Posted a year agotbh guys i think i'm gonna pack it in. i need to disconnect from everyone, abandon my socials, and just post art for the sake of expanding my portfolio, attracting employment, and making stray $$$ here and there. its gonna be kinda rough given i've had the same accounts for like 10+ years on most platforms but like. who cares lmao
i just can't stand the idea of anyone who knows me or "knows" me having to put up w/ my presence anymore. i doubt i'd be hard to relocate if/when i do make new accounts but i discourage ppl from looking for me. maybe i'll fail at this - that'd be such a me thing to do - but i think it's worth a try

i'm gonna have to move soon. like, within the next month or two soon probably. this means a lotta sucky shit is happening bc of course it does. i can't get straight answers on most anything, i'm gonna have to leave a lot of things i love behind, and i still have to drag my ass through schoolwork. tbh its been hard for me to get much done bc i've just been so fuckin blue lmao
this is the primary reason why its taking me a bit to get back into commissions. anyone whos on the wait list is still there, and so long as they don't revoke their interest, i'll be getting to them as soon as i can. i just dont wanna take anyones money til i know for certain i can deliver in a reasonably short time, ya know?

Posted a year agothanks to everyone who's reached out about ordering art. i'm deeply grateful, which is part of why the prices are as low as they are. with this income source back and paired w/ my new (if temporary) job, this will make a difference in me getting on stable footing. in some ways things have only gotten rougher since The Incident, but i think it'll end up alright. i owe that to the kindness of other people, the kind who bark and meow included
again, thank you. you don't know what this means to me. it's so nice to get back into drawing all these different kinds of make believe animalpeople. i didn't realize how much i'd missed it til now. i ain't got much to offer - i've got that triple threat combo of small brain, heart, AND ass - but i've got my drawing hand and a lotta callouses. maybe a spot of free shit on occasion would be good for the microscopic altruist in me

no i am not joking or exaggerating when i say that several nights ago i made an attempt on my own life. i am not interested in detailing anything that happened that i havent already shared. that said, bc some ppl have expressed concern, i want to make it clear that i am okay. my injuries are minor and i have been receiving outpatient psychiatric care. i am monitored for my own safety; i will not be attempting again
im so overwhelmed w emotion rn that its hard to think or write this, but theres a few things i wanna say. 1st, sorry for bein slow w art business. i will fix any issues from my end when ive hit a baseline of normality again. i will likely not be taking on more paid art work for a while, but i plan to keep creating. it IS my one true love, after all

WHAT'S THIS SHIT COST?
$15 USD an hour. Minimum of 1 hour ($15), maximum of 8 hours ($120). Payment accepted via Paypal invoices only.
WHAT AM I EVEN PAYING FOR?
All pieces will, at the very least, have lines, color, and cel shading unless the client specifically requests otherwise. More time means more rendering, detailing, and refining. The more you give, the more you get.
HOW DO I KNOW YOU'RE NOT PULLING A FAST ONE ON ME?
Proof of time taken will be in the form of a live private update; you'll be able to view low res pics of your order as I work on it. You'll be linked to where you can find these WIPs. Updates will be hourly. The final fullres art will be privately hosted for download here too. You'll have the chance to request 3 alterations for free, then $5 extra for each alteration after that.

for a long time i've denied the label of furry and have shirked association with the community, and that was probably due to several factors. furries are, according to many mainstream sources, obnoxious sex freaks who rape animals and groom children via their mascot costumes and silly animal art. despite having been fasinated with the community since i was about 10, i felt i should never align myself with it because, well, who would WANT to if THAT was all true? my friends mocked furries. anyone who asked me if i was a furry was trying to insult me. and, at the end of the day, a lot of the hatred leveled at furries came from sources of homophobia and ableism, two things i struggle to no longer internalize to this day
but i like animals! i like talking animal stories! i like making believe i'm not human! and i like so, so many of the people i've met who share the same interests. of course the freaks and assholes are here - not a single community lacks extremists - but so many furries i've met have supported, cared about, and even loved me. i've come to realize that by resisting what the community had to offer me, i was denying myself all i've ever wanted: a buncha weirdass gay artist bitches who love the same old disney toons and animal trivia that i do

i've refunded several commissions since the previous journal mentioning it, and i'm steadily working to complete the rest. some of you are aware of this as i send you updates, but i promise to those i havent that you're not forgotten. it's all just circumstantial; some orders are out of order, and some are more complex then others, but i intend to have them all done unless my clients specifically ask for refunds. i'm genuinely not sure why it's taken me so long to get all of them completed, but it could be bc of other work obligations and burnout. not tryin to excuse anything, just providing context. my dick is publicly available for kicking

commissions update 2021-2022
Posted 3 years agoto make a long story short, i've been having anxiety so bad i've been having trouble keeping in touch with people, even when it's about something important like commissions. i don't say this to excuse my actions - unless someone died or some shit, there's no good excuse for this to happen - but just to give some context as to why i dropped the ball so hard. i literally can't apologize enough, and talk is cheap anyway, so i'd like to fix it instead.
i've already sent full refunds to those who have been waiting months for their commissions, even if some amount of work has been done on them. i should've done it sooner, but i had convinced myself that i could juggle the workload that i irresponsibly allowed to bloat into unreasonable proportions. for the rest that haven't been refunded, which are mostly recent and mostly all at some stage of creation, i will be working to send updates, finish them, or, if i can't swing it, refund them in full as well.
by the by, i won't be taking on anymore commissions or ychs or anything like that until i am secure in the knowledge that i'll do things correctly and professionally. idc if this takes me a few weeks or a few years, i simply can't set myself - or anyone else - up for this situation again. props to everyone who's been saintly amounts of patient, all my respect towards those who reached out to voice their complaints, and my apologies for the inconvenience to everybody who wanted to place a new order. you've all extended me an unmatchable kindness that i hope i can pay back someday. i also understand and will not judge anyone who would rather not do business with me in future.
please just be secure in the knowledge that none of you did anything wrong, and that i am deeply sorry. i hate making promises, but i can absolutely guarantee you all will either be getting your art completed or seeing your money returned to you.
