it's just an orca suit. If I ever draw my character in an orca suit, I would not credit him like other artists do, because why? It's an orca suit. It makes no sense to credit him for just a suit that is kinda like an orca. He can't have any copyright on such a general, vague idea. Picture that with any other thing, like what if I tried to get people to credit me for a caterpillar suit, or god forbid a monkey suit?)
-As far as I've seen, I think a lot of the various art communities including several sects of furry have a warped idea of stylization. The most important thing in this regard is that you should not learn to draw a stylized version of something first or start with stylized anatomy, you should start with learning to draw accurate, at least semi-realistic figures and things from references and observation. That is how you learn to be good at art. If you just copy from another artist, it won't really teach you as much. There's not much wrong with doing it that way, again no moral failing, but it is an artistic failing. What I did was I learned anatomy, done figures on my own time that I don't post, and then I graduated to stylized bodies. I didn't get good very fast, and I wasn't necessarily good when I graduated myself to stylized anatomy, but the important thing is that I knew and understood what I was drawing instead of just making my art nothing more than a fetish deal. On the other hand, as long as stylization looks good, there is nothing wrong with stylization. Realism isn't inherently better than a stylized thing, even if one is more difficult than the other. A realistic version of something doesn't have anything inherently better or worse about it when it comes just to how realistic it is, it's just different. For example, you can say that the way some of us draw diapers is "wrong" or "inaccurate" but that doesn't matter as long as we have some basic structural components that make it identifiable as a diaper are there. We just like them thick as hell, sometimes to a fault but I digress.
-The furry community is not a 'fandom', to be a fandom you have to be a fan of something. For example, the My Little Pony fandom, or the Steven Universe fandom, or anything like that. The simple thing there that sets those communities apart as fandoms is that they have an established franchise that entirely encompasses their interests. My Little Pony fans are fans of the My Little Pony franchise, whatever part of it. They can even just be fans of the comics and not the shows, but they're still fans because that's part of the franchise. Moving back to furries, what do we have that makes us that way? Zootopia? No. There's not anything that encompasses all of what it means to be furry, you can say that we are fans of anthropomorphic animals therefore we are the furry fandom, but that's too broad and can be applied to things that are definitely not in our community, as well as leaving out some things that are. So we aren't a fandom, just a loose community with many sects. This is especially true for people like me who tend to divorce themselves from established franchises.
-I don't like the term 'OC' when used to mean 'original character'. It doesn't really make any sense as a term. This is a little late because I was wanting to finish a couple sketches for it. Also, I accidentally saved finished versions over a couple sketches, but no need to worry about that since the finished images are up anyways. This time around I got a bunch of more experimental stuff, such as me trying out a latex suit which I found exciting in particular. There's also a Len'en fan character in there, my Len'en fan character named Umidori who I designed a little while before August 10th. Len'en is another shmup I play that I find pretty cool. I'm not sure when I'll draw a finished picture of Umidori but I'm already quite fond of them.
Also, Ran Yakumo and Chowder from Chowder have exactly the same hat.

I can actually buy commissions now
Posted 7 years agoI have one coming up by a good artist. I decided to give a little heads-up journal, and I'd also like to mention that I'm interested in buying more, so if any other artist reads this you might want to comment if you're interested. :3
I always had some money to spare, potentially on commissions, but paypal is retarded for me. However, due to invoices being a thing, it actually works for me to pay for things by having the artist send me an invoice via email. Then I can bypass any sort of account and pay without one.

