General | Posted 12 years agoWell, this is a surprise. I'm sorta back, ladies and Males. I've been off the site for what feels like eons but I am slowly getting back into the art game and as such, I will be posting here again.
It's been 3 years (according to my last journal entry) since my last appearance and I apologize to all those whom I watch but I had to nuke all the submissions on my watch list as I have OVER 9000!!!! and that would take forever to have finished :3
As to what I've been up too? well, long story short:
Got divorced
Became a higher manager at current job
Working on the side with an indie-gaming company
Working on a new website and blog site
Gaming, movies, gaming, movies
And the usual stuff...
So...yeah. :D I am back...but I wonder...was I missed?! D:

Another nightmate
General | Posted 15 years agoStarts off where I am going to the restroom at work but the bathroom is this long tiled hallway and there is no doors or stalls; just a toilet. So I point at the walls and force them to crash into each other to seal myself off. For some odd reason I am nude - of course right? - as I do my business. Some co-worker comes in, says sup, walks out. I am too tired in the dream to give a damn.
I am reading a comic strip while in the bathroom - it's of a shark talking to his wife. The wife turns away and when she looks back, the male has a baby. It was some kind of joke on infidelity being very fast in the shark's life...
So I wake up...in the dream I Wake up. I am in a line outside this desert-like community and I'm a black man. I think that the comic-strip was genius and I am telling my girlfriend (Also black) that this is a fantastic allegory for black men cheating on wives. She gets mad at me, telling me she wants happy animated cartoons about sharks; not social commentary...we are arguing as we walk...
-dream jumps too-
I am in the back of a truck with a new girl whose face I cannot recall...I'm a prisoner and I am going to my new home. The cop is a blond woman with bug sunglasses and a uniform. She has a shotgun. We stop at this ugly run down home with a dead lawn - looks very trailer trash. I tell her
''Do you have to escort me home everyday?''
''That's the job''
We get there and there is a very thin hedgehog on the lawn in a cage. I told my girlfriend I wanted it to be named Sonic. She glared at me.
So we enter and the house is of follows: A large bed is immediately in front of the door - a little past that is a dresser and behind the bed a bookshelf. The room in front of the bed is pretty bland, messy and dark, with a TV against the wall and clothes everywhere.
So there is a naked man in the bed and it's a human version of Joe Swanson from Family Guy. Yes, ha ha ha ha, laugh it up. Just keep listening okay?
He's welcoming us to the home and explains he will be monitoring us and that I need to get ready for a job interview. I start getting dressed and he stands up.
''Joe. You're walking!''
He glares daggers at me and responds ''Of course I am. I am a Catholic now remember?''
So I back down. After I get dressed, I find some panties and handcuffs in the bed. ''Hey Joe. Had some fun last night?''
''I did.'' He brings me outside and shows me this strange car. ''You see that car?''
''Yeah..''
''It has four tires. Meaning it can drive very well. Meaning it can drive Over anything I want it to. People who ask questions...it can drive over.'' He pressed a button and blades came out of the car's bottom. He pressed it again and it lowered itself to the ground chopping up the driveway.
''It also leaves no evidence behind. Understand?''
''......yeah....''
Suddenly the dream turns off...it's just black but I hear him talking...it started in the middle of his conversation but here it is...
''And these women they just love it when there is violence. So we were f*cking in the middle of a boxing match and she screamed out every time the boxer beat the sh*t out of the other guy but I wanted to beat her. I just wanted to beat her face in. She wanted me to shoot her, I put it against her stink hole and she came buckets as I shot her. She died though but who cares, I kept going at it. I wanted to jump into that ring and beat the crap out of them, reach up and beat them.''
-dream jumps again-
I am going to our new home...in the desert. There is a trailer outside where my cousin Virgil lives...my blond wife and I go towards the house and I comment...
''Why do we need to live in the trailer? That house is yours right?''
''Mom has the key...'' she hissed at me.
Then the front door opened and her mother, this sweet old lady, invites us in. My blond girl is furious at me for accepting the invitation. The house smells of dog but its nice; a big couch by the front door, a big TV with static, and a massive stereo system besides the TV. I yelled at a russel terrier for biting at the TV wires then start looking around...
That's when it all hits me...something is wrong. There is a weird creature on display on the stereo screen that shows the volume. I thought it was something out of Halo but I was never sure. I slowly start looking around...
Something is very wrong with everything.
I am no longer in the dream...I'm an observer...but the dream is being shown to me in a comic book...when I stop the pages...it goes live action. I cannot put the comic book down nor can I close it. I am forced to read it. I can only see the pages and my fingers holding the pages...
