No FE or MCFC for me this year.....AC, Feral, MFF? Yes
Posted 10 years agoSo, my parents need me more than ever this upcoming year in 2016. Their busiest season is March-May. That means no FE, MCFC or WTF. It really upsets me but what can I do? I can't do anything about it. It is totally out of my power. It will be a hard weekend both weekends when they go by and I am simply not there. I am already bummed out enough about missing MFF. This means that I will be further and further disconnected from everyone and it depresses me. I love furry conventions and hanging out with everyone so much which is why this hurts. I love fursuiting. I love drinking. AAAH! I have to wait until Anthrocon 2016 to get to another con. It shouldn't be too bad though. I don't have a lot of expenses and missing FE and MCFC will just make me have more money to enjoy myself at AC, Feral and MFF (and I should probably get out to the con that took over FF)
MFF Friday drive down
Posted 10 years agoAre there any Ontario furs who are possibly driving down there Friday? I'm thinking of going last minute...
No more MFF for me...
Posted 10 years agoCanada Post blocks all of its employees out of December for any hopes of vacation time so unless MFF changes its dates back to November (which I hope and pray that it does) I will never be going to MFF ever again...
I'm feeling extremely out of touch with the furry fandom...
Posted 10 years agoI don't know if its all in my head, but I am feeling extremely out of touch with the furry fandom lately. I don't know why because I live in a furry house. I don't think I am able to go to conventions in awhile because I recently got hired on with Canada Post. I am starting paid training on Monday at $19.31/hr. I'm just trying to get my life together. I never thought that I would have a fucking GOVERNMENT JOB...
Anyway, I just don't want people to think that I am out of touch with them or not hanging out with them or not being active enough here....I love all of you...you are all what has made me the person that I am today...more patient, more caring, more loving...just a better person...if it wasn't for the furry fandom and all of you around me...such awesome people that you are! I wouldn't have grown into the person that I am today...so much soul searching has brought me to all of you...every day that I wake up, I thank any higher and greater spirit that exists that I have the pleasure to know all of you and I don't want that to fade away...
I love you all...

No Furry Conventions for ONE YEAR!
Posted 10 years agoI'm going to get hired on full time with Campar Currier Solutions in five weeks. Once I do, I won't be able to get any vacation time for an entire year....no MCFC, AC, MFF, Feral...you will still see me at FE but only on the FE...this is a GOOD THING because I'm going to be making around 2000 dollars a month...
Please Help Me...
Posted 10 years agoI normally don't do this and I feel rather embarrassed doing this but here we go....
I went to AC and Feral this year. I had a job when I did this. After AC 2015, I got fired. I freaked out because I already paid for Feral. I started a new job last week, but you know how it is; they will only be paying me for my first day this Friday when I get my check and I have to wait for this weeks pay until next week. This is the problem: I have massive credit card debt. I have a Mastercard payment coming up on Sept 2nd for $373. I can afford some of it but not all of it. Basically, I'm asking people for $120. I WILL PAY IT BACK, JUST WHEN I GET PAID AGAIN. If I don't pay this, I am in trouble. I wanted to know if anyone can send me an e-transfer before Sept. 2nd and I will pay you back when I am able to. I will be forever grateful for this. Thank you for your kindness.
Big Hugs,,

MCFC PICS!
Posted 10 years agoSo, I just got back from Anthrocon and it was awesome! I am overloaded with pics from that con, but also I am overloaded with pics from MCFC! I have been so busy with work and with some producers and a recording company that I have barely been on here. Expect about two or three pics from me from those two cons a day. Thank you.

Posted 10 years agoSo, I have been too busy to really do anything on FA...I've been trying to get my life together...things have been all over the place...trying to find a job....find my place in the world...I have a lot of pics from previous cons to put up on FA and I will get to that...I won't be at Anthrocon...I'm going to Camp Feral though! I have a new job which is awesome...its 5-7 days a week and with decent enough pay to keep me going...anyway, that is my update! I love you all! *hugs*

No MCFC, AC or Feral for me this year
Posted 11 years agoIts really been a strange last few years for me. I was living in Toronto and I had a promising job, then they terminated me. I tried to get back on my feet but it didn't work. Then I moved back Eastern Ontario to help my parents with their company thinking that would work. They turned into complete psychos, firing me and now I'm on EI, moving back to Toronto. Things are just getting too stupid these days and I need to find myself and figure out who I am. I am using that money to take a trip back out to Nova Scotia where I am from and find myself. I'm still going to FE this year and MFF 2015.

