Figured since it's been forever I'd make a journal to give an update on how everything's been and such. :3

Kay, so not much has been happening with me work-wise, aside from my boss offering to work 3 days, which I just finished doing so now Im off for the rest of this year. x3

What're my plans? Uh...be lazy! xD Yeah, I don't really have a plan aside from that. Maybe do a stream or two and finish the remaining requests that I have left. But all that aside, I don't really have much set right now. Who knows?

Man, I'm glad it's Christmas though. Reminds me so much of when I was younger when I got to help set up the tree and everything...makes me feel all happy and warm inside like I was a little kid again, ya know?

Plus, 2015's around the corner. I bet you a list of us are ready for the new year to begin just to see what's in store for us. Hopefully, it'll be a better year than this one 'cause alot of stuff went down.

Hey, everyone. Joshi here with an idea that I've gotten just now about requests, so I wanna hear your opinions about this.

I know what with everyone here being around here in different timezones, it can be difficult to get a request or something considering they go by PRETTY damn fast, am I right?

So I was thinking with a buddy of mine...what if I made a request raffle or something? Ya know, so that way everyone's got a chance to grab a request.

Here's how it would work, so PLEASE read carefully. This might be long too so grab a snack or something.

- I'll make a journal about the request raffle on say...Monday, and say the raffle will be open in 4-5 days.

- So the raffle opens up on Thursday/Friday. I will make another journal those that want to enter, where everyone will have 24 hours to comment in said journal AND ONLY said journal to enter. If you note me or tell me via Skype or something, then I'm not gonna count it I'm afraid. Once you comment, you're in the raffle.

- Once the 24 hours are up, the raffle will be closed and anyone who didn't get in will have to wait 'til the next raffle (if I decide to do another). Then afterwards, I'll tally up the people who're in and then use RNG to pick 10 people out of that list. The 10 people that get picked will be able to get a request. Hey, everyone. I figured that I should finally put that old request journal and let ya know how I'm doing so far.

So far, everything's going pretty well. Working on the middle school for the summer since I could really use the money and such. The guys that work there are nice and funny too as well. I just have to be careful not to mess up too much 'cause the boss there won't like that.

Other than that, I've been doing fine. Some dudes' are coming to the apartment on Thursday to paint the place (mandatory), so I might not be around most of Thursday because of that..*shrugs* Not sure really.

On terms of drawing, I have been doing that, but I've moreso just been doodling. I have been contemplating about just putting them up in scraps but I dunno. What do you guys think?

Hello everyone. Joshi here posting an update about how things have been lately...and boy there have been a lot of things happening so you might wanna grab a chair.

Okay, so first thing I would like to get out of the way right now is my Last Pokemon Standing. If you've noticed I haven't really been posting anything about it for awhile. Weeell, this reason I haven't been is...really I bit off more than I could chew with drawing awhile ago, so I've realized that it might be hard to work on this with how unpredictable my motivation can be. Am I cancelling this project? For the moment, yes I'm afraid. Besides, it might be better for me to try and do simpler things first rather than just make a webcomic right off the bat, which I admit was a silly thing to attempt. Will the project come again in the future? Possibly, but that's depending on when.

Moving on, how's my life been? Well...where do I begin? ^^;

-My checkbook was stolen by someone while my aunt was at the car wash. She accidentally had left it in her car with a briefcase with the checkbook inside. The good news is I stopped the checks before the person would think of using them. Also, I happen to be getting a new book of checks some time this week hopefully.

-I only work for part-time whenever school's open. That being said, I have to find a job for the summer in order to pay bills and not get evicted because my rent is based on the amount of income I get. Dunno how I'll find one but I don't have much time so I've gotta find a summer job fast.

-Lastly, one of my bank accounts got closed due to a couple letters getting sent to my old address and being returned. Apparently, any returned letter is a $15 fee. I had 2 and I only had $3 in my account, so it got closed around April 2nd. At least the good news about this is it wasn't my 'bills' account and I can always re-open it if I need to.

So yeah, that's basically what's been going on from March til now. I'm not really happy about how all this has happened but...ah well. What can ya do, huh? I'm still trying to keep my spirits though. It'd be no good if I gave up now, would it?

Moving on to something more happy, a part of me been thinking about opening requests and trades again at some point (knowing my mojo, probably soon), but I dunno. If I do, I might make it a bit different. Like maybe colored inks for a request and full colors for a trade or something like that. Iunno. -3- The catch of it being you guys would probably have to be patient 'cause of how my motivation comes and goes and such. Maybe. Again, I'm thinking about it so don't hold your breath. =P

Hello, everyone. Figured it'd be time for a monthly update. Gonna see if I can try doing these again like I did awhile back, so here it goes.

