Furaffinity may not be the most modern furry art site, but damn if it's not one of the most stable sites and reliable. I have been here for over a decade and it is still a pleasure with a great gallery feature that is easy to navigate.

Question regarding upload progress

I have become more active with uploading again since I finished my Incy and Placira series.
And I wanted to ask a question regarding the current frequency of uploads to my watchers.
Is one picture a day too much or too fast? Should I slow down to one picture every two days (as I have recently).
Because I really want to avoid spamming peoples inboxes with uploads. Every single artwork ia great and deserves its time in the limelight so I really want to avoid spam.
So yeah, what!s your two cents regarding this topic? Comments and opinions very much appreciated and welcome!

Upload Delay Explanation!

I had some problems with the texts for the uploads and need to some rework on them, thus resulting in no uploads since a while though I hope I can get back up to speed soon and continue the uploads soon enough with greater quality writing.
I enjoy writing, but it has been long years since I wrote anything with substance to it, and sadly, I have gotten rusty and it shows.
With the pictures and the story I want to provide the best possible experience for the viewer and reader, thus doing my all with it, which I was not able to deliver.
I am working on it to rectify this as soon as possible and provide, hopefully, frequent uploads again.
Thank you everyone for your patience! You are all amazing, and until the next upload. Stay tuned!

Just a quick update regarding the uploads. I have encountered a problem and am currently trying to solve it.
So uploads get delayed now by a few days but I will make up for it by uploading daily instead of every two days after the problem is solved.

I know it has been a while, and I want to thank you all for sticking with me during these last few years. I want to go gradually through all the topics I want to talk about.
On a side note, I adressed this already in my upload from yesterday, but I wanted to seperate that with all the information going here, and the picture upload description getting shortened later to just focus on the art itself and what it symbolizes.
Where have you been?
I was still here but only engaging sporadically in comments. A lot of life happened though, tried my hands at studying game design and found a full-time job that pays well enough for now. It leaves little freetime, unfortunately but I'm doing well enough.
Why did you only upload so rarely?
I focused very much on obtaining the pictures for the picture series I intend to upload. Getting this many commissions all from different artists proved difficult and a time-consuming matter with long wait times for openings at times and also wait times for the finished artworks. And I wanted to upload these next in order to give more context to the characters, specifically my main couple, Incendramon and Placiramon. Many other artworks are waiting to get uploaded as well, and I am finally ready to share them after the series concluded.
What can we expect to see in the future?
Thematically not very different from what has been shared here before. SFW and NSFW art of my OCs, their references and interactions with one another or featuring the characters from friends of mine.
As an addition, I am still working on my story and it's coming along well. This will also be shared when ready, but it is not yet in a sharable state.
Other than that, after clearing out my backlog, I plan to keep uploads timely in the future with every artwork I receive to be uploaded shortly after.
Where will you share your art in the future?
I plan to keep Furaffinity as my main gallery for now, but aim to also use the new site Itaku as a second gallery, since it offers many features I am interested in.

I have been very busy with work IRL and family matters very much while also trying to keep up with some of the games I have (and mostly failing but that's besides the point)
And I finally sorted out my watch list here on FA with either inactive artists or artists I no longer really enjoy the content of.
So... and since I'm a bit tired of seeing the same things day in and out... I was curious.
Do you have any artists to recommand here on FA that I can check out?
I really dig anime style and everything sorta relating to it, SFW and NSFW, great design work, armors, weapons, fantasy, the works.
Though I would like to avoid stuff I don't like, such as vore, hyper, NTR, gore in NSFW situations and the unclean stuff.
So yeah :3 Hope you have some new profiles for me to check out since i'm very curious.
Bonus if they draw a lot of dragons and scalies xD

I was curious if people were interested in reading a bit of a story, accompanying the uploads :3

though I'm considerably happy they are independent again.
And the changes sound really promising.
I hope they will make it into the site x3

My last journal has been some time now so I wanted to give an update. First of all: Art.
I have several pictures in my queue to upload and I'm really excited to show the, but unfortunately,
this still takes some time as it will be a sort of picture series and I want to upload in a sort of chronological order.
I am still waiting on some commissions and they are going along - slowly.
And I am grateful for your patience with me and the lack of uploads I do.
Bureauracy:
On another note, my games programming studies are going on for some time now and it's rough to say the least.
Not only is the thematic difficult but bureaucracy is really wack as well. And with wack I mean utterly atrocious.
I am -still- in the process of getting a part time job and it takes forever due to the nature of the job.
On top of that, the snailish bureaucracy causes more problems than it solves really.
Health Insurance lost my paperwork two times and put me in the highest payment bracket.
Luckily I solved that problem today and I was ensured they would correct it.
Finances:
On a more concerning note, my payment plan went down the drain and the bank that was in affiliation with my uni fucked everyone over
and basically refuses to financially support anyone anymore. So basically my family has to carry the full cost my study course.
I hope to find a solution eventually, the most likely course of action is a bigger workload, which I am not a friend of since i need the time for studying.
But I think I will manage, I always did somehow. It's just a really hard hit and sucks hard.

