Posted 8 years agoI have excellent news, and news that's excellent for hopefully all of us.
I found a school I'm very passionate about, and I'm able to get in. I've looked over the bursaries and loans, and I can afford it by the skin of my buckteeth.
But it's really, really, really by the skin of my buckteeth. I'm going to be hustling everything I can in order to avoid having to destroy myself with obtaining a part-time job on top of studying a difficult field.
I really enjoy writing these short stories, and drawing characters in various forms of release is almost therapeutic to me. Some might even say it's a relief hehueheheuheuheheehh

On Writing
Posted 8 years agoSo I'm hoping to gather a small following over time. It's two parts writing-what-I-want and one part listening to see what people want to read. I've always been on my own with my own elaborate fantasies, but I would be curious to hear about the sort of things others are interested in.
Of course, one partial failing of mine was putting in too much focus on what other people want all the time. I need to remind myself I'm not always going out there just to please others. I can do what I want.
That said, I'm open to request-commissions. I'm starting small since I am starting out, and still finding my footing.
I want to do something experimental as far as commissioning goes. Instead of charging by word count or page count, I want to charge by specifics.
3$ for specific characters or character species
another 3$ for location of choice
Maybe another 3$ for how specifically you'd want things to end, etc.
I may fix up something like a ... sushi menu of options, check off what you want, that sort of thing. I'm just shooting ideas at 4am right now.
I should be going to bed and here I am making lists for future fics. This is where my life's at right now.
