As some of you may know, my trip to Hawaii was only supposed to be a week long and ended up being closer to a month and a half long. After a lot of events that happened while I was there, and a true desire to get out of the middle of frozen over snow-packed hell, I have decided to move to Hawaii.

A few of you saw this coming I am sure, others will be shocked knowing how much I longed to return to Boston, but I assure you this has come after a lot of thought.

I am a photographer. I was offered a job by a well known west coast photographer who is based out of Honolulu. Once I graduate College (in may) I will start working for this photographer. For the first 2 years (at least) I will be based out of the Honolulu studio, then the option comes up for me to move back east to a studio he is currently setting up. I am excited for this opportunity, and glad to be going into my senior year of college with the "gotta find a job" weight lifted off of my shoulders.

There is more to the move then just the job however. I went out to see a friend who means the absolute world to me. We met over 4 years ago in another country and have been very close ever since. When I went out to see him, I found "home" for the first time in a long time. I fell seamlessly into a group of friends who are now like a family to me and I loved every second I was out there.

You know how for most people vacations far away are great but they reach a point that they really just want to go home? Its not that they don't like the time off, but they miss things like their own bed and not having to spend money? I never got that feeling in Hawaii. As a matter of fact, I have found myself feeling homesick on more the one occasion since I got back, for Hawaii.

This is not to say I love Boston or my friends out here any less. I still love you all, I just need this change for me. You can all come visit me out there anyway :P lol

I cannot wait to go back to Hawaii, and if everything goes right, this time next year, I will be home <3

I actually have time to check on things here on FA for the first time in several weeks. First of HI! It feels like its been forever.

College ended a little over a week ago, my marks are in and I managed to pass 18 credits while working in the news room 30 hours a week (yeah, no time to sleep let alone be online much). I managed a 3.5 GPA for the semester and feel really accomplished. I'm taking 3 summer classes and have one more year left and I'm done! So excited to be going into my final year :D

Life in general has been up and down (for the 3 of you who actually read this: I'm doing ok). Things did not turn out the way I was planing for them to this summer, but I could not be happier. I just got back from a trip to Montreal, which I left on after just getting back from Mt. Washington and spending my last weekend with Marc for a few weeks (more on him later). I've been all over the place since finals got out and its not stopping soon. I start work next week, but in July, I head to Hawaii for two weeks, and in September I have VIP all access passes to see AFI, Fall Out Boy, and Blink 182 in Chicago at the Riot festival this year :D Travel, concerts, and adventures with friends, I could not ask for a better summer :D Did I mention I payed off my car? Completely? Yep, the beautiful red Alero I posted pics of back in october is now fully in my name . shes such a good car <3

Love- This is where I come back to Marc. Yeah, I used the L word again. Its been a long time. Marc and I have been together for a few months now, and its going great. He went home to Mass about a week ago, and I miss him like crazy, but will be visiting later this summer. If you want more details then that, PM me. :P

and finally Pokemon. After my DS went missing when I moved out of my ex's apartment a little over a year ago I haven't had the money to replace the system (which cost around $120) when I only played a few games on it. In moving a few boxes with Marc, I found my old Gameboy advanced SP, and pokemon leaf green. I have to say, I LOVE that game. and have been playing it like a 10 year old ever since. am I the only one who gets seriously addicted to games I used to play as a kid? As much as I would like my old DS back, I've given up hope on it finding its way home, but i'm quite happy with Leaf Green and my old Pokemon Yellow special Pikachu version :)

I would go on rambleing but I have not been home in over a week and my cat is demanding attention. I will be on more frequently over the next few months so feel free to PM me :)

Life has been crazy busy these past few weeks. I'm spending upwards of 10 hours a day in the studio, which is great, but I still have 6 other classes and homework to juggle around all of that. *sigh sleep is much needed but this semester is turning out to be one of those "you can sleep when it's over" semesters.

Sleep might happen over spring break when I head south :) a good friend of mine unfortunatly broke with his gf recently, and asked me to go to a concert with him this weekend to help him get over it. He already has the tickets (VIP idiot nation passes to green day this sat night). I can't wait, he's been living out in Ohio for the past year and it will be great to see a good show with him. I get to go from the show with him to my place in Boston for the rest of the week and then back north for the final weeks of semester.