I am watching the mother and another person rolling in the grass...they are wrestling but then start having sex. He is on top.
The blond wife returns and tries to pull him off but it becomes a threesome...the mother is in the middle with the man taking her while she is playing with her daughter...but they are no longer human. The male is red with black claws, the mother is in her 20s, green with Asian-like, black eyes, and a tail, the wife is blue and snake-like...
Every time I turn the page back; they change; grow more demonic...
I turn the pages quickly
The dream becomes a cartoon....there is fire everwhere...no ground, just flames. There is a hand that begins to paint on the empty space...
First it draws a crucifix, then two very large pilot-style sunglasses...then two more crosses. She paints blood all over this image then adds the 2 thieves and Jesus onto the crosses. Blood is dripping all along the edges of this object and there are these huge, thin needles painted all over the crosses...
The painting it rotated; it is a pumpkin, being painted on halloween...but there is still nothing around this woman...its just fire.
The sunglasses of the painting belong to a screaming skull. She shows the pumpkin to a bunch of dark shadows who stare at it awestruck...
''This is fear...''
I turn the pages again....I see glimpses of this woman and a man, a strong dude...just running, partying, doing crazy things in a world of chains, metal, cloth, silk, bondage...there is no ground; just endless catwalks and ledges...it is very surreal; fantasy style of artwork much like Luis Royo...
They are living life...but in a twisted fashion...
Then they are confronted...by a demonic, fantasy version of the grim reaper...
The pictures are just that now...pictures...as I read the comic...but I hear their voices...
''For the ancestors...we need more ancestors'' Death tells them...
''I never knew,'' the blond responds, ''That by turning our backs to Death, we turned our backs to Jesus...''
It is a cartoon now...the man is pinned down and razor wire is forced upon his toes, slashing them apart as Death says...
''His blood is for us all...the blood of Christ''
I see the a hill surrounded by blood and fire; I see Jesus on the cross with the two theives, with the needles coming out of the wood...
I panic. I start flipping through the comic as fast as I can but someone forces me to keep turning back. There is something it wants me to see...
I start waking up in real life and the dream gets very mixed up. I am reading now that it is dozens of years later; space stations and ships, very fantasy still....the blond is leading another person through this space station that has spikes and black and rust everywhere...there is something going on in the ship's ''auditorium''
they arrive...there are people everywhere....cloaked and a large cloaked person in the middle of this reception...
the last page is the author's credits...something slams the book closed
I wake up.
....why can't I have normal dreams...

Nightmare on Elmstreet Review
General | Posted 15 years agoNightmare on Elm Street, like Halloween and Jason before it, was one of those movies I missed out as a kid. I saw the original Nightmare for the first time about 5 years ago and before that I saw New Nightmare and Freddy Vs Jason. But I was never ignorant on Freddy Kruger; who could be? The man is an icon of the ages; as recognizable as Ronald MacDonald. I knew he was a brutal killer who was both funny as well as horrific and I knew the basic overall plot of the movies and how they interetwined etc etc.
I also knew that Robert Englund was the face of Freddy for every single film. Unlike Jason and Micheal which had been recast over the years, Freddy was the slasher god for the simple fact that he had a presence, a personality. He was a ruthless killer but he had fun doing it.
As the movies went on, Freddy went from killer to somewhat of a funnyman. Even Robert said that the movies grew more and more corny as time went on, using pop-culture references more than actual scares.
The Power Glove is bad...So bad...
Eventually people stopped fearing Kruger and started cheering him on. He was an anti-hero; someone who you wanted to win, to slaughter and laugh at his one-liners. He was on kid's lunch boxes, t-shirts, and posters.
So how do you take such an established personality and remake him with a new actor? Sure that is easy with Jason and Myers; just get some huge buff dude to put on a mask and never speak. But Freddy has a voice.
So they cast Watchman star Jackie Earle Haley who supposedly stole every scene he was in during the Watchmen (never saw it)
Did he do this film justice? Let's find out.
Story
The story is no Oscar winner by any means. It's a slasher film and you get everything you'd expect from a slasher film (well almost lol but I will get to that in a second). You have your characters:
The cute blond
The asshole ex-boyfriend
The best friend everyone loved who bites it real fast to kick-start everything.
The non-believing, robotic parents who seem never to care that their kids are being butchered one-by-one.
The only non-cliche are the medicated friend and the quiet artist...Quinten and Nancy. They can be considered cliche at first but actually evolve *GASP* as the movie goes on which in turns elevates them from the cliche list of characters
OMG
The others are so cliche, however, that it is almost comforting. It follows the slasher formula to a T. Sure, people will probably respond by telling me this is a bad thing but honestly what do you expect out of slasher films? They are not meant to have these very deep characters because they'll be slaughtered before the movie's end. In fact, they are usually meant for you to WANT them to die just to be entertained.
