I've organized things for the next year, set down some structures to ensure I tackle the workloads, and also the mass amount of holidays has come to an end. Finally.

I got the writing programs opened and the client list dusted off, I'm going to try and get over my own Random Social Anxiety on here and get active once again! I'm hoping to achieve a name change by the end of this january, and to do so, I'll need to make a good bundle of cash on the aside. Both for the initial application, and probably to afford the various updated cards/passports/etc as a result of the change that will happen down the line.

THEM HOLIDAY FEELS.

I got ya'll Notes, and I have a few orders on the slow-burn right now. Winter is the Absolute Worst to me and my ability to get anything done. I can't promise -when- I'll be back on, just that I'll be back on when I can. Maybe in January? I'm doing a lot of background maintenance/management, especially on the working-artist front. One of these things is getting my proper actual name change finalized. Doing that will unlock a lot of doors and paths I can follow, such as registering as an actual business (and as a result, be able to file business expenses to make my life a whole lot easier.)

In exciting news though, I managed to nab some more art classes to help improve on what I can do, it's just a matter of patience! And staying alive.

So far so good!

I think at this point I'm loosely known for random bursts of productivity, only to be swept off into the nether-realms of radio silence without warning. I'm still kicking! I'm just also juggling a bajillion other projects. For those waiting on me and wanting more art/writing done soon, I hella plan to be back on it ASAP. Physio and some minor medical shenanigans have been taking up some of my art-hustle nights. I'm in the process of trying to streamline that whole work-life-porn balance.

So anyway this is me making a sign of life and being annoyed that I have to do things like sleep. It's a new month and new bills rear its heads; can't wait to slay that hydra with more art.

HELLO WORLD I return from yet another sporadict fit of a hiatus.

ADHD has this amazing thing called Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria, which sometimes tricks my brain into thinking that Everything Is Terrible and it takes me a while to unpack that mess. I know it's lies from the Brain-Demons, but it still takes a lot of time to pick apart and rebuild.

That said, I've switched from full time work to Part Time work, with the explicit intent to do more art. Thus begins a new era of ... Whatever this is.

Commissions still open! I'm going by the rate of 15$ an hour, with my current baseline basic-drawing being a probably $60 piece. I'll fix up an actual commissions-rate page at some point. We're still scrubbing off the rust here.

And the best way to do that is to get drawing already, so here we go.

I'll be running around in the woods with wizards and swordsmen this weekend. Art commissions/auctions/etc will be handled on my return on monday!

So I started this ADHD medication in about ehhhh three weeks ago or so.

I'm still working on commissions; school's shoving some exams right around this week so I'm a bit more sparse on this site. My current project is at about half done with two major scenes still missing. I have no idea when it will be done but I'll be picking at it when I can between ensuring my own sanity and grades are keeping up.

So after the sheer amount of commission requests I do get, I found that often details can either slip through the cracks (or be spread out over 30+ PMs with some persons), and I often find myself also asking the same questions over and over. So!

Letting you all know: I've finally quit my job.

I'll be taking a few days to re-adjust, before school starts up and throws a whole new schedule at me. It'll be a bit before I can adjust my life-schedule and get back in the flow of things, but I'll be back at working on commissions as soon as I can. I'll pick at them here and there: for now, I'm going to take a few days to completely crash and pleasantly burn. Over one year of working as a game tester has left me utterly wiped. Generally, I'll try to give first-priority to Patreon supporters... Followed by whoever was the next one to order. It's not entirely accurate just yet as I haven't gone through the backlog of my Notes, but I'm getting there. I'm almost done the third written commission. I'm plodding along bit by bit.

I've been pretty loose with my style on here but I wonder if people would be interested in super-refined/detailed art commissions like these. They'd be expensive though, compared to the other sketches I do. But hey; important marketing thing, actually ask your audience what they want.

Worse comes to worse I'll probably just do different levels of commissions here; clean lines and designs at full price and then looser scriblings at cheaper. Maybe I ought to go by an hourly rate. Hmm.

I wish bodies didn't get exhausted so I could keep doing art and writing forever.