In short, I will probably be just as absent for the next few weeks as I have been these past few. I might get to log on after exams before summer classes and my inter ship start up. I hope everyone here is doing well :D

I am very excited to note that I will be going home to Boston for my 22nd birthday this year. I happen to have that week off, so I will be heading down mid week and coming back the following Monday.

I have once again loaded up my semester, this time with 22 credits, assistant directing the college production of Company! and devoting 40-60 hour a week to the newsroom, I am gong to be one drained kitten at the end if this stretch.

The good news is that all of this puts me where I need to be to complete my internship next summer, though I'm still not sure if it will take me to Cali, Boston, DC, or Montreal.

This summer is moving along well, I'm loving this between MA and Rutland VT thing. I have also had the opportunity to reconnect with someone very dear to me (<3) I'm happily enjoying life right now.

Looking back on the last few months, I'm sure there are people on here that no longer have a high opinion of me because of how things ended with some people. I also have no doubts that some of what was said on both sides was wrong. However to those that choose to believe the worst in me: Its your loss. What has happened, happened for a reason, and though it sucked, I'm over it. I've moved on, and I hope that all of you can to.

In other news, I will be heading back to college in the fall, though I might commute to and from the Rutland area on weekends, it all depends on how things go here. I'm trying not to rush things like I have in the past. At least this time, I've known my companion for several years and not just a few short months.

I have been through a lot in the past two weeks and want to thank everyone who has supported me and cared for me in that time. From needing a new place to live to health issues and the death of close friend as well as the Challenging situation involving one of my friends and her abusive relationship. those of you who have been there and supported me through it all I am forever grateful. thank you to all of my friends on here for giving me a shoulder to cry on and a place to feel safe. it means a lot to both  Zanner and myself.

In brighter news NYC here I come ( again) on sat I will venture to NYC for a day of reset and some meetings. hopefully it will pull me out of this slump.

Many of you know that I injured my hand back in September. It was supposedly broken, then it wasn't, I had to wear a sudo cast and then a funky "spider-man brace" and most importantly I couldn't draw or write for well over a month. I got it looked at by several doctors including ones at Dartmouth and even had an MRI after all the tests I got a call today.

so the verdict is in: I cracked the bone in my hand under my tendon,( which means I actually DID break it) It seems to be healing fine so as of right now no surgery. I have to stay in brace through Christmas and need a re-check before I can go back to work but at least I have an answer now.

Hey guys as most of you know I broke/injured my dominant hand at work over a month ago. Tomorrow am I have an appointment to get an MRI and get it looked at by and hand specialist.

Hopefully I can soon pick up my pencils and begin sketching again. I miss it like CRAZY. You can ask my Mate  zanner how suborn i have been trying to draw... its not working out well but at least i'm doing something.

The Ass-hat who is responsible for this took away a lot more then a month of pay, he took away my ability to draw, and for that I hate him.

so once again today my boobs made the main topic of conversation. What is it with people and my boobs? ga!
I had a friend tell me today " I missed you, I missed your boobs more but I missed you too. If I am dieing of cancer I want to kill myself by suffocating on your boobs"

seriously guys, Its flattering and all but I'm not just my chest! please respect that. If I'm note dating you I don't want you thinking of what you want to do on or with my breasts. It's not ok to continuously ask if you can touch them or tell me you want to grope me when my boyfriend isn't around. IT IS NOT OK.

So please, keep your eyes on my face and your mind out of the gutter ( or at least your hands off of me)

Out of the blue this old song popped into my head last night. I used to have a deep connection with it. Now, I just think it is very pretty. The work is not mine, though I don't know anyone who knows where it came from.

I have been feeling really unsettled recently. I'm not sure where this motivation to constantly be on the move is coming from. I'm feeling very restless and am having a really hard time focusing on the here and now. Its hard because I will get to the point that I have to move, and when I get to the next location, I just want to move again. It's really frustrating. Once again, AFI can explain it better then I can.
