2026 Changes
General | Posted 3 days agoWelcome to the year of the horse, 2026!This year unfortunately, I will need to scale back drawing in order to make space for other obligations. It would be nice and would solve all my problems if I could just turn my passion into my profession, but we don't live in fairytales. hell, we live in a dystopia and we don't even know it yet. I wanna keep this less doom and / or gloom, so let's just move to the changes. Behold! The patch notes:CommissionsHow about the good news first? Commissions are being rebalanced! Comms have been fairly quiet last year and sure, I could just start advertising like every other artist on here but you get enough of that already. Instead, I will be going back through and lowering my prices to make them more affordable. This will also offset the fact that Comms will now take longer to finish. More on that later. Alongside pricing changes, I will refreshing them with last year's art. YCHsI would like to introduce some very simple, very cheap multislot ychs. I have done something similar in the past but never as a permanent fixture. No, I will not be bringing back past ychs but instead making brand new ychs to serve this purpose. Feel free to share some ideas if you have any. There might be a free example for you... Votes, Raffles and other projectsVotes and raffles will be less frequent. Especially votes given the low engagement and time sink. With certainty though, milestone raffles will be continuing. (Yes, you will be getting the 200 watcher raffle soonish) I also want to try my hand at longer multi-month projects that involve a set of same-themed artworks. General posting and processesI won't be sticking to my once per week uploads. Why? Because I won't be drawing every week anymore. Drawing is a massive time sink. Requiring multiple hours of sitting in front of a pc to deliver the work that I do. It just can't happen anymore. I wish I could just do it all in an hour or two like the big artists, but I can't. I don't have the practice, qualifications or talent to work that quickly. I need a slower pace to manage the other things that are necessary in life. The other alternative is lower quality work, and I will not skimp on quality.
That's pretty much it. The rest of the patch notes are as follows:-Turned up yeen factor to 9-Dragons will no longer self-immolate at midday-Fed the werewoof. Good Girl~-Basement demon will no longer be contained by doors. Wait... What-Raffle Winners

dropem77Yeah, a 1-2 combo. Except its more 2-3. Look, I don't choose how the wheel decides things. I just spin it. Ok, maybe I do a little more than just spin it. Like, take a screenshot. ...And then crop out the youtube video on my second screen because CTRL + PRINT SCREEN takes a screenshot of both of my monitors. Ah, Morrowind gameplay... Games just aren't the same these days.Proof for both spins here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/16P.....usp=drive_link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GO.....usp=drive_link Winners have 24 hours to respond to my notes or slots will be re-drawn. General | Posted a month agoBrrr. It's absolutely frigid this time of year. Is... What I would say if I lived somewhere that wasn't the surface of the sun this time of year. Anyway, this time of year is all about giving, reflection and apps telling you how many times you said the word- Bubble.
I have a few things planned this month, not sure there is enough month to actually get all of it done, but let's see what we can do!#1. End of Year RaffleLast year I held an end of year raffle. This year, I'm making it a bit bigger! We will have two winning slots and everyone can join in! No watch, favorite, journal post or other external pledge of undying allegiance to my cult of personality or billboard advertising my stuff necessary. (You will have to comment on a journal however.)Rules and further details to come. #2 Hex's Hit Gift ListI've been meaning to do this for a while. And that is make a list of people to do some gift art for as appreciation for the things they've done. I will be contacting these folks over the next week to ask for a character of theirs to draw. Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to get to everyone on the list this year. So it will likely remain a project for 2026 also. Look, I can't just gift crappy art. That's disrespectful. That's pretty much it for this month. Stay safe, don't party too hard and try not to engage in acts that could result in offspring. See you in 2026.
