So after some deliberation and some planning I am ready to start opening for commissions. This is my first foray into this venture so I’m going to be figuring out my capability and limits as I go.

For some ground rules, I do require that you are +18 if you want to commission me. This is for my own safety and well being so I don’t get burned by the system.

When asking for a commission I would like to get an idea of what you would like to see done, so any reference images, poses, and detailed descriptions you can provide will be of great help to help me bring the idea to life. I will also clarify that while I am willing to listen out and try new things, If it is something that would make me uncomfortable I may need to turn it down.

As for what am I able and willing to draw:

For my first go around I have some base level prices to start out with, and I will say that these are subject to change in the future. I will be utilizing Paypal invoices at the start since I have one set up and it helps me keep my paperwork in check. If there are some other avenues I can utilize in the future I can look into them.

I will provide updates at particular milestones of the creative process
Sketch > Line > Color > Ect.
If there are any changes that need to be made then we can talk it over and make adjustments before committing to the next step in the process. In the Sketch phase it’s easy to make adjustments, but with further steps if too many large shifts have to be made I may need to ask for more, I will give ample warning before hand so it won’t be a surprise, I’m not trying to rip people off but I don’t want to be taken advantage of. I will ask for payment before releasing the final image. Once the Payment is confirmed I will send you the full image file.

With that out of the way for this round of commissions I am going to start off with 4 or 5, just to see what I can handle.

So it’s been a hot minute since I last posted a journal.

(TLDR)
For the short and sweet version, I'm looking to make some extra money so I want to see if people would be interested in getting some digital art commissions from me. Gonna post some art soon to show off my skills and I can get some slots up if y'all are interested.


For a bit more context, then allow me to regale you some.

I finished up my bachelors back in 2021 and I was working at the gas station while I looked for a job in my field. Unfortunately I haven’t had luck since the field has become rather sparse and filled with unrealistic expectations so that's taking a bit. While I was getting good pay at my Gas station job and even a promotion to shift lead, a mixture of under staffing, bad oversight, and just a purely bad manager I had to leave for the sake of my own physical and mental health. (I got plenty of horror stories of the terrifying comedic shenanigans, but I digress.)

So I was between jobs for a while, took some time to self reflect and even remodel my room to put myself in a better head space. But I had to find new work sooner or later so I am now a sales representative and I have to say it is so much less stressful on me. It can get boring but I will take that over constant stress from all ends.

This new job has one caveat however, while the pay is good for the kind of work, I am only able to work 11 hours a week. Fortunately while living at home I am making enough to cover most of my expenses, but it doesn't leave me with a whole lot of room for fun money or for building up my financial cushion. With that in mind I have figured if I want to build up some extra money I might as well put the skills I learned to good use.

So I want to offer my services and make some Digital art. It’s going to be a new venture for myself but I want to take the opportunity to use my extra time for some good. If any of you are interested, I would like to know your thoughts. I plan on posting some recent art of mine so everyone could see what I can offer, and open up some slots. Hopefully I can convince you all to give me a shot and for the opportunity to challenge myself.

Well, it's finally coming to that point. In about a week I'm going to be up in Moscow Idaho to finally start up at the University of Idaho. To be honest with everyone, I'm rather scared right now. I'm not scared about the school work honestly, having spent about 5 years at my local college has prepared me for the kind of stuff I will be doing(And having Associates in both Digital Media and Liberal Arts is nice too). Rather what is scaring me at the moment is just the idea of living on my own. I will have a room mate at the dorms, yes, but this is going to be the first time I've been so far from home by myself. It's honestly strange to think about. Fortunately, I have my online friends to keep me company when I'm up there, and I look forward to what I will learn.

(On the plus side, this actually means my schedule is mostly mine to control, so hopefully, I can work on more drawings and stories.)

Today was nice Christmas. Not so much for what I got but for what I got to do. I was dropping my mom and step dad at the air port up in Boise so they can take a small break from the church and the cold. I got spend some time with my mom's side of the family while up there though it was more to see my cousin then anything. I was looking to sell my xbox one cause I really wansn't playing it anymore and my cousin was looking to buy one since his 360 wasn't working so I figured while I was up there I would bring it too him and spend some time to visit. Now time with the family was rather dull (mostly sitting around watching basketball with political talk and children playing with noisy toys) I honistly enjoyed spending time with my cousin and helping him set up the console. It was the first time I got to see where he was living and I got a new appreciation for what he dose.

To make a long story short, my cousin is disabled, half of his body is numb, he can't use his right hand at all, and his moterskills are severely hindered. He is also a single father, raising two children after his wife divorced him for another guy. Needless to say, it's not really easy for him, however seeing where he is right now leaves me feeling proud of him. He can't drive, so he instead rides a bike to his job at jack in the box while his mom and sister help look after his kids. He has a small little apartment that while messy he can call a home. He also takes his kids and walks them to church on Sunday. He dosnt have alot, but he makes the best of it to raise both his kids. I was honestly happy to help him out by giving him my xbox one, as well as a few games for him to start off with it. I don't get to see him often, but I was happy that I could at least do that for him.

