It's finally summer. Hurray! That means I can get back at drawing and doing commissions. For MONTHS I've been working my bottom off to finish up classes. Was in Florida for quite a while, moved back to Washington and moved myself into my own apartment! Yay!
Now that I am definitely more free than I was before, I'm opening up commissions again. However I'd still have to get a job - gotta pay the bills somehow - but for now, I'm unemployed and have A LOT of free time.
Commission prices will still be the same. Except, this time I'd adding the option of NSFW stuff. Haha. So I'll be doing some minor changes here and there.
Thank you all for who has continued to follow me, maybe you just forgot I was even there, buried in your watch list. But now I am here!

So.. I apologize for the random absence. 2nd semester has started, new classes I have to keep up with, and I'm pretty sure I'm already behind! Whoo! Fun.

Anyway, I feel better and not as stressed as I was before last semester, and I can start drawing again! I have the time, especially now, it's the weekend and no one has hired me yet (another really exciting but time-consuming thing!! great!!!) so I'm going to draw at my hearts content. Another thing, I'm starting to gain the courage to post some of OCs. It's kind of scary. But so far, the community here has been very nice to me and appreciative, and I don't think you guys would mind if I post some of my... dumb [alien] cat ocs fjakl;dsj;

Also, to those who commissioned me, wait no longer. Hopefully by today or tomorrow (I need to stop promising these things) I'll have it done! I feel so bad ; ;

So I've thought, pondered, and finally decided I'd do something kind of cool for Valentines Day. My plan is, I'd do discounts on commissions starting from February 4th to the 18th. A little over 2 weeks, yup! However, these discounts do come with rules; here they are:

For every Valentine-related commission, you get 35% off.
So, instead of paying $25.50 for a Detailed Colored picture, you'll end up paying just $16.58. You save $8.93!

Regular commissions will still be the same price. However, if you order 3 Detailed Colored pictures within those 2 weeks, I'll give you a discount of 34% off. So, instead of paying $76.50 for 3 DC, you'll end up paying $50.46.

Calling all people in the Tallahassee area!! On First Friday and Market Wednesdays, I'm going to try to get myself a booth to sell some of my prints. I'm also going to put some of my prints up on Ebay and try to sell them there too. So if you're in the area, interested in buying some prints (if not in the area, just go to Ebay) I'll be making that possible really soon!!! So far I've been so happy to get commissions lately, I hope to keep them comin'! Don't you sometimes look at your at and think, "I can do better..." or when you look at your old art and it's still really great and good looking and compare it to your current style, I just think, "why didn't I stick to this style? Why does my art have to be so inconsistent??"
But then again, inconsistency should be a good thing, it means you can flip from one style to the next and it leaves so much room for improvement, and you're confident when you experiment with something different. The down side is that it's SO frustrating, especially when I'm being commissioned. I want my commissioners to be happy and give them something they're expecting. I don't know why I'm even writing this journal but this has been bothering me recently and... I'd feel better if I just let it all out. And maybe some people will relate? I don't know. Feel kind of alone in this.
Okay! End vent I'm gonna go draw now