But let me point this out. These cliches are NOT the in-your-face obnoxious characters that you usually see. They are more accurate to real teenagers than the over-the-top characters typically seen.
For example; Asshole ex-boyfriend actually steps up to be protective to his girl as well as his other friends. He isn't some coward who you are rooting to die.
And the cute blond? SHE NEVER GETS NAKED OR HAS SEX! OMG!! BREAKING THE RULES! In fact, she is portrayed as the main character for quite some time.
So they are cliche in character type, but never as actual characters.
Anyways, I digress.
The story is the same as the original. Teenagers are having nightmares that turn out to be fatal. They try to figure out the reason behind these murders only to discover that they are being caused by a man named Fred Kruger. With a little investigating and forcing their non-cooperative parents to talk, they find out the truth behind Fred and why he wants to extract his revenge on the town's people by slaughtering their kids. One by one the teens are butchered until the last survivors decide to do something and stop the madman once and for all.
However there are some very important details that have been altered for this version. I thought people knew this all the time, but judging by the review's I've seen for this movie, apparently no one has bothered to piece together the hints about Kruger. Kruger was not only a child killer but Spoiler: a child MOLESTER as well. . I always thought this was very obvious but it seems people were a bit too dense to figure this out. The only reason they didn't blatantly say this like Wes Craven wanted in the original was due to the fact there was a very publicized case going on at the time and he didn't want to be insensitive at what was going on.
Furthermore, Freddy isn't after the kids to get revenge on their parents like in the original, but is after the kids for causing his death. Makes a lot more sense really.
The cast
First I will discuss the adults. One thing that bothered me in the originals and still does in this film, is the fact the parents completely disregard everything that is going on. So what if a kid's chest explodes for no reason. So what if huge claw marks resembling those a specific man whom they thought dead is reappearing on their children's bodies. As long as they keep their terrible secret safe that's all that matters.
I just want to smack each parent. They NEVER react properly in these movies which is always face-palm inducing.
Next let's go down the Teenagers.
Kris, the blond, is portrayed originally as the main character of the film; she's the one who begins piecing together the fact that everyone is sharing the same dream and begins the ''investigation''. Unlike blonds in most slashers, she is neither dumb nor slutty. In fact she is very sensible and tries to figure things out after the first murder.
Her asshole exboyfriend is not your typical ''I hate the world and treat my girl like shyt'' bastard. He has jealousy issues hence why they broke up to begin with and while he's a prick, he does step up and tries to sooth not only his ex girlfriend but also keep from starting panic by trying to get the others to forget about the dreams. He even becomes somewhat of a protector but sadly it fails miserably.
Quintin is a likeable but troubled kid who's dad is the school's psychiatrist. Stress among other things has forced him to be given a subscription of Adderall which is basically speed for kids with ADHD. He uses these pills to keep himself awake and he ends up being Nancy's partner in trying to figure out who Kruger really is.
Nancy is the main character of the film. A quiet girl troubled by terrible nightmares (which she portrays in her artwork) whose past has a very deep meaning to Kruger. She is the reason Kruger toys with his victims; so that they provide just enough information to lure her towards an old elementary school to figure out what it is he wants with her. She also evolves the most; starting off as a very meek, quiet girl to a strong heroine who actually has the balls to not only talk back to Freddy, but also attack him and defend herself at some points.
Let's get to the nitty-gritty. Let's talk about Freddy.
Freddy is the star of the film, no duh, but it is the fact that he has this great presence on screen. He is not some wise-cracking smart ass (he has 1 joke in the whole film and his other ''jokes'' are actually him using bits from the kids past to force them to remember him) but a very bitter, very ANGRY person. He purposely toys with his victims, creeping up on them, showing them the corpses of their friends, and just over-all scaring the hell out of them before slaughtering them.
The eerie part is the fact that Freddy can kill these kids anytime he desires but he wants them to remember him. He toys with them, teases them and shows them glimpses of his past for the purpose of getting Nancy back to the preschool so that she could remember everything about him.
What is great about Freddy is how he was when he was alive. We get to see what Fred Kruger was like before his murder and it's polar opposite to what he became. He was actually a very meek man who worked as a maintenance man at a kindergarten. He was a very human character who experienced fear as well as lust among other disgusting desires. After his murder, he becomes Freddy, this cold, angry, hate-filled monster which, as I said, is polar opposite of how he was when he was alive.
This contrast shows just how much hatred Freddy had against the kids who caused his death. While his human side was by no means a saint, he was still a frail coward that was nothing like his sadistic undead side.
