As of the 27th of September, I'm now 23 years of age! I can now do the same exact stuff I could do at 22... but with an extra year of maturity!

I'm back in college, and it's actually kicking my ass. I'm taking two science classes and an accounting lab course. I have an Energy Science group project with that no one has any consistent idea of what to in. Biology feels like Greek abstract art. Accounting felt okay at first, but now it feels like the numbers are in Chinese. I was offered a job as a tutor for entry-level computer classes, though. I'm expecting that to go well. Maybe, before the year's out, I'll be able to build that PC I've always wanted to build.

As for my art, it's been slow. I've been doing a lot of rethinking and retooling and reorganizing. So, I've been putting off actually making anything. Honestly, I'm not really feeling art right now. Not like I used to.

I want to get back into writing again. Whether it's a comic or a short story, I want to try writing something.

I miss sleeping in...

Hello! It's been a long time. How have you been?

I've been a bit busy. I went to therapy, got a grasp on my depression and anxiety, posting more art on the tumblr, and now I've got a job! So everything's been going well.

I've reconsidered my long- and short-term goals to be things more simple and clearly obtainable. I'm worrying less about what's in the past and what hasn't happened yet. I'm still shy, but I'm getting to be a bit more outspoken. Everything's been going well.

So...

AND a robot servant that can do whatever you need it to, that you even get to customize to your wildest fantasies…

BUT

At the end of every social interaction you have, the robot has to come in and ruin it in some way. Like, if you’re at the mall chatting it up with a smokin’ hot employee, and the robot just comes in, grabs the back of your underwear, and wedgies you so hard you’re lifted off the ground, all while the employee is watching.

Let me remind you that the robot will do anything you want; it’ll cook for you, clean for you, play video games, do taxes, drive, cuddle with you on cold nights - whatever. But no matter what, after every interaction with another human being, the robot MUST publicly do something to make you look like an idiot.

The college semester is almost over but that means that finals are just around the corner.

I've got tests to study for and a website to make for my Web Design class. I have an A in all my classes, but all I've been doing is following instructions. The web design final project is so open-ended that I'm actually getting lost in a sea of half-baked ideas. I have exactly 2 weeks to make a 5+ page website, and I. Am. Sweatin'.

Speaking of half-baked ideas, I've also been trying bring some structure to Six Silly Sticks and Tales of Conquest. For SSS, I've a REAL relationship chart and added notes on why character A feels a certain way towards character B. I'e also started thinking about a full design for Black Dog, the only active character who's still just a stick figure. For ToC, since it's a project in world-building, I started with listing themes that would be present throughout the characters and their stories.

I know all the planning in the world won't matter until I actually start drawing the damn comics and writing the stories, but until I get more time and desire to do so, we're starting small. Very small.

Wow, sorry for keeping kinda quiet here. It's seriously been almost an entire year since my last journal.

Anyway, I'm working on something right now. A little short story featuring mine and a friend's characters. It's been waaaay too long in the making, but I'm making progress. I hope to have it done by Christmas.

I got a new USB keyboard to replace my laptop's faulty one. This one's a gaming keyboard with a cool blue backlight and more keys than I really have use for. I like it. :)

This past semester at the college has been stressful, but it went well. I got all A's in my classes! :D
For the coming semester, I'll be going to the campus in the city, which I'm not looking forward to. (It's almost a 2-hour bus ride...) I really need to get some extra funds so I can finally get a car...

I've been kicking ass and taking names in TF2 and Smash Bros for 3DS. I also beat Pokemon Omega Ruby recently. It was beautiful.

I've been feeling really good lately. The happiest I think I've ever been in my life.

Anyway, you guys'll probably see something from me before the year ends. And if not, well... Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Oh, and just to let you know, I've been extremely active on my Tumblr blog. I have a blog where I post my art as well, and there are some things that are on there but not here, due to either being unpolished or against FA's policies. So, yeah.

Hey, everyone. How are you doing? You're all looking as beautiful as ever tonight.

I'm coming up to the end of my first semester of college, and so far... it's been a business.

I was very mentally ill-prepared, and ended up dropping one of my classes. My aspirations have changed, causing me to regret choosing the major I'm currently registered in. There's been a lot of stuff happening that causes me stress outside of school, as well.

However, there has been some good. I've made a few new friends, and still stay in contact with past ones. I'm doing extremely well in my math course, and I'm doing alright in my psychology class, too. My art class isn't necessarily hard, but I find it increasingly more difficult to stay motivated in it. Regardless, I've learned a lot in these past four months, about the world, and about myself.

I barely have half an idea of what I'm going to be doing from this point on, but no matter what happens, I'm sure everything will be fine.

Oh, and while I'm drawing a lot more than I ever have before, my will to, or skill in my writing seems to have deteriorated terribly.

I really miss role-playing...

Hello, everyone! How have you been?

Since I started college just a couple of weeks ago, I've been reasonably busy. I'm taking four classes this semester, 3 of which assign some reading material about twice a week or so. My 4th class is a drawing class that has, so far, proved itself to be the most fun. There are a lot of great people in my classes, as well! :)

I've been searching for a job around my town for some time now, but I haven't exactly been having the easiest of times with it. (I miiiight not be putting much effort into it...) BUT, I've been trying harder lately, and I've got a feeling that life's about blow some doors down for me! :D

Yet, even with this stuff going on, I still have the luxury of being bored. Sooooo~
I was hoping that you guys could help relieve me of my boredom by maybe suggesting something for me to draw?
Hopefully something Pokemon-related, since X & Y are coming out soon? :3

Did you hear about that CAS thing that came into effect today? Some kind of law or rule or policy that says something about slowing down your internet after 6 warnings if you download something illegally? Something along those lines.

I really don't know what to think of it yet, since I haven't seen anything about it. I wonder how they'll enforce and monitor something like that.

I've been drawing a lot more since the beginning of the year. I'm STILL working on SSS, but I'm at a wall I can't seem to get past.

I've altered my room a bit, changing it from a child's old fantasy to... a bleak-looking work-in-progress.