Monthly Sketch Album 2
Posted 7 years agoHere's my second sketch album https://imgur.com/a/xFX6X8q
This one has more rudimentary stuff and less stuff, because I'm being more experimental. I like how it went, recently I've been doing things in what I call my creative junk drawer, where I doodle stuff that's not actually supposed to look good but is for practice. Sometimes it looks better than I expect so I include it in my sketch folder.
Quick edit: Also, I'd like to state that some of these characters I've been making will probably be pretty on/off, it won't be nearly as bad where I have dozens of useless characters that are supposed to be my main cast like before, but now I have a satisfactory main cast and a bunch of characters that aren't necessarily there but have a purpose, I have a purpose in mind for them. I've got ideas for Caelestis, and I've got a bright-looking future in mind for Nazariy. I don't really have any coming-soon ideas for art with them though. Another is Myristica, they're a fairly unique member among the characters but their time to shine isn't quite here yet. They'll be joining the main guys.
My main cast is as follows: Zachariah, Grumpy (both of them are the protagonist of major writing I'm doing), Canella, Stella, and Ashen.

Monthly Sketch Album 1
Posted 7 years agoI believe I said this before, but I'm going to be posting sketches I make in a journal once a month. This excludes really bad doodles I sometimes make and in this one I'm including sketches a bit older but I might have missed some much older ones. Also, a couple have been posted before.
Here's this month's, it's got plenty of character art and fanart, all labelled.

Another Update Journal
Posted 7 years agoI'd first like to remind that I have a Discord server. The server is geared towards furries who want to be in a more high-quality environment and aren't afraid of being held to a standard. Asterisk one-liner roleplays go in the Roleplay-Gulag and bad art goes in rules-free-content. I'm currently the only moderator but I wouldn't mind new ones so we can form a consensus on stuff instead of it being just me. The server is also mostly meant for Right-wing people, as is openly declared in the rules, but there's neutral rooms and we support your 1A rights no matter what your affiliation is.
https://discord.gg/xtpJ8Xm
Also, if you want to see what I've been up to, you can see me talking about it in the server but basically I've been bouncing between a lot of different things. I have some WIP art, a lot of doodles and sketches, and I have stories. I currently have a long Touhou story that needs completing and I'm working on an episodic narrative, which I find exciting. I think I'll start posting journals with Imgur links showing all my sketches at the end of each month, I upload some of them on Twitter because I don't think they're fit to upload on FA, and my Twitter isn't private so you can see them even without an account.
Quick Edit: Also, I forgot to mention, Stella's birthday is coming up. The character was first put into use in the summer time and ever since about 2015 the number has been July 27th. I intend to celebrate it and I wouldn't mind if some of you guys join me.

I do Twitter now
Posted 7 years agoI wanted another place where I can just post whatever I want and stuff, so here it is.
https://twitter.com/plushielover2
I'm going to keep my feed clean, one of the things I dislike about Twitter is my feed being spammed with irrelevant retweets. Not in my Twitter. Also, this time I won't really participate in debate since I don't feel like wasting time on it, and I also won't tweet to celebrities since I don't want to get banned by the Twitter bot.

Fur Affinity's Rules Are Retarded and you should join Inkbun
Posted 7 years agoFur Affinity literally thinks Antifa isn't a hate group. I've literally showed them, took the time of day to SHOW THEM the Department of Homeland security saying Antifa are domestic terrorists, but it's all the same with them. It is undeniable fact that Antifa are domestic terrorists and a hate group, it isn't even that hard to find incidents of them committing hate crames. The Antifa bike lock incident, the recent thing where an Antifa person punched a black person at a protest, ETC. They can't run this website the correct way. I love this website, it's my home base, but my love can only go so far.
Everybody join Inkbunny. Don't like the cub stuff there? Well, I got news for you: IT HAS A TAG BLOCKING SYSTEM. That's why you should join, that alone makes it worth it on top of the fact that it's an actual functional website unlike Fur Affinity or Twitter. Just add the tags you don't want to see to your tag blocking list, and you're set. Inkbunny values freedom and functionality, as opposed to FA.
Here, look at this https://inkbunny.net/blockkeywords.php The best part is that you can report people for not tagging their art properly. I love that. Nobody slacks off on the tags on Inkbunny.
Also, I'll be posting the next stories to Inkbun. So watch out for that.

