It's finally out.
Posted 14 years agoWell, my tooth's out. It cost me a good $200, but it's finally out. All I need to do now is to deal with the infection that its rotting caused...
Back from the rock show.
Posted 14 years agoWell, I'm back from the rock and gem show in Bloomington. Spent about three days up there, were I helped to set up and sell the merchandise from my mother's company "Wildcat's Whatnots." It was an interesting experience. A lot of pretty rocks, sparkling geodes, and spectacular carved precious and semi-precious stones. The guy next to us was selling crafting tools such as grinders, tongs, and polishing cloths; the guy across from us was offering single and gold rings that you could have customize with any type of stones you wanted and/or could afford. We, ourselves, were selling our stone-orientated necklaces and earrings. There a lot of interest in what we had, and we sold enough to cover travel costs and vendor fees.
Hard to believe that we'll be doing the same thing next week when we set up for a powwow up near Indianapolis.

Anyone play World of Warcraft?
Posted 14 years agoBeing the curious kitty that I am, I'm curious to know if anyone here plays World of Warcraft? If so, what Realm, and what faction?
Also, on that point, is anyone planning on buying Star Wars: The Old Republic when it comes out?

In loving memory. Update.
Posted 14 years agoWell, it's over. Michael has been put to rest in the strawberry patch where Snickers is also resting, buried with his favorite shirt, and with a simple storage box as his coffin. I've blessed his grave with a simple Native American smoke ceremony done in respectful mourning. He should be resting in peace, both in this world, and the next.
As for me, I think I'm holding up well all things considering. Sure, I can't stop crying, I'm depressed as hell, and I wish he was still around. I'm sure everyone that has gone through this isn't easy. Especially since it was barely two weeks ago that another one of our dogs was put down. After all I was his caretaker. Yet, it's all part of the grieving process as my family keeps telling me. I just wish there was an easier way to go about it.
The worst part of all this is not the fact that I lost a very close friend that I grew up with. It's the cleanup I'm required to do when I stop mourning. Tradition dictates I need to clean out my space. That means strip down my bedding. Wash all my clothing. Wipe down any and all surface Mickey may have touched. And lastly smudge the places he spent most of his time in. It would be easier to just get rid of everything, and get new stuff as my ancestors did before the coming of the Colonials. Sadly, that's just not an option.
The work of a shaman is never done...

In loving memory. Part2
Posted 14 years agoWell, it's been almost a month since Snickers had to be put down for medical reasons. Having recovered from her death, I'm forced to confront another. We're putting down another of our dogs.
His name name is Michael, named after a cousin from whom we got him from. Everyone just calls him Mickey; I call him Old Man. Like Snickerdoodles, he's a chihuahua. Unlike Snickers, he's long haired, and patterned almost exactly like a fox; though, his coat is faded, and his hazel brown fur has turned a deep shade of grey from age.
He's been having problems for the past few years. First his eyesight went with the coming of his cataracts. Then his hearing went. This was followed by a loss of mobility in his hind legs. Being nearly eighteen years old, it's remarkable he's still able to get around.
I've been putting off sending him to sleep for several months now. I just couldn't face the death of one of our animals. However, with the death of Snickers I now realize just how much pain Mickey has been in for so long. Looking back it was kind of selfish of me to think I could keep him forever.
He's scheduled to be put down tomorrow morning at 10:30am. As much as it saddens me to let him go, I now know it's time to say my goodbyes. This time I think I'm prepared.
Love you always Old Man.

Posted 14 years agoI'm not sure where to begin, or how I should start. I'm not even sure I want to deal with it; though, I have little choice.
In little over thirty minutes one of the family dogs is going to be put down. Her name is Snickerdoodles, named after the cinnamon cookies that she smells like; though, we just called her Snickers or Ikey for short. She's a short-haired chihuahua, little over five years old, and the sweetest thing you ever seen. She has the cutest little whining you've ever heard, and instead of barking she yodels.
When we bought her she was supposed to be a teacup chihuahua. Mom wanted a dog that she could carry around in her purse. Snickers didn't stay a teacup. She grew to be larger than the other chihuahuas. Almost from the instant she was brought into the family she gravitated to my dad, being his almost constant companion.
Here recently Snickers was diagnosed with a severe heart murmurs. This has caused her to be extremely overweight, short-winded, and generally unable to get around. The vet said she didn't have much longer to live, and that the best option would be to put her to sleep.
It's a hard choice to make. How can you put down a member of your own family? How can you end the life of such an innocent creature? By what right does anyone have to kill another living being?
Sadly, the choice was made. She suffered greatly with her condition. There were times when she would just whine and whine in pain, and there was nothing anyone could do for her. There was only one thing we could do, and that is to end her pain.
So, with tears in my eyes, I say goodbye to one of the sweetest, gentlest friends I've ever known.
I'll miss you Snickers. Sleep well...