Okay, well, so far my life's going pretty well so far. Work's been alright aside from all the snow. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love snow, but after awhile it gets annoying to walk through. 'Specially if it happens to slush (rain and snow at the same time) afterwards, making the snow have an icy shell on top. I'd complain more but nah. I'd be making it longer than I should be. I think aside from the snow, I've had to deal with a light bill a bit on Friday, but luckily I managed to've gotten that figured out with the help of my aunt.

Also, I apologize that I haven't been posting anything on here in a long while. It's not that I haven't been drawing anything, just I haven't felt like putting up anything really. Hopefully at some point I'll be able to post more stuff. Just not sure when. x3;

That right there, is a logo for a project that I've been working on since last Summer. What is this project that I speak of? Well, allow me to explain:

If you are familiar with the Survivor or Total Drama Island series, then imagine something like that but it's with Pokemon. Well, if you're interested in such an idea, then look no further! 20 Pokemon have been chosen to battle against each other in order to get a whopping 100,000,000 Pokedollars and bragging rights to be called: Last Pokemon Standing. And yes, that's also the title of what this series is going to be since I couldn't think up anything better. xD

And since this is the first season (unown if there'll be more, but just roll with it for now), the 20 contestants are gonna be 1st Gen Pokemon. Which Pokemon are in it though? Well, that's for me to know and for you guys to find out in due time. It's not entirely complete, but it's getting close. I just still need to work on some things here and there. But if I had to guess, I MIGHT be able to get everything ready by this Summer. Or at least that's what my goal is time-wise. I should also mention that this is going to be a comic. =P

Hey, guys. If I could have your attention real quick, I'd like for you to try and help a friend of mine out. Ya see, my buddy cevlock has recently moved into a brand new apartment with his roommate.

The problem is he needs some help getting settled in due to money troubles, so if you'd like to help out, he is currently taking color commissions for $20. Well, here we are. It's New Year's Eve and in about 9 hours, it'll be 2014.

How was 2013 for me? If I could describe it as best as I could, I'd probably say it was crazy.

Everything was going fine until last Summer, with my father passing away and all. I'll admit, I am happy that I managed to get a job as a custodian and even moved into an apartment for myself. Plus, my family's helping me out with any money issues, so I'm handling everything pretty good so far. At the same time, the trouble that came with it was just a hassle to deal with it.

However, I would like to thank everyone who's dealt with me and has stuck with me for whatever reason be it my art or something else. I don't think I would've been able to handle much if I didn't have any fans and friends to support me, so I greatly appreciate it.

So what could you expect for 2014? Well, I'm hoping to improve on my style some more for one. Like work on doing different poses, shading and highlighting, and whatever else comes to mind. I do have another thing in mind, but I plan on keeping that a secret until the time feels right. x3

Got nothing on there, but I guess what with it being a back-up, I might as well start using it more. Don't worry though, I have no intention of leaving FA. Trust me. =P

Also, I understand the downtime was unexpected, especially with how long it took to get the site back. And I'm sure some people who do commissions for a job or something were effected enough to move to other sites like Weasyl, SoFurry, deviantArt, and etc. 'Cause it's probably the best thing they can do to survive with real life. At the same time, you can't really complain if you know large FA is and the staff for taking so long.

I mean...if you were staff and you had to deal with messing with servers and hardware to move around submissions, notifications AND dealing with people complaining about them not getting the site back up fast enough, would you be handle that? I know there's no way I couldn't, but this is just my opinion.

Also, there's one thing to consider too: FA's not a perfect site..yeah I said it. Heck, if you can really look at it like this, there's no such thing as a perfect site. Every site has an issue that people just can't get past 'cause of whatever reason that comes up. But ya know, despite that, as long as FA's free for everyone to commune with and whatnot I don't care if FA has downtime like this every year or so. And if you feel the same way, then that's good to know. Just, ya know, even if the downtimes are unexpected, learn to plan something about in advance when it happens again.

Phew...I believe that's everything I needed to get out. Sorry that this is long but felt like I needed to get my point across. If ya don't agree with it, I'm fine with that, but I'm still sticking with what I said.

After hearing the opinions from the people who commented/talked to me about it, I think it might be best if I sadly drop the requests.

I mean, while I hate to do this, I'm not really in the mood to get the remaining requests done. So again, I'd like to apologize for this.

I guess another reason would be that I'd like to experiment some things on my own with my art 'cause I've been thinking of trying to get better with drawing traditionally.

So maybe, once that and everything else that's happening to me in real life settles down enough, I'll re-open.

As you've noticed, I...haven't really been posting much art lately and I haven't really been working on requests much either. The reason being has been for reasons such as me trying to get a part-time job, trying to move into a new house, or I just haven't really been in the mood to lately 'cause of all that's been happening.

And..while I do wanna draw more, I...think I might bit more than I could chew with requests. As much as I don't like saying that, I'm...not sure what to do exactly. I wanna get 'em done, but I haven't really had the motivation to do 'em lately, which I feel real bad for and I greatly apologize for that. Although this is where you guys could come in.

