Hey guys guess who turns 28 today? This guy right here. And despite all the craziness that is going on today I thank God that I'm alive and I'm grateful that even in the bad there is still so much good to enjoy and look forward to. I hope that you all are well during this time, I know we'll get through this but until then let's appreciate the good in our lives.

Went to the Museum of African American History today. Let me tell you they did not pull any punches. Today I finally understood what my ancestors went through to get their freedom and the humiliation and the constant degradation they had to endure everyday as slaves and then with segregation. All that suffering...for money, the love of money really is the root of all evil, but because of that I now really appreciate the freedoms I now have and to admire those that dared to stand up and fight the status quo. If you haven't been there I encourage you to go because there is something for everybody to learn believe me you will not be sorry.

If there was any doubt about God in me it's gone now. Last night someone tried to break into my house but they didn't even make it past the front door in fact me and my family all slept through it. When I think about what could have happened all I can say is thank Jesus that it didn't happen.