This man, by far, has proven himself worthy of wearing the glove.
Review
I've glanced through some of the reviews for this movie and they are just annoying as they are idiotic. Some people bitch that Freddy never made his classic one-liners and was too serious. Others are angry that his face looked the way it did (he's a burn victim for god's sake! This is what burn victims REALLY look like), and others are going off about Freddy being Spoiler: A child molester but, again, he was ALWAYS that way so I just don't get their point.
But I digress...it is not my job to rip on their reviews.
I loved the movie. I loved the murders (people claim they weren't ''artistic or creative'' whatever the hell that means. I'd rather see Freddy butcher people properly than the cheesy styles he did in the originals. Some times I think nostalgia blinds people to how corny the originals after the 1st really were).
Freddy stole the show with each scene he was in and while the ''scares'' were pretty much the loud BAM sound followed by a sudden appearance of Freddy (which is sadly very typical in slasher films now), they didn't detract the fact that Freddy was very creepy.
There is an interesting moment in this movie that portrays Freddy as an innocent person and that is why he is after the kids, not the parents; because the kids lied about him which led to his death. It was a very good take and I won't spoil the truth ;)
The final confrontation was just amazing. It is good seeing characters not sit back and cower like little bitches but actually fight back. What I really like is the fact that the movie really plays on Freddy's need to have the kids believe in him. There are several moments when the teens try to ignore or turn away from him only for him to force them to stare into his eyes.
''LOOK AT ME!'' he screams at one point when Nancy closes her eyes and turns away from him. This is shown a lot in the final nightmare sequence and it really proves that Freddy may be sick and psychotic, but he is also slightly desperate that his victims believe in him.
What I really love are the ''Micro-naps''; an occurrence where the brain shuts down for brief moments if the body is deprived from sleep. This causes a lot of intense moments near the end of the film for it becomes apparent that Quinten and Nancy are no longer safe even though they are awake.
Finally the ending. It is a LOT more satisfying than the original movie's ending and for once the actors are SMART in how they handle things (looking at you idiots in Friday the 13th). When you see the movie, you'll know what I mean.
The movie has its flaws; mostly the parents but other than that, it was a fantastic reboot and tribute to one of the most iconic characters of horror history. While it may not be a scary film, it is still entertaining as hell and I am going to see it again in theaters shortly.
I give Nightmare a 9/10.
***SPECIAL TREAT! TRIVIA***
There is a moment in the movie where Freddy screams ''WHY WON'T YOU DIE!'' at one of the teenagers. This is a homage to Freddy vs Jason. Freddy says the same thing when he struggles to kill Jason in the dream world.
Nancy begins searching the internet for info on Freddy. She finds a video blog of an asian kid who is talking about having nightmares. This kid is none other than Aaron Yoo who played Chewie in Friday the 13th's remake. A nice little crossover in reference to Johnny Depp (who was in Nightmare on Elm Street and Jason 2)
Not really a spoiler, but just in case:
Spoiler:
There is a moment where Nancy is drowning in a pool of blood. The blood breaks through the ceiling of the room below pouring blood into the room and Nancy onto a bed. This is a reference to how Johnny Depp died in the original Nightmare. The only difference is the blood is pouring from the ceiling rather than the bed

Farewell
General | Posted 16 years agoI am slowly phasing out my time here on FA. Not because I dun like furries anymore but to be honest nothing catches my interest like it used to. After a while with so many watchings, art blends together. Mainly the porn.
But I am not saying you are all bad artists!! I WOULD NEVER say that. Some of you are amazing and others have talent I am envious of. It is just time to slowly cut down what I am doing.
I still plan on posting stories ^.^ I still plan on commenting pictures, but I will be cutting my watchings down dramatically to those whom I still get a kick out of seeing or who are my friends.
If I unwatch you its not because I don't like your work. I swear. I am just pinpointing things to make it easier on me. Everyone I've ever watched is the most talented I've ever seen ^.^
I will stick around but I will be only doing my stories or fan pictures for the time being ^.^

3D commissions are open
General | Posted 16 years agoOkay...yeah so...many people know my work that revolves around taking your 2D image and making it a 3D image. I call these "Wood Carvings" and I was thinking if anyone wants me to turn their work into a 3D piece, I will do so :)
So...
5$ sounds good for a piece. I will charge a little more (never over 10$) if the piece is very complicated.
Examples:
5$:http://www.furaffinity.net/full/2362559/
http://www.furaffinity.net/full/2504574/
10$: http://www.furaffinity.net/full/2661531/
The reasoning is, the more complicated the scene with lighting, textures, and overall design takes a lot longer to make. The other two are very simple in design and just has a lot of polygons that were easy to do.