I love Touhou
Posted 7 years agoTouhou is honestly the only video game I've really played for a while, a few months ago I quit playing online non-browser games (except I've had a few games on Paladins just to see if I'm missing anything) and I also haven't played a lot of single-player games. Except for Touhou. I've played a whole lot of Touhou, and I love it. The gameplay is probably the high point for most, it's very interesting and intense at times, and the music is wonderful with masterpieces like A Maiden's Illusionary Funeral. The music is what brought me in but the rich characters and lore are what keep me coming.
The franchise has well over 100 characters, most of which are pretty well-designed. They have personalities, abilities, their own music themes, lore, and lots of signature moves in the form of Spell Cards. They all fit within this amazing world, it's basically a fantasy world called Gensokyo located in the real world but sealed off so as to protect the inhabits and make the place it's own type of reality. Japanese mythology is the dominant force in the universe even though the lack of belief in myths during modern times threatens their exist. Gensokyo is a safe haven for Youkai, which make up most of the characters, and unlike Yo-Kai Watch these Youkai are pretty authentic, but made into anime-like girls and given ZUN's unique spin.
My favourite Touhou character is Ran Yakumo, because she's got a lot of what I love in characters. She's a tall and adorable motherly character but she's very smart and powerful. My headcanon is that the Yakumos are all a happy family, despite Chen being Ran's servant and Ran being Yukari's servant. Speaking of headcanons, despite being so rich, the dialogue in the game and the stated facts about the characters are fairly small and not concretely defined. This leaves the player with a lot of questions and lets them interpret a character themselves, so each person in the Touhou userbase has probably come to radically different conclusions than other people. This is great, it means you have a lot of fuel to interpret the characters however you like, some people view Gensokyo as a fun happy place while others view it as grim and chaotic. That's part of what makes the fanbase so dedicated, and I'm glad to be part of that.
I very much recommend playing these games, Touhou 14 is on Playism and Touhou 16 is on Steam so it is now more accessible to Western players. Touhou is the only media franchise I'm really interested in now, it used to be Pokemon but Pokemon didn't have enough for me. I love this series over even Cave Story, though when comparing Cave Story to any single Touhou game I still like that more. Touhou being a series with so many games and characters makes it very special.

Big McThankies from McSpanky's
Posted 7 years agoI feel like saying thanks to all the new watchers, and those who favourited my latest 2hu art. I appreciate it very much, I'm feeling good about that art. I learned and improved more, and that's the manifestation of my improvement. Before I drew that, I was actually worried about my skill with drawing female bodies but it worked out.
By the way, I'd like to fully let everybody know that I'm a female. I wanted to keep my gender ambiguous, but Paypal shows my real name so people caught on to my real sex. I hide and lie about my sex specifically because I feel uncomfortable showing it in public when there's creeps, and I've already had a stalker-esque individual or too, people who keep screenshots of my profile from years ago and such(If they saw I was a woman they'd probably accuse me of internalized misogyny for no reason now that I think about it). It's strange and a little unsettling, but I'm over that.
And yes, this means I'm straight, but I enjoy the female figure a lot. This is the reason all my characters have cocks and are almost exclusively gay.

Honest opinion
Posted 7 years agoI'd like to put out a little confession; I'm interested in humans in diapers. However, as usual, I have the utmost standards and expectations for humans. You might just see me draw or get art of Kemonomimi sometime, because when used to their potential they're just smooth-skinned furries. Of course, humans like you'd see in real-life and poorly-drawn humans are still ugly and disgusting monkeys, nothing has changed in regards to that, but it can be done right. One type of human I'm a little more interested in are dark-skinned humans, maybe even black though I think I'll make myself a fictional species that gives me this option. One example of that would be Niko from OneShot, they aren't actually a cat but they're a tan-skinned Kemonomimi child. I like dark-skinned humans because I enjoy the aesthetic, it's harder to see them as humans. Of course, barely anybody draws them to my specifications, but those that do are great.
I'd also like to remind my viewerbase that I don't do female, transgender, or dark-skinned characters for the sake of "diversity", as I'm anti-progressive. I do it because I enjoy it, and I make them good characters before I make them anything else.

