So, two thing really...

On Saturday, I jammed with a guitarist and a bassist. We jelled really well. It was incredible. They both have plans on doing shows, original material and composing an album of original material in 2013. They are both over 40, very experienced and have access to studios.

On Sunday, Kong emails me out of nowhere. They told me that the keyboardist they took on instead of me was decent, but not committed. They went on to tell me that they wanted me to come back and rehearse with them because they have a string of shows set up in the new year and are working on a new album...

Pretty cool, right?

Yay! Ask away!

I will be in and out of my office today as they have me doing a lot of production downstairs, but I will check here and there...

Fursuited

I only fursuited for a few hours here and there on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I don't have my cardio up at all and I drink too much. I have lost all stamina.

Been Less Shy

I tend to have this problem; I wander around a lot by myself and get really upset to the point where I am almost crying. I have a few depression issues. I got into fursuit and wound up wandering around mostly by myself. I started getting depressed. I got out of fursuit and started drinking to forget that. That wasn't that big of a problem though; I got totally smashed, mixed myself up something in a bottle, walked around going "whooo! fursuiters!" and took lots of pictures. SO MUCH FUN...

Also, why the hell can't I interact with fursuiters while in suit? I'm a shy retard...

Drank Less

I have this viscous cycle while I am at furry conventions. I get into fursuit. I wander around. I get upset because I am shy and can't interact with people and I can't hold a decent conversation. This makes me get out of suit and I wind up drinking.

I don't know...I'm a fuzzbrain...

Midwest Furfest was amazing, just like last year. I found myself at this convention last year. I found my true self. Midwest Furfest has a spiritual significance for me. $40,000 was raised for Felines n' Canines, the organization they took on. They were onstage and almost had a heart attack. A $30,000 novelty check (the other $10,000 was raised throughout the con) was given to them onstage. The closing ceremonies are what really got to me emotionally. I'm glad I was wearing my fursuit, because I started crying. The one woman onstage started crying, telling us that we are some of the most beautiful people she has ever met. She went on to say that throughout her life, she always felt like an outcast and out of place. She said that she now has a family and a place to call home. This really really got to me. It is truly moments like this that I live for. We also changed their lives. They said that they are going to build a new wing and dedicate it to MFF.

Do you want to know something else? The atmosphere at MFF is simply stunning. People are always in such a great mood. There is never any stress. Everyone is so happy. Everyone is always in party mode. Everything at MFF always goes off without a hitch. I think this is why I found my true self here last year. The hotel that it is held at is also a palace.

I would also like to point out that Midwest Furfest is the only convention that feeds you, no matter what level of registration you are. You could literally go there with no money and be fine. The convention costs you $165; that is about it.

My only problem is that I didn't fursuit as much as I wanted to. I wound up drinking too much.

I love this con. It is the best con. Everyone should experience it.

I will be getting in a car and heading to MFF! I cannot contain my excitement!

The excitement is killing me! I just registered for it. MFF is an amazing convention. I hope to see a lot of you down there!

I am one of the most nicest guys out there. I'm not an asshole. I'm not a bad person. This is really upsetting. I don't do anything to hurt anyone. All I try to be on here is a lovable husky. So, what the hell? Its for sure the other person who has a stick up there ass...

So, what now? I guess I should start being a fucking impatient dick like everyone else in this world?

I recently auditioned for Kong, a progressive rock band here in Toronto. They liked what I did. They told me that I was in their band. They told me that they wanted me to do shows with them and play on their upcoming debut album. Well, the drummer decides that he doesn't want me and wants another keyboardist. I rehearsed countless hours for this band. I even bought a new synthesizer and a double stand. This put me out $700. I did not have to do that at all. Do you know how much this pisses me off?

A word to the wise, people. Don't try anything in life. Don't try to shoot for the stars. You will only crash, burn and fail miserably.

I am currently working on a new album, entitled The Tactical Crew. This album, under the name Alterloth (the name I use when I make experimental albums), will be strictly percussive pieces, highly layered and very complex. I will put snippets up here and there on FA. The whole album will be available on Soundcloud once I am finished.

Kong is a progressive rock band based in Toronto. They were formed in 2007 and are currently working on a debut album scheduled to be released sometime in 2013. They are also playing a string of shows within the next couple of months to support their debut release. I went to the Rehearsal Factory and auditioned for them. They were impressed to see that I could play their songs so well in the first go. I am currently working with them.