So...my paypal!
Kigerwolff[at]yahoo.com
please note me here and lemme know what you want :) I NEED a 2D image to do this though. and I DO NOT re-model characters in 3D. They will become "Wood Carvings" like in the examples.
*puppy eyes*

Where I've been
General | Posted 16 years agoWell mainly just been busy with school, work, and finding time to myself but to be really honest, I just haven't been all that interested in the site. It's not that you all don't produce anything amazing anymore, it's just I lately just feel out of the loop now.
I have made friends here and whatnot but outside of those very few I feel like work, interest, etc has just dropped for both me and those watching me.
I'll still post things for those who enjoy my work but I will be cutting a lot down; mainly my who I am watching and things of that nature. It's cool seeing their work but after a while porn is porn.
It's also just a bummer seeing such nice people but never really getting a chance to get to know them. Kinda feel left out...it's like seeing a group having fun and being on the outskirts. Sometimes you get to chat and invited in but mostly its empty
Blah I am just rambling. Does this make sense?

Saw 6 review
General | Posted 16 years agoFor 6 years the SAW franchise has been the leader in Halloween released movies. When, ages ago, horror films flooded the theaters during this sacred month of spookiness and creeps, now we get very little in the sense of true horror, suspense, and fear.
The SAW franchise is known for its low budget, suspense, terror, amazing story-telling, and traps. Now as time has gone on, there has been ups and downs in the series, as is expected with multiple directors, different writers, and a very complicated storyline.
Saw 1 is by far the best of the series.
Saw 2 continues the story but revolves around the actions of many instead of a few. Some people were turned off by this but I enjoyed it.
Saw 3 returns to the choices of a Few
Saw 4 was a mind-f*ck in a half but I loved it
Saw 5 is the weakest of the series but it still gave a lot in terms of the actual plot.
So, does SAW 6 give a breath of fresh air to the franchise or is it time to throw in the towel...
Plot
This is a NO SPOILER plot. I will not get into details here because almost everything in this movie is a key scene to the series.
The movie opens up with its usual affair; two people having to battle one another to survive a new jigsaw trap (this time set up by Detective Hoffman who took up John's legacy in SAW 4). After the trap has been completed, Hoffman is called into the office. The head of the FBI investigation (The older man from SAW 5) is continuing the ongoing investigation of the Jigsaw murders.
In Saw 5, Hoffman frames Agent Strahm as Jigsaw's apprentice. When things don't add up, however, the FBI begin suspecting Hoffman's involvement. As a result, Hoffman is forced to set up the biggest and supposedly final trap that John wanted finished.
Hoffman is joined by a 3rd party to complete this trap while at the same time trying to avoid the FBI as they grow closer and closer to discovering his true identity as jigsaw's apprentice.
The trap this time revolves around 1 man. A crooked, cold-hearted insurance dealer who makes a living denying people coverage and basically choosing who lives and who will die. His name is Will and he is the newest victim.
Through 4 terrible games, Will has 90 minutes to get through each test in order to save his family. Does he make it in time or will he succumb to the pain of Jigsaw's legacy?
Now I cannot get any more detailed into this movie without mentioning major spoilers but here is what I CAN say.
1. Every question ever left unanswered, is answered.
2. The plot twists are amazing. Two of them I had NO CLUE were about to happen and the 3rd was straight out of left field; one of those things where you think you know what's going to happen but it is totally different.
3. There WILL BE a SAW 7. SAW 7 will (85% sure) be the last of the series! Everything has been answered save for 1 final question that was made in this version.
4. We see more flashbacks of John as well as Hoffman's involvement with John's traps from SAW 3.
Story
Story is what drives the SAW movies. People can claim they are all about gore but they would be wrong. There is a very involve storyline of the series but sadly, the 5th movie fell very short in delivering the suspense and the ability to suck you into the movie.
After the 5th one, I was worried sick about the 6th. How would they redeem themselves? Saw 5 was not horrible but it was easily the weakest and there are few movies that pull themselves out of a weak episode out of their saga.
Saw 6's storyline was perfectly spot on. We get a lot more involvement with the characters and everything feels more natural. The suspense, the tension, the overall atmosphere of the movie is just amazing.
We get a lot of behind the scenes flashbacks that REALLY flesh out John's character. We even discover a lot more of other character's involvement with the series and how X got captured or why Y was chosen.
Will, the new victim, is a f*cking bastard but as he is put through these tests, you cannot help rooting for him. Here is a man literally being thrown into the depths of hell and he is clawing, tooth and nail, to save those he loves.