New Art On Inkbunny
Posted 7 years agoSo, I'm making my Pokemon characters not Pokemon anymore. This applies to Stella and Zachariah. No visual changes will be made except for the removal of Stella's arm stripes, I might add something else in. This is fair because neither of them look like Pokemon. Also, I gave Zachariah a full name. She is now Zachariah Murgatroyd.
Here's the new art, of Zachariah cosplaying as Koishi Komeiji from Touhou 11 by me. https://inkbunny.net/s/1580422

Character reboot
Posted 7 years agoI decided I'm rebooting my characters and canon, not much will change besides their backstories and such but it will have a significant effect. I'm completely re-making the canon, anybody who was around for the transition between PC-98 and Windows Touhou games will know exactly what's up. All characters are also being scrapped, except for a select 4. I'll update this journal as I go rewriting character entries.
Also, each character will have a Bible verse included under their name that I feel represents them decently, though they are not necessarily aware of any Bible's existence. It's just to add some flavour text in lieu of my previous method of adding flavour text.
Stella Mizuki
Exodus 10:28
Kinks: Diapers, crossdressing, messing and wetting, murder, gore, hard vore, macro and largeness in general (prefers being the large one) unrealistically large cocks, boobs, and voluptuousness
Appearance: Stella is a male anthropomorphic Lion who is 7'8'' tall not counting his mane, 45 years old (Birthday is July 27th) who weighs 389 pounds, though he is very anomalous for a lion. Some unusual features of his are his very literally 'outward' appearance with both his shoulders and hips being very wide while his waistline is fairly thin, and his natural male breasts that he aquired through a genetic anomaly that manifested as he grew older. He is thickset but also quite muscular, with subtle muscles. He looks quite a bit bigger than he actually is because of the fact that he has a lot of black fluff on parts of his body, more than a normal Luxray would have. His fluff resembles battle armour like a helmet, breastplate, huge pauldrons (like in World of Warcraft) and so on but it is otherwise normal besides being slightly more dense. His colours are charcoal black, light pink, and a vibrant purple. He has markings under his eyes to symbolize starlight, going with his name. Another anomalous feature of his is that he has a sort of twin, another full copy of himself that he gained through a mishap in potion-making, they differentiate themselves with colour-coding and are called Red and Blue respectively. In addition, he has a 'Shikigami' which is a familiar spirit taking the form of a long black cobra with small horns, and eyes reminiscent of his which are complete with similar markings under them. The cobra will replace either Stella's tail but only one at a time, without him they just have normal Luxray tails. Stella's fur results in him mostly not being able to wear clothes with the exception of undergarments such as bras, panties, and his favourite being large diapers which he also prefers using. The exception to this is light armour.
Personality: Stella is a mature but playful person, and despite their nature they have quite a silly vibe. They have a big fascination with diapers and using them, and speak with a lisp which can give him a childish demeanor but he isn't actually. He is overall a neutral person in terms of morals but only because he has multiple good and bad behaviours that balance eachother out. He is calm and stoic, not being very expressive, but he can shift to being sly and playful at a moment's notice. Towards his loved ones and especially children, he acts very motherly (preferring 'Momma' over any terms for 'father') and kind. He is enthusiastic about giving them love and attention, being gentle and lenient towards them. He doesn't seek to make many friends but he also behaves in a motherly way towards them. However, he is picky with who he wants to be around and will openly reject people. To anyone other than his children, he is also atypical for a caretaker as he likes fun and mischief for himself over catering to them. This is especially the case if he feels disinterested in a kid. This behaviour can lead to something as harmless as teasing, or it can lead to him sitting on top of cubs which can end badly. He is rather proud of his motherly traits and children though not in a tokenist way. When it comes to sexual things, this also comes into play but he is disinterested in people who give off submissive vibes and traditional sex. He is primarily a dom and only seeks out other doms to have relations with, as he is concerned with the sexual dynamic between people and claims that being a Dom is stylish whereas being subby isn't. Another thing that he is proud of is his respect for the Law, as he himself puts it into practice. He happens to be a police officer, his physical abilities making him very good at his job. He lets the other officers handle most of the misdemeanor issues, while he quite literally tries to hunt down criminals while playing bad cop. Due to being decent at handling money and working a full-time job in addition to the occasional odd job, he is well off with plenty of savings and disposable income though he doesn't have cash falling out of his pockets. His favourite thing to do is be around his loved ones and give them his hospitality.