I honestly have alot to be thankful for. People like Aldan, Rogus, Gamma, and many others that I have met, I'm just so happy to be a part of their lives and have them be a part of mine, eather as friends or even just acquaintances. This year has been a rather hard one, but it's thanks to my friends and family that I can get through it, and I hope I can do more with them this coming year.

Ok I'm not one to do this normally but seeing how this project is nearing its end I want to try and signal boost this game.

If you haven't heard Indivisible is a game that is looking for crowdfunding, being made by Lab Zero, the people behind Skull Girls. It is an Rpg/platformer and based on the prototype they have available it looks very promising game, with a great visual style and interesting gameplay. If you want to know more look at the indiegogo link I put up top as it's alot better then me yapping.

Now why should this game get attention, well it deserves it. The people behind the game put alot into this before even putting it on and it's honestly got a lot of potential, but as of right now it's at risk of failing, it might get a time extension, MAYBE, but if it is unable to make its goal it won't happen at all.

I now have gotten word on my friends and they are now doing ok. Nathen is getting help and Tyler is back in contact, though has some rough times still with his family. The important thing is that they are alive.
I want to thank everyone who has given their support. I am grateful for all of you.

I am writing this cause I need support in this hard time. This last week, two of my friends had attempted suicide. The first one (Nathen) I know little about the attempt but he is currently in the hospital getting treatment. The second one (Tyler) I found out today, his parents found him this morning with his arm cut from his wrist to his elbow down to his bone. He is at the hospital, but the doctors aren’t hopeful on his odds, however they are doing what they can to save him. I don’t know how they are doing, or what happened to push them that far, so I am left scared about how they are doing.

If you are reading, all I ask is to keep them and their families in prayer. That would comfort me the most at a time like this.

I know how unfair life can be, however it is worth living.

So since things are going to get very busy for me this month, (With helping out at the fair to just overall life in general) I figured that I might try another stream this coming Saturday, July 11th.
What do I plan on doing? Well for the most part I plan on trying to draw a little alongside some video games here and there. Why drawing, cause honestly I need some practice on the computer and some feedback would be very nice, as well as some people to talk with.
As for what games I will play, Well I don’t want to set anything in stone, but I want to play stuff that would be entertaining for you guys to watch, while at the same time won’t bug out during stream. I figure that maybe Eldritch could be fun (Watch me cower in fear through the crypt level and all.) Though after some testing I might update this with a possible list, But time will tell.

IMPORTANT: I will give a time for when I will start streaming. I’m shooting to start about 2:00 PM mountain time. I made the mistake of not giving a clear time, but 2 is a safe bet. I will of course be posting a journal when the stream is up and live.

Hello everyone, I thought I would give a quick update as to what will be coming up.

For starters I want to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday, it means a lot.

But that aside I am graduating on the 15th so that means I am going to have a lot of time on my hands through the summer. While I plan on getting a summer job, I intend to be a lot more active in writing, drawing, and other little projects. I hope everyone will enjoy the stuff I have in store.

-Gaming stream-

Also to help celebrate, I’m going to be holding a gaming live stream this Saturday!
I want to get to know more of my watchers and online friends, so I figured that we could hang out while I play (And more than likely fail) at some games.

At the moment here are the games I am thinking on playing.

All I ask is that that the games are stream friendly, and I probably won’t join any online games, I don’t want to just leave out those who will be watching.

I'm in a bit of a tricky situation in school and I need a bit of help. You see I am on my last semester in Digital Media and I need to promote myself on Social networking. So I am starting a blog where I talk about Video game Design, game industry trends, creative writing tips and over all talk about things I am knowledgeable about.

Now I will be updating it weekly (twice a week if I can) though for class I need to show growth in my attempt at getting myself out there (Aka views or followers). So if it wouldn't be a bother could some of you watch my blog and/or comment on what I put up. I have been rather quiet lately when it comes to activity so I am wondering if I should put some of my sketches up for feed back. I hope to soon turn some into digital (That is if I can get the pen pressure to work right on my monoprice.) but in the mean time I can put a few in my scraps for some feed back on what I should try converting. So what do you guys think

Well considering that I am still repetitively new around here I figured that I might as well open myself up a bit and offer anybody to ask me questions. So if what ever question you have to ask, weather it's about my stories, drawings, My character(s), or just about me in general just ask, I'm fairly open.

Well I got home from school and was going about my day when my mom got a rather unfortunate call. My Papa (Grandpa) Passed away this morning. It is shocking news and I need to sit and proses this. I want to ask if you can keep me and my family in your prayers. I may not reply to things for awhile, sorry to those I am Rping with.

I am in need of a bit of help. You see I am having trouble with drawing a character of mine and wile I try to improve I can only draw profile and I have some difficulty getting his muzzle right. So I want to try and find someone to commission a head template for my character. I am not trying to take anyone's art style, I only want the template as an off hand guide to help me get used to drawing my character's head. The template will need a profile, semi-profile (head turned slightly) and full frontal shots of my character's head (And if reasonable a few ways of drawing his mouth open would be nice to have as well.). If you know someone who would could do that, please let me know.
