General | Posted 6 years agoI got a notification from Youtube awhile ago. I basically had to say whether or not my channel is made for kids. Well though I can't really say it's for kids, because well while I'm sure someone might be interested in what I make (cause dinos and monsters) their is a lot of violence in my videos though rarely have it ever gotten Gorey at all (at least not yet.) . TBH I'm not seeking to make money with the channel. Rather it's a passion of mine and something I love doing. Making vids on youtube based on stuff like Primal Rage, and kaiju and monsters gives me a chance to share my childhood fascinations that have carried well into adulthood and I get to express myself in such a way. ^_^
I don't know what future will happen come December, but hopefully something about this gets addressed soon. Especially for those who choose to make money from there vids. =3=;
As for Sonic's new design I love it. He's much better animated, really well done, even if the movie ends up being crap I'll watch it out of pure support! because they're one of the few companies that actually listen to feedback without being obnoxious and passive aggressive. Which is odd cause surely some people had to go to college or at least understood something of taking critique right? any who.
On PKMN Sw/Sh. I am kinda bummed about all the old pok'emon we're not gonna be geetin' I'm gonna miss Salamence and Aggron, at least Charizard's in it. Though I feel sad for him now cause his starter buds from gen 1 won't be able to join him. Still I've seen some of the designs of the new ones and so far I like what I see. Might see some new faves for sure.
I know Gamefreak really f'd up, but I've been hearing fans were so mad as to want to get it banned from the US?..IDK that seems WAAYY too harsh of a punishment. Isn't just not buying the game enough of a punishment? granted I can understand wholeheartedly where people are coming from, but STILL, that could have a nasty snowball effect, at least that's something I'm a bit concerned about. Despite the controversy I hope no pok'emon in Gen 8 end up being despised because of what's happened. Either way if you decided to buy the game and try it, hope it's fun for you. :>
I won't be saying much else beyond that. Usually I draw vent-art and type, but maybe next time I'll get into that habit a bit more. ^U^

General | Posted 6 years agoMy older brother is now staying at my house due to the fact he was forced out of his apartment. I'm a bit frustrated at this, given that the guy doesn't always respect my concerns, but I'm hoping he will be considerate in this case. unfortunately him being here is gonna make productivity difficult ._.; So I apologize for any lowered activity
So why has leezord not been doing much lately?
General | Posted 6 years agoFor the lat couple of days alot has been happening. My sister who has been visiting for awhile has had some folks over, a friend of mine came to visit, celebrating nephew's bday and also trying to get a job at this multimedia place that's in town.
However I do have a slight hint of stress on myself lately. My older brother who is about to be kicked out of his apartment soon needs to find a place to stay he's thinking of asking my mom (who is my landlord) about staying at my house. I know damn damn well he doesn't always get along with his wife and their kid cries...alot and he can mess with stuff. There's more than just that, but I think he'd only add a bit more stress than what's going as of now.
Not only that, but my niece, who's usually a pretty decent person has kinda gotten a little uppity ever sense she's been using mom's car while she and dad were up and grandpa's funeral. Anyway she absically just dropped mom's dog here so he wouldn't be by himself. Even so it's annoying as hell and the way she's been acting has been gettin' on my nerves.
Also last night some friends were visiting my sister, it was hard to sleep last night because they were varying something called.."snipes" something to do with cigarette buds, apparently those don't need to be lit to stink up a section of the house. My room even smelled like cigarette smoke so it was hard to breathe a bit and made sleeping difficult.
It's really complicated that's all I can say.

General | Posted 6 years agoI wanna say something: Though I prefer to draw, right now my hands a bit sore from attempting it, so I can only type it.
I know I don't always reply often like I should (even though I do actually enjoy chatting.) But I wanna say guys thanks for the support, it helped my spirits a bit. This week went to heck pretty fast for me. With my chest freezer running (yet not working) and the sewer problem (which was fixed thankfully) and of course ya know, with what happened to my grandpa on mom's side.
It took a bit, but I feel like I've made piece with losing him. It took a bit of thinking, but considering he likely may of died of old age and the fact he hanged on for alot longer than people were expecting, he went down fighting, but he also went out in piece. I admit, when I got the news he was dying I was upset and scared for a bit, but part of me wanted to believe he'd come back from the brink cause it seemed like that always happened.
Admittedly I never got the chance to see him often, considering when my parents go up to visit relatives up north they usually prefer to go alone, but the time I did spend there meeting them it was a great experience. He had alot of spirit for a guy his age. In that same way reminded me of my grandfather on my dad's side, who despite the years of drinking like a fish which had worn him down, when he was able to step out and see us, he made one of the funniest jokes I've ever herd.
I don't mean to sound cheesy or anything, but that's probably the best memories I'll have of them respectively.
As hurt as I have been feeling, I can't possibly feel the same level of pain my mom must be having...Still I do hope this doesn't push her down on the deep end considering all that's been happening.
Anyway thanks guys for giving me and Justathereptile some well wishes. I appreciate it!
Leezord may not feel 100 percent, but still happy to have friends like you guys!

General | Posted 6 years agoI got a text from my mom not long ago. 2019 has taken away the last of my grandfathers....RIP grandpa. Seems like every year family keeps dying. I should be used to it by now, but I don't think I ever could be...

General | Posted 6 years agoSo it comes around..2018 robbed me of my uncle. The year before took my grandfather and two of my great aunts, each respectively on both sides of the family. Now it seems 2019 has come to take away my grandfather on my mom's side.
He's always had alot of fighting when it comes to his life. He's been admitted to hospital who knows how many times. From what mom told me, he was supposed to die last night, but he stuck around. There's a part of me that has hope that he'll fight this and get 5-10 more years, but that's just wishful thinking...

General | Posted 6 years agoHey guys got a call from my mother. She mentioned that my sister is moving back up here after spending time in Texas (not going into details but it involves legal shit) so she's allowed to come back. However there's a chance that the landlord of my older brother may not approve and in that case she's gonna be back here with Justa and I. According to my mom she'll be here for a "short while." Keep in mind I don't really have much trust in her especially after all the stuff she did before. I've been one to be called paranoid but tbh it gets even worse considering I have no idea what my sister might be pulling while my back is turned.
Also because I expect her to be moving about frequent it could impact on my progress on taking commissions, so I apologize to all of you and ask for your patience 'w';;
Now mom suggested to set ground rules, but I don't know if she'll follow them or not ._.; I hope the land lord will approve of her moving back in with my older brother. So..wish us luck..