While he has very good intentions most of the time, he is plagued by a rather bad side. He is not very ideologically sound, unlike most on his side it would not be inaccurate to refer to Stella as a Nazi-esque person as he has rather extreme opinions. He believes in judging people based on their genetics and other features, basically prioritizing what they are over who they are. Admittedly, he judges based on species rather than ethnicity, but that's even worse. He can pick out many species of Pokemon he has an aversion to and desires for them to be culled except for the exceptional ones. He is frequently proud of Pokemon trainers because he sees this in effect in the form of breeding for the best Pokemon and abandoning 'breedjects' but it is not enough for him. He is a massive misanthropist because he sees all humans as inferior and ugly. He can work with humans and help them for his own personal gain such as when it comes to his job, but does so begrudgingly. He also has what can be described as kleptomania, he will desire to steal utterly pointless things, especially when it comes to taking items from children. In addition, despite his respect for the Law, he is not above breaking it. He occasionally roams at night, sneakily stealing and murdering. This can be partially attributed to being a Lion and failing to control his prey drive, which leads to him eating his victims, claiming that by eating and digesting them he's at least making them better, he literally views metabolizing them and then messing out what remains as purifying them. He enjoys eating them in general and is capable of eating souls which he can store in his tummy then manipulate them to use powerful attacks. Also, he very much likes transformation and such in a fetishistic way. While to others this can be a very innocent and fun thing, to him it's a primarily sadistic method of making 'improvements'. This seems to be his reason for being into potion-making and magic. When he sees someone who's species he hates but otherwise likes, he will attempt to have it his way by transforming them.
Combat details: Stella is very physically strong in both attack and defense, with his thick black fur acting as armour. He has a natural resistance to being shot with guns, any time he is shot in his black fur it cannot penetrate past his skin unless he is shot with very powerful weapons such as miniguns. Lasers and other projectile attacks also have a hard time working their way through all the fur. His pink short-hair areas do not have this resistance, though. This makes the most effective way of hitting him getting good shots in on his pink areas, or simply using other options such as cutting weapons and explosives. Stella himself is not very skilled with firearms, preferring to use his ethereal claws instead. His claws can slash through most things and are near-infinitely durable. His snake tail likes to help him in combat, biting and spitting venom at opponents. He is not a wizard by any means, but he dabbles in magic so he can use combat-oriented potions. His only magical assets are his ethereal claws, which are simply claws made of a magical material that he can unsheathe and use, and summoning wisps. His wisps are small blue fireballs that orbit him and fire smaller flames, though their primary function is being able to get in the way of attacks. However, even though he has magically-acquired and generated things, these do not truly do magical damage. One unique thing he can do is manipulate the ghosts of people he has killed, given that he has swallowed their souls. This is intrinsic to his body like any other bodily function and only he can do it this way. He can use powerful spectral attacks because of this, varying with the total strength of souls he has consumed. If he has only consumed one or two souls, he can breathe fire or shoot a fireball by burping it out. If he consumed many or a powerful soul, he can quite literally fart out a laser beam. He can do this by standing in place and pushing his gas out, releasing the ghosts too which casts a large spectral beam, with about as much diameter as his height. It does good damage and has tremendous knock-back, meaning he has to pin people to walls with it to get the full effect, but it is limited by relatively short range. Conveniently, the laser phases right through his diaper like nothing so having one on doesn't inhibit it. Stella has high stamina and can leap far by pouncing, but they lack much mobility otherwise so they are just slow and steady. They show an odd inability to run or sprint, so they rely on surprising and cornering people. This seems to be due to their waddling gait and high weight. Due to this, they cannot chase people and rely on following them relentlessly. The best situation to be fighting him is in a wide open space, at mid-range so you can have a balance of being accurate and safe. This makes Stella's best option having the strategy to keep his enemies where he wants them, and he is quite good at this when he wants a direct fight. He is very tanky by default but he cannot improve that much since only light armour fits him.
Miscellaneous: Stella's digestive system works rather oddly, he has normal, albeit proportionally high, nutritional needs but any excess of carbohydrates tends to make him mess more and has minimalized negative health effects. This leads to him eating nothing but candy and other sweets. He has the intrinsic magical ability to change the form of his body, which mostly applies to an anthro diaper form he loves to use. He can make limited use of portals, using his claws to open them. This allows him to travel to locations he's already been to quickly and he uses them to access a storage pocket dimension, a common asset to have.