There is an undertone of political statements in this movie that adds to the realism; from health care to insurance and realty scams, it makes the characters more sympathetic sine we all heard stories or know people who have been conned by these heartless corporations.
(Keep an eye out for Hillary Clinton at one point. No joke)
Saw 6 is by far the strongest out of the entire saga, include 1, when it comes to storyline.
And that, my friends, is something I don't say lightly.
Movie Review
Wow...what can I say about this film?
It was F*CKING AWESOME. My heart was racing throughout the entire film and it was truly a roller coaster; everything was perfectly paced from Hoffman's trouble with the FBI, to the Mysterious 3rd party I won't divulge's involvement, to the large game that was taking place throughout the film.
This movie, like the first one, focuses a lot on morality. Where 2,3,4, and 5 were mainly about pitting person A against person B, this one returns to its roots in the sense where it is 1 man who is forced to make moral choices which are all meant to make him realize how important human life really is.
Like Gordon in SAW 1 who's game was to kill Adam to save his family, Will is forced to make choices that involve others. Watching this man being tortured on such a deep moral and emotional level really makes the reality of the situation come forward. His acting was pretty spot-on for a low budget him.
I WON'T DO IT! I WON'T LET GO! I SWEAR! I WON'T LET YOU DIE!
Ah...and the final test...
Ouch...major ouch.
I have to say, the ending for this one was, like all the others, unexpected. I didn't see that coming and when it did i was like OMG!
Good acting, brutal traps, and the best story of the entire series, SAW 6 has redeemed the franchise so well that even I, who wanted this to be the final of the series, cannot wait for 7 to be released.
This is a nightmare of a roller coaster and damn it to hell I am going again for another ride.
I give SAW 6...

Nervous and advice?
General | Posted 16 years agoI am getting close to the end of my book and its getting to be a little nerve wracking. I have changed a lot with the last handful of chapters. I am getting to the very tip of the surging climax of total hardcore bad-assness...
So far I am pretty happy with the results. I've deleated a lot and rewrote a lot. The rule is if I am not happy with the result of what I wrote for a long period of time, I just delete it and try a new angle.
Well as I am finishing up my book...I am growing nervous. There is only 1 part in the book I need to go over and alter before I feel complete with this entire thing. I will be asking some people to read it and give me their advice before I take the plunge...
I will be buying the 2009 Writers Bible which list all the publishers. I will be sending it out soon after that and I am scared out of my mind...
I never thought I would get this far. My story is a little shorter (at the moment that is) then its original versions but the story has evolved so much that I am pleased. I got rid of the humor and made it a lot more serious and a lot darker but that is a good thing. I've also focused a lot more on the sense of anger, vengeance, and insanity which is what it needed.
Advice: I am wondering...what constitutes as a chapter? For me my chapters last between 4-6 pages single spaced and my style is that I try to get 2 characters points of views per chapter. Some are longer, some a bit shorter. Does this matter? I personally don't think so but *Shrugs*
Wish me luck...

Rave + Life Update
General | Posted 16 years agoHey everyone. I am still working on the Rave picture. I have a lot of characters done so far and I will be finishing up the ideas for the actual party scene before I start modeling. Thanks for the patience. I have not forgotten about it just been busy lately.
My brother got back from jail and is living with all of us (parents, me, his daughter). It's a bit odd but things are quieter than I had expected. My niece also got bitten by a Pit Bull and almost lost her eye but thank god she is fine. Stitches came out and there will be little to no scarring.
I'm doing well in my buisness class though when it comes to work I am just getting tired of manual labor. It's just the same shyt every damn day. Thankfully I am back to writing now that things are a wee bit calmer.
As for gaming, I am still working on Persona 4. I'm 63 hours into the game which is just f*cking epic. If you have a PS2 hurry and buy this game before it goes up in price. It is AWESOME.
Also picked up The Witcher. It is a fantastic game! I had to get the uncensored patch so I could get the blood and nudity but after than I am loving the shyt out of this game.
Another video episode of WTF? Games you never played got featured on the front page of Gametrailers.com So this is the 5th video I've had featured. I am really proud of this fact XD
I am also getting ready to get back into the Music Video editing that I used to do. I just need time since it can take up to 10 hours to do a video and I cannot stop once I start :(
so yeah, that's everything in a nutshell.
LOVE YOU ALL

#9 movie review
General | Posted 16 years agoSo what is 9? Well it is an animated movie directed by Shane Acker and it is a PG-13 film about these little Sack boys for lack of a better term who are, as far as we know, the last surviving beings on earth who must face off against the Machines. Basically it's a very uncomplicated version of the Terminator movies but with a 1950's, steam-punk style to it. It was originally an 11 minute film that was given a shot at the big screen. Now the question is: Shall you go see 9 or turn your back on this version of the future?
