So I live in an apartment and I'm having some trouble with the downstairs neighbors. Basically, they've been fighting and yelling the whole evening and they continue to do so even now. A few minutes ago they came knocking at my door telling me I was making too much noise. I wasn't doing anything noisy, I wasn't listening to music or TV or anything at all! I was just sitting at my computer working on a story... But apparently the rolling of my chair on the floor was too loud! Like, what the hell? I'm writing this from my bed because I can't sit at my desk anymore apparently! Seriously, they're complaining about the wheels of my chair making too much noise? Its not like I'm rolling all over the place either... I was just sitting at my desk, typing away at my story. Of course you can't be completely immobile all the time, from time to time I get up to get a snack from the kitchen or just change position... But apparently that's too much! Jesus... And they're still making noise!

A few years ago I had some crazy neighbors that would complain at the slightest noise, seriously, they'd complain if I went to the bathroom past 10 pm, it was crazy! Basically, you weren't allowed to do anything past 10 PM, not even walk to the kitchen to get a snack! As a night owl I find this very annoying, especially since I'm barely making any noise at all! Seriously, if you live in an apartment you have to be ready to endure a certain level of noise, I mean I can hear my upstairs neighbors snoring for god's sake! Should I go banging on their door and demand they stop snoring? Man, I hope the sound of my typing this isn't too loud :P

The current political climate has gotten more toxic and vitriolic than I have ever seen before. I really hesitated to write this journal because now a days it seems like you can't talk about politics without becoming a lightning rod for criticism and personal attacks. Even if you remain neutral people will say you're either an idiot for not realizing one side is clearly better than the other or a coward for not standing up for the side you believe is right. *Sigh*

How did we come to this? I fear the internet is only aiding in the process of polarizing the masses which inevitable leads to violence and conflict. Just remember that stoking the flames of fear, hatred and anger is often the easiest way to gain political leverage. I'm not saying both parties are the same or that who's in charge doesn't matter but things always seem to be blown out of proportion for political expediency. Both sides are guilty of this and no matter how much you disagree with someone, resorting to violence just lands credibility to the other side's narrative. Keep calm and carry on. I'm not saying you shouldn't protest what you disagree with, but remain civil and don't freak out.

Alright, hopefully this journal won't become an ideological battleground.

Hey, I wanted to ask, does anyone know a good program to do 2D animations? I've been wanting to do short 2D animations but I don't know what program to use. I've googled it and downloaded a free program but its extremely basic and isn't good for much else than stick figure animation. So does anyone know of a good free program to do animations? If there isn't anything good that is free I could spent up to 15$ on a program.

I don't know what's happening as of recently... People who used to talk to me have just gone silent for no apparent reason... People who used to be interested in my work now don't seem to give a shit about it and people just seem completely uninterested in talking to me. I've been working a lot on my interactive story but haven't got a lot of feedback on it... I guess its the wrong format to get feedback on. *Sigh* Just feeling blue right now... I guess it will go away.

So a quick update on my cousin's cancer status. She's been doing chemo for some time now and it had little to no effect on the cancer. The doctors told her the other day that she has at most 10 months left to live, and that's only if she continues chemo which has really degraded her quality of life. Now she has to decide if she wants to continue the chemotherapy and live a few extra month or stop and have a better quality of life for 3 to 4 months.

My mother really hasn't been taking it well, she often cry and has been really depressed, like I said before, this niece was a bit like the daughter she never had, she is really close to her. This is confounded by a lot of money issues I, my cousin and my mom have been having. Those are dark times indeed, it feel like a huge weight is bearing down on everyone. That is all.

So a month ago I learned that my cousin has pancreatic cancer, this is the deadliest form of cancer with only a 2% survival rate. I'm sorry, I just have to put it out there, I have to vent or whatever you might call it... Things have been getting worse. She has been hit hard with Chemotherapy, she already lost 60 lb in just two month and she's just always sick and in pain and all of that for living a bit longer maybe.

On top of it, her younger son has been acting up... like, really badly. She has two sons, the older is 16 and the younger is 14... the older has been very supportive but the younger has just been lashing out against her and his father. The thing is, her husband is a trucker so he often leaves the house for many days at times for his jobs and can't always be there to help her and support her. But yeah her younger kid has been acting really douchy... He has been very difficult because his mom can't take care of all household task anymore and he has to do a bigger share of the work... He's also been caught smoking and drinking... yeah he's 14... The other day he pushed her to tears. I know he's probably acting out because he can't cope with his mother probably dying... But he's just making things worse for everyone. What do you even do in this kind of situation? What do you even say? How do you deal with an unwinnable battle?

So I've been working on an interactive story recently and I wanted to know who here is interested in this concept? So far the story is: You're a thief going into a fortress to rescue your brother. You don't know where he is in the fortress so you have to look around, you also bring with you two associate who might or might not have other plans in mind. So yes this will be a good occasion to bring out some of my less used preds ^^

So far I'm planning to host this interactive on eka's portal, but does anyone know another site where I might put it? Feels like I should put it in a least two places in case one of them goes down.

