We onboarded just over 1000 furries to Bluesky, prioritizing the furries that built us up, patrons of the artists, artists, and the broader furry community. Dragoneer received his invite on June 15th. We got a bit over 800 furs onto the platform in less than 2 months using a polling system, making our fandom one of the first dominant social clusters. Pinned in our group are the links to the Fursky Discord and the Furlist Bluesky feed.
It is my hope that Bluesky becomes a safe haven for the fandom as Twitter has not always been the best place socialize for the fandom and it has not been the safest option in recent days for the LGBTQA+ community.
I hope you find more peace of mind and friends in the days to come.