Story
The story is very simple. Basically what happens is like in Matrix or Terminator, men build a machine, called Machine, to help them build peace keepers. Machine, however, turns on its creators and ends up trying to wipe out the world. In this apocalyptic realm, we are introduced to a small sack-boy-like critter whose only title is the number 9 painted on his back. He joins up with the other 8 of his kind and together they try to take out the Machine once and for all.
Seriously; that is all there is to the plot.
Characters
Here is the basic run down of the 9 sack-boys.
1 is the Leader. He acts a lot like a cardinal of a church or a political leader but refuses to face the problem at hand due to being afraid. He hides his fear by forcing his power on others when in fact he is quite powerless himself.
2 is one of the older sack-boys. He is an inventor and an explorer. He is best friends with 5.
Mute sisters whose eyes act like recording devices. 3 and 4 act as the historians and they are obsessed with recording all that around them and preserving their memories.
5 too is an inventor. He has helped 2 map out the desolate world they live in and will do anything for his friends.
6 has lost his mind; he is obsessed with these drawings of a strange device as well as the concept of souls. He is a simple but very kind fellow.
7 just kicks ass. Total ass. Hard core Darth Maul shyt. She rocks.
8 is the only one truly loyal to 1. He is a quiet, growling bouncer who is very vicious with his butcher's knife.
9 is our hero. After accidentally resurrecting the Machine, he tries to right his wrong by figuring out a way to destroy it once and for all. He is also the last one to awaken
The Machine is the evil villain. It can create machines out of anything from bone to knives to cloth to scrap metal. It is actually a very sadistic looking creature that is pretty kick ass to watch.
Plot
The plot starts off with 9 awakens to this strange, ruined world. He meets up with 2 soon after while 2 is exploring for new equipment to help them. Unfortunately soon after this, 2 is captured by one of the Machine's minions. 9 seeks out help and meets up with 1, 5,6, and 8. He is able to convince 5 to help find 2 but in the process accidentally awakens the Machine. Now he must convince them all to fight against this monster before it can continue its work in building more creations.
Style
Of the style of his movie is just amazing. Besides the breath-taking backgrounds, the characters themselves are just a work of art. So much detail has been put into these living beings of metal and fabric that you forget they aren't human after a while.
What is really great though is the action. There is plenty of it; actually this movie is more of an action film than a story-teller and while it fails to work in some movies that need a good plot but instead focuses on action (Terminator 4), this is a case where simpler is better which is a point I shall get to in a second.
The machines are just so bad-ass. There are these walkers straight out of a 50s sci-fi movie, spider robots, a nasty crow-like creature with knives for a beak, and a bitchin four-legged beast with a cat-skull for a face. Very awesome!
The main characters themselves are all constructed differently as well. While of the same concept, each has their own unique look and feel. While some are made of burlap sack, others look like they were made from socks or thin leather. It's really cool to see them in action and their expressions are amazing.
And the environments...Eyecandy all around. Just very, very well made indeed.
Review
There are movies out there where they try to shove a huge complicated plot down your throat when it is not needed (Matrix) and there are movies that have nothing but action with the plot tacked on as an after-thought (Ultraviolet - which i loved personally). Well 9 finds that perfect balance between the two. The plot is deep enough to keep you involved and guessing but simple enough to never drag down the moment. The action is paced just far apart from one moment to the next where you are never bored nor are you tired of seeing a fight take place. It's a dance that so few movies pull off and 9 does it beautifully.
Now 9 will not win awards for story nor should it but this is not some mindless action film. It's well written with great voice acting and a lot of suspenseful scenes. I loved watched the flashbacks to the actual war and what I really enjoyed was the fact that while this was an animated film, it doesn't coddle you. You are going to see humans getting shot and they are going to die. You are going to see wars and some very creepy and disturbing character designs for some of the minions; they don't hold back. There may not be any blood but it doesn't matter. It's still a dark movie that may scare young kids. It sure as hell had me on the edge of my seat.
So what is my opinion really? 9 is one of those movies you can go see and just sit back and relax and enjoy. You won't have your brain f*cked with a needlessly pointlessly complicated story. You won't feel like your intelligence is being insulted because the director is jerking off with explosions and fireworks just for the sake of blowing shyt up without giving a damn about plot. It is a simple, good, action-packed movie with a nice plot and beautiful visuals.