I'm writing a freaking interactive story and I'm trying to make a neat little freaking link so that I can put the word "Picture" beside a character's name and if you click on it it takes you to a picture of that character, but I tried HTML and it doesn't do jack and I tried the BBCode they said would work on that freaking page and it didn't freaking work... I'm just about to blow a goddamn fuse at this point I haven't fraking slept in 24 hours and I just want the page to be nice and clean instead of having a giant ugly web address in the freaking middle of it... Jesus Christ.

Hey, just wanted to give you guys a little update on my material production. I know I haven't uploaded anything in a while but I'm working on materials right now. Basically what happened is I got a little unmotivated for a while, just a random slumps like everyone has, but I broke out of it about a week ago. So why haven't I uploaded anything yet? Its simple, I'm working on a big project right now, a story with lots of illustration to go along with it! I don't wanna get into specifics, but the story is pretty big and comes with a lot of fully colored pictures to illustrate each scene. Its my most ambitious project yet and its taking a lot of time as there's just really a lot of material to write/draw. If everything goes well I'll be posting it by next weekend.

Aside from that I've been thinking about a lot of stuff lately, thinking of possibly making an interactive story, that would be cool wouldn't it? Would anyone be interested in that?

So I mostly accepted my cousin having cancer now, I'm feeling alright and stable as of right now, thanks to anyone who replied to my previous blog^^

But yeah, the question I would like to ask of you now is this: Which pic or story from my gallery do you like the most and why? It can be a pic I drew myself, one of my story or a pic I commissioned, doesn't matter! And if you think I ask this because I want people to tell me how great I am... You're partly right X3 But also I'm interested in hearing what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong and also what kind of material people like better (and no I'm not gonna decide what I draw solely on what people want to see but pretending this has no effect whatsoever on what I'd consider drawing is just not true.)

Welp, that sure didn't worked as planned X3

Alright so let's start from the beginning: Last week I had this idea about making public domain character design. The idea was simple, I would draw some blank slate characters and let anyone use it as they please. So I would draw a pic and people could give this character whatever name or backstory they wanted and they could use the pic however they wanted. This stem from me drawing characters that I don't end up using, so I thought I'd make them public domain and let anyone use them instead.

So I drew a character, put a lot of effort to make her look as good as I could and posted it. I posted three drawings, and so far only one person has showed any interest at all in these. I guess people aren't really interested if anyone can use these, they want to have it to themselves so anything that is open to all is worthless. So anyway, it was a fun idea, but I don't think I'll ever do that again.

Yep... I did it again... my stupidity has led to depression once again.

I took some melatonine despite the fact I know it triggered depression in me... I thought it would be safe to take it only once... but here I am, depressed as fuck for no good reason.

Urgh... I hate myself so much right now.

Right now I haven't slept in 42 hours... I have never stayed awake for that long before... I wanna sleep so freaking bad. My brain feels like mush... I'm so tired I can't really do anything or think straight.

But I can't sleep... not that I don't want to, I tried over and over but its like I can't physically sleep, I get in bed and close my eyes but nothing happens... and yes I wait, I just laid in bed for two hours and still I wasn't able to sleep.

This is the danger of prescription drugs... I was prescribed something to help me sleep... but now my brain is like dependent on it... without it I can't sleep at all... but I need to purge it out of my system... I just don't know how long it will be until my body readjust and learn to sleep without that chemical again. On top of it I was given Melatonine to replace it and make me sleep... it does nothing!

Hurrgghhh... I just wanna sleep... I want this to be over...

I wanna do an animation, but I don't know what program to use. Any advices?

I've been on weasyl ever since the attack... and to be honest it kinda sucks. I mean, it only gets a fraction of the traffic of FA... I posted 59 submission so far and I barely got any favorites or comments. I tried searching for vore and I barely find anything at all... the site just feels empty and lifeless.

So I'm stuck at my mom's place until tomorrow. I didn't know you could be so bored. Since yesterday I have been stuck with old people talking about the weather, gardening, bird watching and real estate. I tried talking about science and astronomy... but I was told those things were too distant for them to care. Mind-blowing science that might change everything we know about the world? Pfff, boring! Now let me talk about the flowers I planted in my garden.

Man... old people are so boring... I think I might actually die of boredom.

Okay I just had a crazy idea. I'd like to draw new characters... but I don't really have any use for new characters... So I'm thinking... what if I drew new characters... and made them open source? Basically these character could be used by anyone, and anyone could use/post the pics of this character as long as he or she credits me. It would be a way to give back to the community while also spreading knowledge of my art.

I know... people usually just steal their pics for a character so they might have no use for that... Dunno... comments, ideas? Recommendation? Would anyone be interested in something like this?

All thing considered... this is probably a really bad idea. I'm afraid people will take that as in all my characters are open source and I'll have people left and right stealing my private characters. I already had my characters stolen twice already... and those are just the ones I caught! Who knows how many times my character have actually been stolen...
