I think, ....I should stop drawing. Because I have no any talent. The number of likes and follows proves this. This's what proves drawing skills and talent.

Well-drawn or talented drawings have high likes and followers. And people who draw well have a lot of likes and followers. And of course, other artists get that normally.

But, only not me. Not me...

Because I haven't talent, and stupid trash character design skill.

My character design skills are so terrible and worse.

I hate “All Furries Are Rich” meme.

What started as a joke somehow turned into a "fact" for some people. Now, anytime a furry character shows up — in a game, in art, wherever — the comments are full of nothing but furry jokes. Not thoughts on the design, not discussion, just “lol furry rich.” And honestly, it’s exhausting.

In the past, people might simply say a character looked cool or cute. But now, the first response often is, “Are you a furry?” Even when someone isn't a furry fan and just likes the design, such reactions can be frustrating and tiring. Can’t we just talk about a character without judgment?

Someone can says, “It’s just a meme, relax,” But I believe this trend needs to stop, and here’s why....


1. “Furry's fans commission tons of artwork.”
→ Not true. Like any other fan community, furry fans work within their budgets. They’re just regular people who save and spend money on what they love. Sure, there are some wealthy individuals — in every fandom — but they do not represent the whole.

Other fans spend hundreds of dollars on anime merchandise or kawii girl games. Furry fans aren’t necessarily spending more than others. This meme disregards the efforts of many fans who support their favorite artists with sincerity.


2. Drawing furries ≠ Success and Rich
You may have heard people say, “I started drawing furries and got way more commissions!” Of course, Drawing furry characters opens up new options and attracts different fanbases. It’s a sign of increased variety, not instant success.

There are already many artists drawing furry art. They work hard and face heavy competition like anyone else in the creative field. Drawing furries doesn’t guarantee success, it still requires talent, trying.

Also, the idea that all furry commissioners are wealthy is untrue. Most people save up to commission artwork from artists they love. Saying otherwise ignores efforts the artist and the supporter.


So...Why Do These Mistaken Happen?

Furry stands out because it’s outside mainstream tastes. That difference makes it easier to misunderstand or mock, especially when people aren’t familiar with it. That lack of understanding allows harmful stereotypes — like the “furry rich” meme — to spread unchecked.

The bigger issue is that even some popular furry artists and fans seem to embrace the “furry rich” meme as a joke, which ends up reinforcing the stereotype. It’s gotten to the point where even artists who aren’t part of the furry fandom join in — likely just for laughs. But this only creates more division among artists and fans, while shutting down genuine conversations and creativity.

If this meme continues, talking about the character or explore new creative possibilities will be drowned out.

I hope the “all furry are rich” meme fades away soon. What may seem like a joke to some can be a dismissive and hurtful comment to others.
