OMG Hi!

I'm sorry I've been pretty much gone for some months, between irl vacations, health things, dr visits, etc. I've been a little busy. I've been drawing but mostly sketches and little things, but maybe I'll upload them as a mass upload or something haha

♥ Personal Stuff
I've finally gotten to a point in my ~15 years of diabetes where I won't need 3 month visits (not that I'm ashamed or saying that it was "so bad i needed to be in all the time" just that it's a HUGE milestone!!!) Still trying to figure out why I'm "fucked up" as I put it with hormones and everything else. Not pcos but something else apparently? Awesome!! But that's needing more dr visits.

♥ Art Stuff
I'm trying to get through my old and new queue while working on bigger things on the bg while trying to pump out newer things. I've started setting hard deadlines for myself to work on stuff as opposed to before when I'd just "do it." I've realized this old method just "ain't it." New method however? Working great lmao
Moving forward I'm going to be trying to limit time taken to do work (without sacrificing quality.) Trying single characters with a week to make a sketch after payment, finishing within the month, same for bigger things with maybe like a 1.5 month to finish depending on scale. Obv things happen but I will do my best to stick to this better (making paper lists, check lists, etc.)

♥ Game Stuff
Some of you may, or may not, know that I work for a small game dev group, making a game that's in the similar vein as Pokémon (monster collection aspect, but not pokeball style etc.) In particular I am an art director, sprite artist, and general creator. Once we've released a demo I'll be able to share my designs and art and I'm really excited for it ^^/

Thinking about running a "thank you" raffle once I get to 3k (combined FA and inkbunny) watchers!

I'm currently at 2926, which will still be a while (74 more.) But I want to do a fun raffle sort of thing for free art or maybe like free art and a discount on a commission or something. :3c

I thought about doing one at a certain # on either site however both numbers on their own are still very far off of the nice, round numbers I'd like to do.

I'm not trying to get watchers for this and won't even require watchers for this, but is a nice way to motivate myself to be more active. I've honestly had a lot of rough times recently, seeing accounts posting ai shit and having thousands of watchers in a matter of months etc.

Hi! I've been gone for what feels like forever, huh?
I've been very busy recently to the point that even art has stalled!

Firstly, it's been so hot until now that my office has been like a personal sauna, but I don't like working in a sauna 😂

Second, I started moderating for PixelJoint a while ago, working through submissions and stuff and have been obsessed with making pixel art since then. Thirdy, I've been in the process of moving for a few months into my gma's old house after she passed away in Dec, tho we paused all that when the weather started getting into the 80s and 90s. Now that it's mid to low 70s, we're back on that grind and trying to get everything in before winter. I think it's doable, just takes a lot of effort.

I've also been dealing with a lot of person stuff like health, mental health, etc issues. My endocrinologist has been made aware that I might have a thyroid issue, which would make sense given the rest of the issues I've had in the last few years. My levels have almost doubled from 2016 from like 2 to almost 5+ (I think, I can't remember.) This isn't important to art, but just to life 😂 However, my wrist pain has been a lot worse recently, which IS important to art. But I'll power through it.

Oh, also my birthday is on Sunday!! I'll be 31 🤩 I'll be with my family all day and my bf's the day before.

Other than that, I might have a few sketches or pieces of pixel art that could be uploaded here but will take a bit to go through. I'm resuming work on other commissions as well thanks to the temp being back down to manageable! Thanks for reading. ♥

Hi! I've been meaning to make a journal to take the place of my older more depressing journal. ^^;

But I'm making this journal due to some high temps that have been happening and I asked myself, why not just break when they happen?

My office is a small, enclosed space shut off from the rest of the house due to our cats not being allowed in the room. I have no AC (or heat for that matter) in my office which makes summer HORRIBLE. We're obviously not IN summer yet, but we've had a few mid 80s days that have been miserable!

I'm not going anywhere at the moment but as we move into summer down the road, I'll be going on a "vacation" of sorts. We're also going to be moving so it will be VERY temporary as we'll be moving into a house with central air.

If it comes to it, I'll make a journal about it ^^/

Also, I'm planning some charity streams in May but will also post more about those when it gets closer!

My gma had passed away Thursday, peacefully with my parents by her side.

I'm feeling more comfortable now, I think with her passing I'm more at ease with her not being sick, hurting, and unhappy. It was an incredibly fast decline in both mental and physical health and, in some ways, I'm glad it was fast. I can't imagine it taking a long time to happen and have her rot away in a home.

I'm back at working, helping to ease my mind but also feeling like a heaviness is lifted. I'm obviously sad at the loss, especially so for my dad. But I know she wouldn't want me to be depressed and sad, she'd just want me to laugh and remember the good times, which I've been doing with my parent's and friends.

I'll be posting some work I've done recently but will also be working on my owed art. ♥

Thank you for all the encouraging messages and kind words from my last, I appreciate it. This is my first time losing someone close to me like this.

As most of you have noticed, I've been a little MIA recently. I've been very stressed with some family stuff.

Without going too deep about the whole thing, for about a month or more my gma, who I've always been very close with, has been declining in health very quickly. From a broken rib to now being in hospice care, quick.

I've been trying to focus on work but it's just been hard, so I apologize. I'm working on stuff today to try and not think about it as much.