The way I see 9 is this:
The writer/director had an idea for a story. He wrote his idea down from beginning to end. He didn't add anything that wasn't needed. 9 is a movie that knows what it is supposed to be and it tries not to achieve any other status. It's as if the movie said We are going to tell a story and end it when it ends. No need to drag it out. No need to add huge romance or big twist at the end, we come in, do what the story needs, and end it and it works perfectly.
Imagine 9 is a young-teen book. 115 pages long; short, simple, to the point and a fun trip while it lasted.
I give 9 a 9/10.

Now for something serious: updates
General | Posted 16 years agoWell finally broke 100 pages and got some good violence as well as some big parts of the story. However now that I have stopped for a day or so I feel like that last chapter I had finished was not good enough. It feels wrong.
Let me explain.
There is a scene in my original version of the book that easily made a transition for one of the 3 big twists. Unfortunately the way I have written the character this time around this scene is no longer going to be used. This also means I am deleting a minor character; a troll named Lyen who was originally supposed to re-appear in the 3rd book but he no longer has a part so he's gone.
So now the twist...This is a hard scene. I've gotten to the point where I've hinted that there is something more than going on than I am letting on at the moment, but the huge scene that I had created...well its not able to return. So this means the whole section before the final climatic of my book...will have to be from scratch
*runs hands through mane* This is hard for me. It's been ages since I wrote something new in my book; especially for this one which has always followed a certain, strict timeline.
So I am deleting my last chapter. I would also like to ask some questions to my friends here.
My books revolve around the concept of Realms. Each realm has different attributes and feelings. Some are your typical fantasy, some steam punk style, some modern, futuristic, etc etc.
This realm I am writing about is basically in a 13th century/LOTR fantasy time period but there are modern-ish twists which basically revolve around how people speak and act; such as the knowledge of how to handle a crime scene and whatnot (kinda like Crane from Sleepy Hollow movie).
Well I ask you guys this: One of these characters, Kiger actually, introduced to the city the concept of pipes and water pressure. A primitive version but still one that works enough to build showers and baths inside the castle and guilds and other places that can afford it. In my book this introduction of a water system allows for the foundation of a sewer system/pipes to the major guilds. Some of these pipes are large enough to walk through which is a basis of an invasion 2 characters undertake to a rival guild.
Is this concept for this setting too far-fetched for anyone? These are not plastic pipes but stone and concrete.

You know what sucks?
General | Posted 16 years agoMy take on
itsuko103's journal *ish a parody ^_^
You know what sucks? Being a handsome good looking guy who is a member of a website that is primarily pornographic. And there are many reasons for this suckage but I will narrow it down to 4 big issues:
1: If we compliment a female/male porn artist on their work and then try to start up a conversation we are after something in their pants!
That may be true damn it but its still not nice to assume! >.<
2: Do you know how hard it is for us men to try and talk to women on this site? I mean seriously! Just this week I shouted to 4 people who all had chicks as their avatars and they were all men!
Big...scary...mean...men...
*rocks back and forth in the corner* So much....beatings...
3: Don't you realize the guts it takes for most men to come out and admit they are fwapping to your hot avatar or fursona? I mean its rough on us! Seriously! We can only take so much friction down there before it hurts! What are we supposed to do when it comes to sexy art ? Just admire the shadows?? NO!
4: And when we do find that nice person who would like to divulge into a mature conversation of pouncings, tickles, and ear nomming, that things can sometimes get out of control because some of those people who let us into their pervy world....
are...so...clingy...
*eeees* so much...clingingness!

General | Posted 16 years agoSo today I was in a foul mood. There is a long history between me and my book. The summary version is that I first wrote it in 1997 when I was a freshman in high school. it took mea year to finish. I than did the 2nd and third books which took 6 months each since they were easier story wise. Unfortunatly I refuse to send my work out to get published because I never felt like the first one worked the way it needed. There were things that just didn't feel right.
So its been 12 years later and I am doing what I hope is the final rough draft of the book. I have already hit the first major scene and I ahad paused yesterday just before the 2nd major scene that acts as the books main turning point. I was in a foul mood because I was worried I had lost touch with my characters. It took me a while but once I got into the action everything just flowed out of me. I did some of the most intense action, drama, and emotional parts of my book and I am impressed with how it all turned out. My main character who is cruel and calculating has really shown a strange side of him when he confronted a girl he's been hunting for the past 10 years. There is a strange bond between these two enemies; she understands him more so than anyone else as she is the only victim to survive his attacks and he knows he is a monster and understands why she won't give in to his demands. Yet there is also a panic here by my main character and he actually begs which is so unlike him. It makes perfect sense though and I loved it!
I did 12 whole pages bringing my count to 74. I need at least 76 more pages to hit the word limit of publication and I know I can easily surpass it. I cannot wait!
