Do you like the way i currently draw characters or should I do something differently? I've been wondering because I've noticed the more popular art in the furry community seems to be of characters with really ridiculous proportions like huge butts, thighs, and breasts. Super "thicc" curvy people regardless of gender, males with asses as big and round as overweight females or genitals super large and veiny. I've never really drawn it myself as it was never really my thing, I mean I don't hate it but it never made much sense for em to do it since my characters in particular given their profession, it wouldn't make sense for them to carry that much mass even while fictional. I just wonder why art directions seem to be shifting that way and if i should too.

I know there's still some out there that do fit athletic builds but thees no way i can compete with their perfect anatomy skills. I just wonder what you all think I should focus on or maybe what do you watch me for in general.

I don't know what it is about her in particular but people really seem to either want her or her own version or something. So much so they are willing to steal her without asking (i guess thats what stealing is).
So first person used an old picture of her as an icon and a base for his character. I got informed by a site admin someone was using a recolored picture of the rant picture as their character. The person in question did later on ask me to use it and i was fine as long as it was temporary. now we are friends and he soon wants my help with a redesign. ok cool thats resolved.

Second instance was a few months ago i was browsing spider characters on DA and i thought i found some fan art or something but no it was an "original" character that looked exactly like narcanna just with green eyes. literally same hair style,arms,eye placements, even the feet shape. of course the person gave no credit to the design. i had to ask the person kindly for some credit, but the person swore up and down he/she never hear or seen narcanna before. http://img02.deviantart.net/6092/i/.....ex-dahfshs.jpg

Ill tell you now I've NEVER made an F-list before and I currently have no intentions of making one. Roleplay is just not for me. But that doesn't give people permission to make a gross kink list of my characters. I feel like thats very disrespectful and one of the reasons why I'm so strict with who uses my characters. I didn't even get asked. So what ever happens from someone using my character could potentially be aimed at me with people online thinking I let him do that. if you have an F-list account could you do me a solid and report him for em.

Anyway please at least ask me if you wanna use my character for something or give credit for inspiration if you make a character looking like one of mine, thats all I ask.

I don't talk about video-games much but god damn man i have to talk about this right here. if you just watched the show and you like the system, congrats I'm glad you can enjoy something i can't but now ii wanna talk about real quick why this heavily disappointed me. like i can't even react big enough with words to describe how disappointed i am.
let me run down this real quick.

*2 launch games... zelda breath of the wild (which is also on wii u) and some dumb rock paper scissors looking game you play in real life with friends... and its 2 player only.

*Splatoon 2, which literally looks exactly like the first game. if they didn't put the logo at the end i kid you not id think it was an expansion for the Wii u version.

*Xenoblade 2 which is good but no release date

*A bunch of jrpgs, mixed on them and fire emblem which was a teaser so might be out 2018

*OMFG a new MARIO GAME! ....in holiday 2017

*and i think mario kart 8 where they didn't explain what was new except for one character.

OK wanna talk specs? well there is none so we don't know how strong it is, so far it was around the same as Wii Us prowess.

Now lastly on to the details, Motion controls are back! remember how much you loved that? the joycons are basically mini wiimotes. Its got a powerful long lasting 2.5 hour battery life!
It has 32gb of internal storage for all those huge AAA games. No CD drive so no WII U or Wii games can be played on it. Heres my favorite part, paid online! you know the thing people praised nintendo for never doing? welp... now their doing it, remember how smooth and great wii and wiiUs online was with games like smash bros having to load in the middle of fights... you get to pay for that now but you get 1 free Nes or Snes game though!

Alright sarcasm aside... i don't know what the hells wrong with Nintendo lately. this thing to me has zero appeal like... negative appeal. and this is right after Microsoft lost their damn minds cancelling scalebound and having half the year with small throwaway titles no one cares about. Man not to sound like a fanboy but they just threw this generation to Sony and PC.

Hey everyone long time no see. Hope everyone had fun over the last week. Lets get right into it.

So I've been thinking... I feel like I've been letting a lot of people down over the years, Art has been slowing to a crawl, I barely talk to people on here, my picture quality is uber inconsistent, I just wasn't feeling it.
The last 4 months in particular for me was quite a low point, especially in real life. I was quite depressed with myself, I let it drag me down to the point where i just didn't want to do anything, i just wanted to lay around and waste away. it was really dragging everything down that wanted to work on.

Well this year I hope to change all that. Already for the last few days I've been whipping up sketches pretty much daily which used to be unheard of out of me. I was just so done with posting crappy artwork. I'd have pictures that I'd be very pleased with, and others just just fail to meet the same level of overall quality and that tears me up inside (and this would hurt commissions drastically), especially when I compare to other artists. (they say you should never compare yourself to others, just focus on your own gains, but still I can't help it once in a while), Well I wanna fix that, and thanks to a friend of mine on here I think I've managed to find something that worked for me. To help with my horribly inconsistent anatomy I'm using Posing software called design-doll.