I want to go to MFF
Posted 11 years agoHello!
I am looking to go to MFF. I found out that I am actually able to go to this. The only problem is that I have no ride and no room! I am coming from the Ottawa area. I am looking for a ride from that area and also a room. If there is anyone out there who could help me out I would greatly appreciate that! Also, Jello is coming too....

What the hell?
Posted 11 years agoYou're all such great people. I seriously could not have asked for friends as greater as those who I have met through this fandom. This is why it hurts me so deeply that I am not going to see anyone for such a long time. I am not able to go to Furnal Equinox, Midwest Furfest (although I might just get on a plane and go anyway). I can't go to MCFC. I WAS ABLE TO GO TO ALL OF THIS SHIT WHEN I WAS UNEMPLOYED HAHAHA! Well, actually, when I was in Toronto struggling for a job before my folks decided that they needed more help with their company.
I don't want to loose touch with any of you. You mean more to me than you could seriously imagine. Not a day goes by when I'm not thinking of the great times that I have spent with each and every one of you. I hope to get to Toronto soon and see all those furs I left behind there. I hope to get to an American convention soon and party it up with those, especially AKA! Seriously, if I had millions of dollars, I would just buy a damn hotel and have a convention all year around! I already have it planned out too! It would called...

Work is taking over...
Posted 11 years agoI have been a CEO in training since March of this year. There are a lot of responsibilities that I am taking on. I have a lot of business meetings and campground conventions that I will be going to in the future. This means that I might not be attending MFF (although I might fucking well just drive to Chicago that weekend) I am alright with missing MFF and MCFC because there are some campground conventions that are happening when that is happening. The one that is really getting to me is that there are a shit ton of Ontario Provincial Campground meets going on that I have to attend while FE is happening! I might be missing FE in 2015 and that really pisses me off...
Roomshare For MFF?
Posted 11 years agoHello everyone! Apparently, all the rooms for the Hyatt Regency O' Hare are booked? That is crazy! If there is anyone who wants to share a room with me at MFF, that would be awesome! Only people who want have rooms need apply. I am pretty easy going and will not cause problems. I just want to be in the main hotel. I had major problems with trying to stay in the main hotel last time.
Thank you!
Thank you!
I'm Going To Camp Feral!
Posted 11 years agoI registered for Camp Feral. I am so excited that I can go this year and every single year after this year. I finally have the freedom and ability go to from now on. I am going to be in a cabin with my girlfriend, Jello, SammyPanther Malingo, and a few other furs! I can't wait! Yay!
What The Fur 2014 Report
Posted 11 years agoHello Everyone,
Last weekend I was at What The Fur. What The Fur is an hour drive away from where I live which is not too far from the Ontario-Quebec border. It was a bit hard to try to get to the hotel though. The convention was located at the Sheraton Airport Hotel. On Thursday afternoon, it was raining and there was quite a lot of traffic so I missed the exit on the 40 and wound up driving right past it. I had major issues trying to get to the actual vicinity of the hotel too. I didn't have a GPS so I kept asking directions from every single person I met who was walking by. Quebec has really weird highway systems. Also, I don't speak French that well and I wound up getting twisted and turned upside down. When I finally made it to the hotel, I was relieved. I walked in and the first person I met was
so I knew that I was in the right place.
The hotel is very clean, very spacious and very shiny. It was easy to navigate around the hotel and the convention space. The convention itself was on the second floor. We were sharing the hotel that weekend with what I think was a Prom Party and also a Hockey Kids Camp. There were a lot of children running around on the Friday of the convention. A lot of the fursuiters (including myself) were running after the kids. They seemed to be pretty entertained by us. The only main issue with the extra flow of people who weren't furries (because you will get those at the hotel anyway) was they kept walking through the convention space rather frequently. Most of them were nice, but many others seemed uncomfortable as they were walking through the space and that in turn made me feel uncomfortable. Some non-fur hotel attendees for the course of the weekend were even so bold as to walk right into the dance on Saturday night and sit down without even paying for the event or giving the convention staff some extra money. I felt that was pretty rude on their part. The security did nothing to stop this either. A few fursuiters came up to me and said that they felt uncomfortable about this but they did nothing either.
The convention space itself was small but it was what What The Fur had to work with. It melded nice with the amount of people who attended. The total amount of people who attended What The Fur was something around 305. There were 75 fursuiters I think. What I enjoyed most about the hotel was the outside of the hotel located in the middle of the Sheraton Airport Hotel. There was a large amount of beautiful greenery, flowers and general plant life. There were a lot of beautiful trellises and walkways. It was so beautiful! There were so many opportunities for photoshoots. The fursuit parade ended in this garden/pool outdoor/indoor area outside. There could have easily been a Fursuit Photoshoot outside there all day on a Saturday. That would have been a fun highlight. I didn't wind up going into the pool or the outdoor/indoor pool area but man, was it ever nice looking!
I thought that the games room was the zoo too because it was the only place where tables with chairs were set up. Whenever I was in the games room, there was a certain person in there pressuring people to play games the entire time that they were in there. There were a number of furs who only wanted to go in there to relax because there was no official zoo from what I could see anywhere in the convention space. That seemed quite alright to me, because the actual convention space that What The Fur had had no real room for that. It was not the fault of the convention. There was some really cool stuff in the dealers den. Lots of shiny things and lots of other interesting things. People in the dealers den were extremely nice and approachable. The What The Fur staff are some of the nicest and warmest people I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with at a furry convention.
What is so special about What The Fur? There is one general thing that is common of most small conventions and that is just the thing; the small, close feeling of the convention itself. The two things special to What The Fur itself would be the Chocolate Social and the International Fursuit Hockey League. I didn't attend the International Fursuit Hockey League this year but it is a lot of fun. The Chocolate Social comes right after the Opening Ceremonies. The fur who runs the Chocolate Social brings chocolate from across the world right to What The Fur.
Anyway, that is my report on What The Fur. It is an amazing small convention located in a beautiful hotel and needs to be experienced by everyone. Thank you.