Teeth and Gundam RPG.
Posted 14 years agoThere are two things I would like let everyone in on today.
The first is that I went to the dentist this morning. He filled my upper right fang. He put a cap on it, so to hide the obvious cavity that had somehow developed there. He also referred me to a dental surgeon so that my problem tooth can be pulled. Sadly, that appointment won't happen for at least another month or two.
Secondly, I'm interested in creating a Gundam roleplaying game. This game will not be based in any established canon universe; it will be a fan universe that even you can help to develope. Despite not being an official continuity it will, however, feature a plethora of Mobile Suits, Mobile Armors, and technology that appears throughout the Gundam series. If you think you would be interested in such a game send me a private message. Depending on how many people are interested this game may take place on a Yahoo! Groups, or a forum message board such as ProBoards.
P.S. The Gundam RPG may also have a website dedicated to it depending on how many people are interested.

Home life.
Posted 14 years agoIt's been a while since I last made an entry into my journal. Usually I'm not the kind of guy to give out information of any kind unless asked. However, I think it's about time I broke my silence and let everyone who's interested know what's going on with my life.
First off, I'm certifiably nuts. My doctors have diagnose med as being schizophrenic. Why it's taken over fifteen years for my doctors to finally say I'm going insane is beyond me. On that note I've also been diagnosed with seasonal depression. Add that to my already existing depression, and it equals out to constant body aches, shooting pains, and a general lack of interest beyond staying in bed.
My application for disability has been denied. Again. This makes the fifth time my petition for disability has been denied. I went ahead and appealed my case about a months ago. So far I've got no word on how it's going.
Thirdly, it appears I have a decaying molar that is in need of either drilling and filling, or being pulled entirely. There goes two-hundred dollars (United States dollars, of course.)
With summer on it's way (and so are my summer allergies) Mom's bribed me into doing some spring cleaning. You know, ripping out the room carpet, laying down hardwood floors, rearranging the furniture, dusting off the clutter and sorting through it.
Dad finally got his ATV wheeled walker, so the family is definitely going to be doing more walking this coming spring/summer/autumn. Odd thing is, with his hips, I always thought he was slow. Now that he has his walker, he's even outpacing me!
Finally, my little brother is back in school. He's attending the local college, Vincennes University (Indiana's first college), and yet again has made the Dean's List. You'd think with all the studying that he does that he would have already gotten his Bachelor's in biomedical engineering.
And so that's how things are going. It's may no be very interesting, but I never said I had an exciting life.

Predators and birthday cake.
Posted 15 years agoWell, it's that time of the year again. I'm another year older. Yep, I'm now 24, a fact my little brother seems to keep taunting me about.
What did I do to celebrate? Actually, I didn't do anything. I just sat around watching Predators, eating Indian fried bread, and playing Warcraft.

Livejournal, finally.
Posted 15 years agoWell, I've finally activated my Livejournal. I've had it for some time, but it's not been much use to me. Now that I've started my novel I figure I'd give it a try once again. Check it out: http://kantorock.livejournal.com/
Chakitties!!!!
Posted 15 years agoWarcraft has Chakats! Yep, you heard right. Cataclysm will be releasing a new faction called the "Ramkahen." They're a mono-gendered felitaur species native to the upcoming Uldum.
I'm back!!!!
Posted 15 years agoWell, I'm back from the powwow. A day early, in fact. Mom got overheated and sick, so we had to call it quits.
So, how was it? It was... interesting. Ten long, cramping hours to drive across two states. One hour getting lost in the back-roads trying to find the reservation, and other hour to get un-lost. By the time we finally got to our campsite we were tired and irritable. We didn't even bother to unpack the trailer; we just climbed in, and fell asleep.
Most of the next day wasn't much better. It was hot as hell, reaching in the upper 90Fs. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, so I got sunburned, badly. Only a few vendors showed up, so there wasn't anything to really browse through. To top it all off Chief Grey Owl had no idea how to conduct the ceremonies or dances, so the drummer had to lead the powwow. He wasn't supposed to do anything but beat the drum and sing the songs, for crying out loud!
All in all it was an interesting trip. It probably wouldn't have been so bad if the Chief new what he was doing, and half the clan had a good opinion of him - (main reason why there were so low attendances.)