Art Update
Posted 7 years agoSorry I haven't been uploading that much, I haven't been going at the pace I've been wanting to though there has been plenty of behind the scenes stuff, practice and improvement. I've also been experimenting. Any given thing you see in my art could be a conscious decision that I may or may not intend to keep. Manji in particular was very experimental and I do not intend for anything in the future to look like that, though I do like the result. It just doesn't apply well to my purposes.Things you can expect me to use plenty are that diaper style and pretty thick lines, but I don't think I'll have it as thick as that.
Also, I'm pretty confused with ferals in general, I though I loved them a lot but I actually don't really. I do love the feral leg lift, but it's just not enough for me to like ferals in general much.
Despite the fact that I've released some not-fantastic things, art has been going good for me. It feels really good when I play to my strengths and I feel as though I need to do that and improve upon that. So far I think my best art is the art of Hazard and the art of Stella with the minimalistically-painted background, can't really decide which is better. Speaking of Stella, I got more Stella coming up. This one is another upright one but I do hope to do one with him in a more dynamic pose, it'll be great. Drawing him accurately is ridiculous so it'll be a challenge, a challenge I welcome. I've also been wanting to do art trades more, I've done one recently that I'll show the results of once both halves are done in a little while.
Last, please remember to vote here. Whether you vote pretty good or bad, your vote is welcome. https://www.strawpoll.me/15198789/r

Art quality poll
Posted 7 years agoI'd just like to hear the general consensus on how my art is. Please try and be impartial, especially if you vote good because I don't want to be considered good for an arbitrary reason. Don't be scared to vote bad, I can accept that. I would have put a great option, but I can't accept that I'm phenomonally good yet. I'd say I'm just good.

Happy Valentine's Day + Confirmations
Posted 7 years agoHappy Valentine's Day, of course. Unfortunately, I did not plan ahead for this holiday so I don't really have a special, unless maybe I do one later like I did for Halloween, but I do have a couple things coming up so it'll be good.
Also, this detail has been mentioned before, in fact it has been mentioned years before to the point where I'm surprised I remember it, but I never really talked about it or had the character celebrate it before. I'd like to confirm that Stella's birthday is July 27th, and this year I'd like to actually have her do stuff regarding it. I will be planning ahead for that since she is my broki-broki girl. Also, due to her unclear backstory her age hasn't really been a concrete thing, but I'm also confirming that her age is 45 years old, going on 46.
I'm hoping that it'll be fun when that time comes around.

New art by Tobicake/Padding_magic on Inkbunny
Posted 7 years agoI've got new art on Inkbunny, it'll be Inkbun-exclusive for an obvious reason so make sure you head over there with your account all good.

Here's my half of the art trade we did. However, I did it a long while ago before I improved a lot. I made the linework way before this was even uploaded so it's more than just 29 days old. It's of Digby, who I wasn't really expecting to draw too, but in the future I plan on making art of his bun boy character because that's who I came in wanting to draw, and I think I could do it better than this. :3