Cell Phone
Posted 11 years agoThat's it. I am giving up having a cell phone. I don't like texting. I barely call people. I don't like being one of those people with their heads dug into their cell phones. I don't like the distraction of it. I never have it on me. I also see all the videos these days of people texting on their cell phones when they are driving and then getting into a horrible accident. Also, my cell phone bills have been through the roof lately. All these terrible cell phone plans when I am in the USA at a con and need to text someone, need to look at an email, need to get online for anything. That is it. I don't really like to text people anyway. Its so impersonal. I like speaking to someone face to face. I HATE 'lol, omg, srsly, brb, g2g'....all that shit...I'm really sorry...I don't mean to offend anyone...I don't like texting...that is why I barely talk to anyone anymore...I don't even really like being on facebook that much either...I LOVE to talk to people face to face...that's how I roll...I am old school...so to make a long story short, I am giving up my cell phone and will probably be on facebook less and less...I will still obviously be on here...I guess I just like to not be on the computer and I really hate technology....honestly, the only technology I like is music technology...I am a musician...whenever some new hip and hype synthesizer or some recording technology comes out, I am all over and want to throw money at it...Horlequism out!

Come and be part of history! Maltese FurCon 2014
Posted 11 years agoThis year, from August 1-3rd, 2014, runs the first Furry Convention in Boston, MASS!
Boston is an amazing city. I have been there quite a few times. I have a lot of family in the Massachusetts myself and that state is overall a pretty awesome place. It would be interesting to experience going to a furry con that is running for the first time. The theme is Murder Mystery. The hotel is going to be the Hilton Boston Legion Airport Hotel, which is really snazzy. The hotel rate a night is a tad expensive ($180/night). The registration is also a bit much now that I am reading on ($45 for regular registration and then it just gets crazier beyond that). I am muddling around the idea of going and being part of history; namely, being there for the first year. Here is a link:

Furnal Equinox 2015
Posted 11 years agoArcade theme...
I guess people will be doing cosplay for different video game characters possibly? If so then I would love to group up with a bunch of people and do a cosplay together...we can pick an arcade game and work on different characters from it and cosplay together...
Also, that hotel bill was WAY TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE for me this year...I really do NOT want to book a room for next year....would it be possible to tag along with some people in their room for next year?