Not feeling so hot.
Posted 15 years agoI love my little brother. I really do. I do my best to look out for him when I can. I even worry about him.
But when he brings home these damn colds from college I just want to bop him upside the head. Not only did I catch his cold, but so did the rest of my family!
And my clan's powwow is just two days away.
I hate being sick...

Second Life not for me.
Posted 15 years agoWell, I tried out Second Life thinking it would be a great escape from my usual online activities. I was wrong.
The installation took forever. My old account was deleted, so I had to create a new one. When I finally got through the tutorial I was left totally in the dark as what to do next. I tried to explore some of the more popular locations, but that proved to be not such a good idea. The movement was glitchy. The buildings took one hell of a long time loading. I kept flying off in directions I wasn't even facing. And I got kicked out of sixty-three seperate "prive properties." After that I spent an hour fiddling with my character's appearance, but that turned out disastrous, and I couldn't find out how to undo my changes.
So, I have this to say: Screw you Second Life. I'll be keeping what remains of my first life, and be happy with it.

Transformers are go!
Posted 15 years agoWell, my Transformers forum is set up and ready to go. If anyone' interested in joining, it can be found at http://the-transformer.forum-motion.com/index.htm. It has message boards where you can talk about anything you want, as well as role playing game called "Transformers: Prophecies."
Hope to see you there.
Hope to see you there.
Spring update.
Posted 15 years agoWinter's come and gone, and spring is now here. The once dead trees are leafing, and the flowers are budding. As beautiful as the world is about to get I find myself wishing for winter, as I know soon my allergies are going to be out of control.
So, what have I been doing over the winter? Not much. I fought for my disability in court, but lost in the end. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, and my back is getting worse.
I tried the new Star Trek: Online game. I found it to be buggy as well, and got booted from the server every thirty minutes. It's a great game if you're a Star Trek fan; not only are you able to fight in person, but you're able to fight with your own star ship that you can customize in both weapons and appearance.
I'm looking forwards to getting back on as soon as possible.

Happy Birthday... to me.
Posted 16 years agoIt's that time of the year again for me. Oh, how I hate it. All those regrats come flooding back with a downwards spiraling depression at the relational that time has gotten away from me. What am I talk about? Well, my birthday of course.
23 years old. It's hard to imagine that so much time has passed when I still feel like I'm back in middle school. Where did all that time go? Where are the days I used to spend looking out the classroom window wishing school was over? Where are the days when I couldn't wait to grow up so I could be like my dad? What happened to those times when I fussed with my mom about not wanting or needing a nap? I ask you, where has all that time of a squandered youth gotten to?
In all it was a rather enjoying birthday. I got some new Star Wars resource books, cheap. Picked up a new computer chair from Good Will. Managed to get my paws on a copy of World of Warcraft with a month's worth of trial play. My brother happened to buy me two dvds: TMNT and Transformers: Revenege of the Fallen. And, of course there was my holy cow cake. (No ice cream; I don't like icecream with my cake.)
It was celebrated in my family's usual manner: quite, relaxed, and otherwise in passing. No big chorus of "happy birthday." No candles on the cake. Not even wrapping paper for the presents (unless you count the store plastic bags.) All in all, just the way I like it.
Now, if I could only stop next year's birthday from coming....

Picking up where I left off.
Posted 16 years agoHere lately I've been looking back on some of my old projects. I noticed that I gave up on them before they really got started. Many of them barely got out of the brainstorming phase.
Some of them I would really like to pick back up on. The problem is that I don't know where to start. I know that regardless of which I choose I'll be restarting the project regardless.
Here's a list of project's I've been eying:
-Pokemon: A Hero's Journey. (Sprite comic)
-Mega Man X: Everyday Joe. (Sprite comic)
-Zoids: Battle Century (Sprite Comic)
-Chakat Chronicles: Ships of the Line (Fanart)
-Bionicle - Aviru Nui: Mask of Sprites (Sprite Comic)
-The Fallen: The Darkness that Surrounds (Short Story)
-Biker Mice from Mars: The Movie (Fanfiction)
-Chronicles of Pern: Overview (Fanfiction)
If you've got a favorite let me know.

