2014 Honda Civic Coupe
Posted 12 years agoI saw the new designs Honda gave the Civic Coupe back from the SEMA Auto Show and they make it more special than the 2013 model. Here's a 360 view of the EX-L model at the the recent LA Auto Show.
Life Update
Posted 12 years agoHey guys! Here's what I've been up to lately.
My semester is coming to an end and I'm certain I will pass all of them. I find it crooked how the campus gives you book money, only to pay them back by buying new overpriced books. Instead, I just bought used ones. I was quite happy getting an A for a paper about logistics in tourism and hospitality. As many of my friends know, that was always my area.
My mom is recovering quite rapidly from a minor stroke she had last month. Knowing how fatal those can be, I was glad she was able to say her side had shut down. It's true about hard times showing you what you're made of.
As for arts, I finally have my PayPal set up, but I need to do some other things first before I can do commissions.
Hope y'all enjoy the holidays!

Congratulations, Hawaii!
Posted 12 years agoYou just became the 15th state to legalize gay marriage! There's still a lot of work to be done for the 33 other states, but this is still a an important accomplishment. As I read about this, the famous Lilo & Stitch quote came to my mind:
"Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind, or forgotten."

Life Update
Posted 12 years agoOut with summer, in for fall!
Classes are back in session and that means less time for FA, but I can work around that. It'd be great if my school didn't take so long with our book money because it sets us back in our classes.
As for arts, I'm improving with tablet drawing as it becomes more and more effortless. Currently I work in GIMP, but I can't wait to get Paint Tool Sai cause they have unique techniques. I'm also in the middle of completing some arts I owe a few. I apologize for the long wait X3
That's it for this cowboy. See ya!

Boiled
Posted 12 years agoI know it's nothing new hearing about the
I was listening to the audio to this show and they were going on about how being gay was something to be cured of. I already can't stand most Christian stuff already, but what makes me boil inside is how these so-called Christians think that gay people are inferior because they happen to like someone of their own gender or multiple genders.
Oh, and don't even get me started on the people who were on there. Probably some of the most fake and pathetic "Christians" I have ever seen. Some have even called themselves 'ex-gays' The people on that panel wouldn't know what unconditional love is if it penetrated their ugly, hate-filled asses. NO ONE should have to be ashamed of who they are because of other people's hangups and bullshit.
I can't count how many times I heard them refer to homosexuality as a lifestyle. IT'S NOT. And even if being gay was a choice, so what? People choose to be bigots, yet they get married. How the fuck is that? If parents have gay children, SUPPORT THEM! Let them know that they are loved and deserve to be celebrated and happy, like any of their peers.
I had to vent because I've had enough of this. How about you?

Andrea Doria Anniversary 7.25.13
Posted 12 years agoToday it is 57 years since the sinking of the 1953 Italian ocean liner, SS Andrea Doria off Nantucket. The liner was a symbol of post-war Italy and was much like the Titanic - focused on luxury and prestige, rather than speed.

Museum Visit
Posted 12 years agoThis past week I had visited the Dallas Museum of Art downtown and it felt good to be in an urban scene after so long. And best part is I went by train - also a first in a VERY long time. And I said to my dad as we were walking down the street that we have got to do this more. I tell ya, it feels refreshing to escape the quiet bores of suburbia and the sensational hysteria on the news to really enjoy what's out there.

Sick of School
Posted 12 years agoI failed my final exam today which I'm at fault for cause I didn't study enough. School never was very interesting to me especially when I haven't had much real world experience. It has also become a bore because I don't get out much.
I thought about taking a break from school to get into that aviation maintenance program. It makes a good opportunity to get some EXPERIENCE outside the stuffy classroom. As for the class I failed, the best thing to do is learn from it and move on.
You don't gain points, you gain knowledge.

Illuminati Bullshit
Posted 12 years agoWho else finds those conspiracy theories just plain stupid? I see them everywhere! My mom thinks Beyonce and Jay-Z are part of the Illuminati and it's driving me crazy! And it's not just them. What's with everybody? It's like people choose to see what they want to see and completely ignore what right in from of them.
*exhales* I know I can't control what others think, only myself, but it's just getting ridiculous and annoying.