To those that have request pending or to anyone in general, what should I do? Should I work on the rest of the requests left or would it be okay to just stop with requests for now? I know that's in my say that goes last, but I just really want your opinions 'cause I feel bad doing this. ^^;

Firstly though I'd like to thank everyone who gave their condolences and everything to me with my father passing away and everything. For how things are gonna go in the future, we'll have to see, but for now I'm keeping my head up. But again, I thank you all for showing you guys care and all~ ^^

Now, onto the main part of the journal, the requests. x3

Now I think this time I'm gonna do this a bit differently, so listen up and read below carefully, okay?

Instead of doing the pictures digitally, I'm gonna try and get these done traditionally. That means I'm using my sketchbook, a pencil, a marker, and crayons to do your requests. Reason being I still wanna experiment on coloring and everything, so doing this might help.

Now, you guys gotta do is tell me what you guys want. Although, you've gotta have a reference, rather it be a picture or at least a brief description of your character. Note that I said 1 which means I'm only doing one character per picture for now. Also, if the idea involves a background, a foreground, or both, you also gotta tell me what kind you want as well to help me get a better idea of how the pic goes.

And just to keep this as a heads-up, not to sound mean, but I do have a right to deny the idea unless there's a way we can negotiate with it. There are things I'm not willing to draw out of discomfort and such, so keep that mind please.

Anyway, I believe that's all I have to explain on this thing. Just gonna let ya know that I'm gonna accept 5 at a time. I'm gonna see if I can get 'em done in a week so anyone who didn't get a chance this week will get one next week possibly. Just keep in mind that once you get a pic you can't get one next week. Hey, everyone. Joshi here. I'm here to give an update on what's been going along with something recently tragic as well.

I...guess I should mention that...earlier today, my father, fighting with liver cancer along with hepatitis C and psorosis, finally kicked the bucket...*sigh*...I think I'm still in shock with how it down but...you know, I'm glad that at least he's in a better place right now and everything..and he died in peace.

What's gonna happen to me now? Um...good question. My mom died to breast cancer back when I was 11, so I'm pretty much living on my own with help from my aunt right now. I'll have to keep you guys updated on what's gonna happen with me later on 'cause I just don't know the answers right now.

Um...I guess if there's a bright side to this, I've been having a part-time summer job as a camp counselor for a group of kids. The work's been alright so far and the kids've haven't been much of a handful I think.

But..I guess with that I'll end part 1 of my updates for now or something...feel free to comment below or whatever.

Yeah, it's been a long while since I've done an update I think. Figured now'd be a good time as any to do one. Keep in mind, this may take a bit, so feel free to grab a snack or whatever and come back. =P Ready? Okiedokie. x3

So, to start off, for the moment I'm now off on summer break from now until some time in September. What's that mean between me and you? Well, for starters, I'm gonna try and post more stuff on here 'cause it's been forever since I've done so 'cause of college and stuff. So prepare to see more pictures from me over the summer. Perhaps more streams, too.

This also goes into my next subject. Now..I haven't really been mentioning this to everyone, but since around March, I've been working on making a webcomic of my own and such. What's the webcomic about? Well, for the moment, it's a secret to me anyone else who knows(it'd be advised to not tell 'em either). However, if you like TDI or Survivor, the comic might be up your alley. As of right now it's still in production, but whenever I get to a certain point, I'll put up more information about what exactly I'm working on.

With that being said, I'm also gonna see if I can try and find a time to open up requests and trades again. 'Cause it's fun to draw up stuff from your ideas (if we can come to an agreement about it anyway). And heck, maybe I'll do something involving the previous topic above. We'll see. =P

Next thing I've got is that, yesterday, I re-got OC on my laptop. So now if anyone wants to join me in an OC then I'd be alright with that. It's been awhile since I've used Hamachi, I might need help with that first before we can, just to keep in mind. x3;

Yes, the title was partially for nostalgic purposes, but that's beside the point..

So apparently there's a hacker running around FA making the users block their friends and then make them get banned for it or whatever.

...See here what I find funny about this whole thing. The whole day, FA's been quiet what with it being Sunday and such. I walked away from the laptop for about an hour to rest and make some food for myself. All of a sudden, I come back to journals saying stuff out said hacker.

...Yeah, that's kinda suspicious if you ask me. I mean, if there was, wouldn't Dragoneer or some other admin've said something relating to it? And as far as it seems to be to me, it sounds like it's just a rumor. Nothing more, nothing less.

Granted, if there's actually a hacker around and shiz, I'll take back my opinion and apologize. But until further notice, I do not believe this at all. I call this a hoax of someone who just wants to pull everyone's leg for a joke and cause drama.

Sorry if I sound like a jerk, but I just can't believe all this until there's something clear about this whole thing.