Too many peepholes.
Posted 16 years agoI'm watching way too many people. I can't keep track of five hundred new submissions per day, as well as the massive amount of journal entries. Can you imagine watching nearly six hundred separate people at once? Trust me, it's difficult.
I should really go through my watching list and choose the ones I really want to watch. I probably would if I weren't so lazy about it.

Massive gallery update.
Posted 16 years agoI finally got around to updating my gallery. I was meaning to get to it earlier, but I was being lazy as always.
Anyways, I put all my unfinished series into my Scraps. I also uploaded several new screenshots I took of my Wheel of Time Fanchar I spend the last days working on. As much as I hate creating my own character from scratch (litterally writing some of the code and creating her from the wireframe up) I think it's well worth it.
I also uploaded a small notification explaining that my renders do not violate FA's Acceptable Upload Policies. If you're interested in read it go visit my gallery. And while you're there comment and +fav on something. ^^;

3D Custom Girl. Create your own custom anime girl.
Posted 16 years agoHave you ever wondered what it would be like to create your own anime girl? Ever wanted to insert your own female character into your favorite anime or manga? Well here's your chance. With 3d Custom Girl the only limit to what kind of female you can create is your imagination.
Seriously, though. I've been waiting for this type of program to come out for years. As a low-ranking otaku I have this unexplainable love for women in japanimation, and some men, too, you could have imagined how I felt about being able to create my own character for some of my favoriute animes. Not only am I able to create my own anime characters, but I could recreate characters from nearly any anime or game I want.
With the near limitless ability of customization it came as a rather unique surprise when I discovered the H-Feature. Now, I'm not going to go into detail about what exactly this feature is, but you anime fans out there may have an idea to what its function serves.
Needless to say, I'm hooked. Expect to see a few of my fanchars within the next few days.
If you would like to get your paws on a copy of 3D Custom Girl, please sent me an IM. For unique mods and patches, let me know.

2 thousand +
Posted 17 years agoWow....I've got over two thousand page views. Does that mean I'm becoming popular, or does that mean people don't have anything better to do beyond drool over porn?
Well regardless, thanks to everyone that's visited my gallery, and thanks to those that are visiting and will visit in the future.
A special heartfelt thank you goes out to those that think my art, stories, and photographs are worthy enough to be kept track of. Thank you Watchers and Lurkers.

Breaking radio silence just to DISAPPROVE!
Posted 17 years agoI find the new banner the FA mods have decided to put up highly offending. Not only is it in very bad taste, and caters to a single fetish , but it is insulting to fat people everywhere. As a fat person myself I feel this is an attack by FA upon my person.
I am afraid I will be observing radio silence until the mods decide to take it down. (AkA I'm not coming back until the Thanksgiving banner comes down.)

My Halloween.
Posted 17 years agoIt's officially that time of the year. Tonight the dark powers of evil come out in force to frighten and make merry. parents prepare their children for yet another night filled with worry and candy-driven stomach-aches.
The Trick'or'Treaters have officially begun their march upon the city. Having already stormed the local stores on Main Street earlier this afternoon, their sugar-driven obsessions has forced them to seek out more goodies that will have painful results within the next few months. (Actually cleaning of the teeth not included.)
While Halloween officially ends at midnight, and the hordes of costume clad adventurers have long left, I fear the spooks and hobgoblins don't will be up far past anyone's bedtime making mischief on the neighbors' lawns and yards. Already houses have begun to show signs of their visitations in the form of ghostly streamers and gloden ooze not far removed from toilet paper and egg yolks in appearance. What more, the local walls of the abandoned factories and rail stations have become more brightly decorated in colours of sprayed paints as the local cults come forth to defend their territories. (I think I hear the sound of their thunder sticks even now.)
As for me, I'm staying home, decked out in my Star Wars fancharacter, Dark Skull, watching funny horror, and mystery movies (such as Dracula: Dead and Loving It, Young Frankenstein, Sherlock Holmes, etc ) and Popeye. And I'm making sure not to answer the door if any wayward amateur 'suiters or cosplayers come knocking!