Moving + Life Update
Posted 5 years agoI have been rather quiet in recent times and I apologize for it. Wanted to draw more and still waiting for some commissions and some work I need to do as well.
But well, my life is changing very soon very much. I will move cities, around 2/3 of the country away from my home and parents and go studying Game Design.
I am super excited since it's something I always wanted to do and learn. It's hard and I know the job can be a nightmare at times, but I want to try it nontheless.
So it's the last evening before we move tomorrow. Me, my mother and aunt will drive up and get everything in my new only-person apartment.
At least I don't have to bother with messy room mates.
I am very happy that my parents allow me to pursue this dream of mine and support me emotionally and financially. After the recent death of my grandma,
who used to live with us, it has gotten rather quiet at home and now that I'm moving out, it will be even more so. But I want to stand on my own legs and for that I have to learn to live by myself.
Other than that, I'm doing alright I suppose. It could be better, I'm still working through some stuff emotionally but I guess I will be alright.
The main reason for this though being my best friends, Arcy, Skully and Yarik who keep me company and I'm super glad I have them.
I will see how life treats me in the big city then, but I think for now it gets time to turn off and get my computer packed up as well.
I will give anotehr life sign when everything is set up.
Until then, I hope you do well, too!

Posted 6 years agoFinally finished #SEKIRO after 48 hours of playtime. It was one HELL of ride and I don't even know where to start.
The difficulty is ampted up again from DS3 and Bloodborne, which is an incredible feat, but not a very welcome one. If you had problems with parrying in Dark Souls and riposting in Bloodborne, this game will destroy you and force you to learn it. I was never big with parrying in Dark Souls, riposting in Bloodborne was incredibly important, so yes I knew that, but the feeling of Sekiro was different as well. The game rewards you for a fast playstyle and being very VERY aggressive.
The stealth is great and super rewarding, especially when you need to grind one of the plenty things you need.
And the prostethic arm is also incredibly versatile. The grappling hook is super much fun to use and supports the shinobi playstyle tremendously!
The story is also much easier to understand than any Dark Souls and also Bloodborne before. You get it without watching any videos and you get to read the descriptions of every item upon pick-up, they are short and all tell you something important for the lore/story.
Voice acting and character interaction was also incredibly good, since you play an established character, the interactions are also much more natural.
The difficulty, especially the boss fights, are insane though. Bosses and mini-bosses will kick your ass up and down the whole way of the game. After you overcome the first, there is another one waiting for you one area over. And some of the later ones are even bullshit. The important thing here though is, you are a shinobi. Fight as dirty and cheap as you want. Stealth, hit and run, poison, dirty tactics, cheesing, use everything to get the job done, because that's in the nature of the role you are playing as.
I'm glad that they cut coop and PVP in favor of focusing on story and on your gameplay, and you can pause the game to manage your inventory. HUGE - FUCKING - PLUS!
As a final remark though, the final boss, while super rewarding to beat (havn't felt this good since beating Orphan of Kos) is a frustrating piece of shit and the arena you fight him in is cancer that obstructs your vision.
Final verdict: Sekiro is a great addition to the souls-franchise and I enjoyed it alot, and I raged propably even more. But that's what the game is about, fighting tough fights and improving yourself and overcoming them and I am glad I did! 10/10, would definatly Sudoku again
Remark: However, I do NOT recommand making Sekiro your first game in the fromsoft-game series.
If by chance you get the hang of the games, the pacing of the prior titles will be a huge turn-off for you.
Start with Dark Souls and work your way up.
Remark 2: Sekiros japanese voice actor (japanese voice acting is the best in that game if you ask me) is named Daisuke, I find that hilarious xD

Personally, I hate art dumps, it waters down the quality and attention each individual artwork gets. So I tried to upload one of the artworks per day in batches. However I think the four pictures of the third batch were a bit much.

Posted 6 years agoOkay okay I admit, not throwing stones here because I didn't know of it as well for the longest time,
just saw it mentioned in a video and how it's not more popular among furries and I have to agree
But now BEASTARS gets an anime adaptations, not sure but I think it's CGI but it looks pretty great!
Seems studios have learned a thing or two from Land of the Lustrous in terms of animation.
