I am open for 5- count 'em- 5 sketch slots- before I change some prices. The next few days are the last to reserve slots for these prices. The bust sketch price will remain the same, however waist up and full body will be changing after this round of commissions are done. Currently, all sketches slots are empty. While I am taking these now, these are to reserve them- if you need to wait until pay day to pay, but want to reserve, you may, simply work it out with me privately.

So I'm gonna have to dig up the drivers for the ancient one (which wacom doesn't support anymore) and see if I can get the ol' boy kickin' while I figure something else out. I know my Intuous 3 is not gonna be a long-term solution (see: lack of support).

If anyone has a tablet still in support/decent shape, but wants to sell for whatever reason, I'm in the market.

Specs I'm looking for:
-8192 Pressure sensitivity levels
-medium size
-tilt support
-Win10 compatible
-CSP compatible
-modern-ish (can be a few years old, but, as I said above, still in support/drivers/etc.)
-decent condition (scratches happen, even with most careful use, but I do want it to be functional for a few more years)
-battery-free pen preferred but not a dealbreaker


I'm not sure I'm ready to jump into a Cintiq or something, as that's like $800+ even used, and uhhhh, hahaha, no, I do not have the money.


Willing to do money, art, or a combo of both to pay you! I know this is a long shot even posting this, but everything helps.

Ok, I've been an artist for years and years and years, I'm old (32 tomorrow). I'm not perfect, and you never stop learning, but I know what I'm about.

I'm not calling out any single person here, but I keep seeing people call a fully finished, rendered work a "sketch" with increasing and concerning regularity.

Language can change over time, and objectivity is a myth, but in many trades it's incredibly important we're on the same page. If I'm buying, I want to know what I'll get, and if I'm selling, I need to know what is expected. Cars and trains are both land vehicles, but people would raise a brow should I call one the other. One is infinitely more complex and expensive to make than the other, even if we're just looking at time sunk.

Just thinking about things. I really like how FA has sections on the front page now, for art and music and writing. That way I can have all of it in one place while I'm browsing.

Maybe it would be cool to have section that's just for ychs and adopts, too. That way, if I'm looking for some, I can go there, but if I'm not, all the other art won't get diluted by the multiple reminders people do.

A "stream announcement" option would be great, too! I always feel a tad guilty uploading my eyecatches, only to delete them, later. A little section to see who's streaming would be a really awesome integration!

I'm not even sure where you'd make a suggestion of this sort, and don't have much hope to be listened to, sadly.

It's been a few weeks, and I just realized I hadn't posted about this.

I have the start of an RSI (repetitive stress injury) in my hands/wrists. I'm not going to claim it's Carpal Tunnel Syndrome as I don't know, but I do know that long hours of being on the computer were really screwing me up.

I've gotten a doctor's appointment, as well as having stepped back from constant work.

so I have slowed in my work. All my commissioners know this, but I just wanted to explain to anyone else. Please take care of your hands!

Sometimes there's just topics you don't really want to see. I really want to not have to see certain things when I'm browsing the front page.

There's especially things that are technically safe for work, but are things that upset me, so tagging my account safe for work doesn't do anything for me. I'm not even trying to shame people for what they like, I don't mind that they are making these things, but I would like to be able to tailor if I see them or not when I'm browsing. It would be a sort of don't look if you don't like it thing, but there is no option to not look if I just want to find new artists by browsing the front page.

It's just a nice functionality to disable certain tags, and I would like to see it in the future.

You know, sometimes I think about the fact that I sign my art work my online handle almost exclusively. I have to, generally, so people can find my work.

Playing the online game rather makes your handle more significant than your actual name.

That's not a bad thing- artists have used psuedonyms since forever. Hell, one of my favorites, the poet Tristan Tzara, didn't use his own name. It fascinates me a bit. To lots of people, I'm just HELLBREAKFAST. A name of my choosing.
