Note: Since I spend more time on dA then here, expect some breaks in continuity. My 2 galleries are rarely completely up to date at the same time...

I've noticed that since I've started playing guitar for real, I've started to detest any guitar hero game since GH3... (with the single exception of Metallica, since they're... well Metallica)... It currently is at an all-time high, ever since World Tour's version of Living on a Prayer gave me actual nightmares for weeks because of their completely undead looking characters!

Rhe games completely stopped inspiring me to play guitar the way the first 2 did... Those 2 actively and more importantly genuinely tried to get people interested in becoming musicians... I never was a real fan of rhythm games (with the other odd exception of Elite Beat Agents) but the first Guitar Hero game combined the regular old Simon says/follow the leader gameplay with a uncanny love for the music that it represented. A love that eventually returned in the form of Rock Band and still is a continuous source of inspiration for my somewhat still awkwardly horrible fretwork... But any Guitar Hero branded product after Neversoft took over? Not a chance...

Well, since I'm at pageview 1006 without having anyone to claim the 1000th view, I'll change the previously given rules a bit. First one to comment on this journal gets a Kiriban. (pencil sketch with a maximum of 2 characters)

I'd say it's been a blast :P People have been so welcoming even though all I really did was transfer images from my other galleries to here.

There's an immense sense of freedom on this website and I'm glad I finally started using my month old account... which I forgot I even made back then. My account may be somewhat old, but I'm actually a total newbie.

Now that I've finished copying most of my old art, I can start making some FA specific art, even though it'll take a while before I really have time to properly color my stuff.

I hope the rest of my stay will be as rewarding as the first few days.