With this I can pretty much set up entire scenes in mere minutes and get a good feel of what I'm going for without having to pretty much visualize it in my head. Now I've been pretty skeptical about sharing that because there's a bit of a stigma with some people who believe that using software like that or referencing pictures is considered "cheating" in the art community. But screw it, I like being transparent with what tools I use. I personally don't see a issue with using it as I've always believed in people using what ever they have available to make the best content possible. If it makes anyone feel better I'm still learning and practicing anatomy better on the side so I won't solely rely on this all the time.

ill post a large "sketch dump" picture to show my progress and you all can be the judge of weather or not it really made a difference. I've showed people on skype and without hesitation people found the new work vastly superior so i hope the rest of you enjoy it as well, Anyways I hope you all have a good day and ill see you on the next pictures posted.

Well... I've been here, physically anyway, but mentally not so much. For the last two or three weeks I just wasn't feeling up for producing artwork. I didn't feel like doing anything. I felt just drained and out of ideas and motivation for some reason. I dunno, maybe i was just burnt out from being locked in my room all the time. especially when my bedroom on some days gets to be like 90 degrees some days. I don't really get out much so i tried hanging with my real life friends a little more despite the insanely hot weather we've been getting. But now im back, Now i feel like finishing the Coms people have been rightfully wondering about. Fortunately most have been sketched out at least so this week there should finally be an art dump soon as well as yet a new character.

On FN and Weasyl to avoid flooding the sites I'm only going to post things as early as stuff from 2015 till current. Ill probably do a few pictures a day till its all caught up.

Now I'm NOT leaving this site. No matter how much people whine and complain about this place, this place will pretty much be the place with all the traffic. If i left this site it as of now it would pretty much be the end of me so if you were worried about that don't be.
Now ive used both FN and weasyl for a few days now and I'm rather pleased with both at the moment. If you like the layout of how deviantart/FA/or Inkbunny is, you'll feel right at home pretty quickly on weasyl. It even has a folders system that took this site, gee i dunno forever to get here. but one thing it has that this site WISHES it has is a god damn tag filtering system. Sweet jesus, I've been wanting that for years and there it is. Did you guys know i never use this sites search system anymore? no really, if i ever search for furry stuff its usually on e621 because this site just loves showing me gross stuff. but not anymore...

Secondly, theres Furry Network, again a pretty good site. Very clean yet... cluttered at the same time. its very obvious they wanna be like twitter. seriously its took me like an hour to figure out how to find my own damn submissions. Anyway one thing i LOVE is how you can transfer your pictures and your watchers over in one go. theres also this whole promotion/favorites thing in place. they are roughly the same thing, but promoting is public favorites you share with the world, that also shows your icon on the picture so people can find your page. That is Great! that helps the community grow and let lesser known artists get found, on the flip side you could be an ass and just promote popular artists just to get seen,but then again that artist also gets more views so whatevs. and favorites are private and are exclusive to your own eyes so those nosey people (and yes they are out there) can be all like "ewww...i didn't know you were into that" or whatever.

So overall. If You haven't already PLEASE make an account at one of those two places because the reason why new sites fail is because no ones willing to take the risk to move. Welp im doing my part to occupy some space at those places, I hope more people will do the same because FA does need real competition to keep it on its toes. It got a little too comfortable sitting at the top and now look what happened.

Now i wanted to end things right there, but this is one tiny thing i do need to address and its drama related... because thats what furries do i guess, cause drama. well the drama for today is on furry network. I dunno, theres people going ape shit about their recent ban of cub porn, sorta like a few years ago when FA banned cub porn. Now what do i think of this? I.... really don't give a shit honestly. I mean i hate cub porn. Most people do. I really won't lose sleep over it. Im sure its pretty damn understandable that the people of FN don't wanna be known as "that one web site with the cub porn." I mean look at inkbunny, it already has that title and you don't see too many people going there anymore, myself included. i mean i see people throwing such a huge tantrum over this, i swear some people are against censorship just for the sake of being against it rather than what is actually being censored. But thats just me, i don't know what Bad Dragons past is that makes people hate them so much. id love to hear about it though if anyone knows. But as of now nothing really bothers me.

Not really the site itself, the people here are nice and all, I'm just talking about all the outages that keep going on. I never really cared before during earlier outages before now, now that I kind of depend on it for my livelihood at the moment I can see it being a huge hindrance. Like the title says, do my pictures look like they are lacking in color? Like the colors look faded on your monitor? Or do they look the opposite and look too dark? Because I changed some settings on my desktop PC to make the resolution changes as well as color ones and now to me compared to what i was using before, my screen looks darker and saturated at its default settings. A few recent pictures I was working on also seem to look a bit worse to me. I'm a little confused what the "true" colors are supposed to be. So in your opinion do they look fine, could they be brighter/darker etc?

Alright im down to just a handful of projects again so i think i can handle a few more.
