Furry Fun at the Fair.
Posted 16 years ago The Kansas State Fair needs a furry I thought to myself yesterday, so I brought my fursuit with me just in case they would allow it. They did, and when it stated to cool off in the evening, I changed into my suit.
I was a big hit with the crowd (kids and grown ups alike), the fair staff, and with the Deputy Sheriffs. Only one person, that I heard, said "look, a furry!". That's Kansas for you, it needs to catch up as far as the furry fandom is concerned.
Visiting the bunnies and chickens was the most amusing event for me. I got a lot of crazy, and the well known puns told to me as I ventured around what foxes would steal and eat from a farm.
I mingled around the games at the carnival for a while. It took about 30 minutes just to walk about 100 feet. Everyone wanted a picture with me. But shortly after dark is when I wanted to call it quits. A cute and friendly fox may look a little scary to some kids in low light (it is to be expected, I have seen children become scared of Mickey Mouse at WDW in the day time).
I got my tail pulled by some playful children, but I had the best time ever at a Kansas State Fair.

Furry Con Memories.
Posted 16 years agoThree fur cons in three months, not bad for someone who works too much. Ever since I got my new and first fursuit, I have had a lot of catching up to do and I have no intention of slowing down any time soon! If you want to see all of my 2009 AC, RMFC, and MFM pics, here is a link:

Maybe you will find a pic of yourself or someone you know.
My next stop is Oklacon!
