Gosh, I haven't been active here in a while. Wow, so... uhhh... in the past couple of years I've finally gotten my degree and an actual person job, started hosting a bunch of improv panels at local cons, and adopted two kittens. I also finally gotten around to getting some commissions done, so... art incoming! I'm mainly on twitter and telegram nowadays. If anyone winds up reading this... how've you been? X3

What day are you getting there?
Short answer, Friday. Long answer, commuting down for a few hours on Thursday, then back up to work Friday, then coming down after work on Friday.
How long are you going?
Until Sunday evening! Though I'm gonna have to work Sunday morning. Blech.
How are you traveling?
Driving down from MA, all on my lonesome. Car's gonna rack up mileage!

Are there any panels you might be attending?
Well! I'll be a panelist on Furry Little Liars at 9 PM on Friday, and I'll be running my improv panel for the second year in a row at 9 PM Saturday! Also might be in the masquerade.
What do you look like?
An asian guy with shaggy hair, and most likely a vest. It's my furry con vest, it should be recognizable! Also, a cat. Meow.
Will you be suiting?
I'll be running around in my partial at some point, sure!

Super late Anthrocon Recap

Anthrocon was a thing, it happened, it was neat. :3 Stayed in the main hotel, which was boss. A whole bunch happened, though, as usual, I only chatted with a few new people. ^^;
Oh, it was birthday con, so thanks to and 
for getting me drinks, and to and for also joining me as I became drunk for the first time (after 2-ish drinks. >>)
Other highlights included the improv panel which was always a hoot, the dances, joining a bunch of crazy fuzzbutts in consuming a vermonster, and the ever fun pub sing Sunday night with Cosmik and Rhubarb and Fox Amoore.
Very good con, much fun, yes yay.

I'll probably be at Tonic some point Friday night for a birthday drink, and I'm gonna be at the improv panel and the dances, and maybe some puppetry panels too. Might also have my eye on karaoke! If you've got my number and you wanna hang out at AC, lemme know! You can also bug me on Skype or Twitter, though I may not check those as actively at the con. I will also have a sketchbook for sketchy fun that people can draw in if they like. I'm looking forward to having a blast! ^^

Summer break!
General | Posted 11 years agoWhew! I finished my very first year of vet school yesterday, and I even think I passed! Now that it's summer I'll have a bit more free time to do stuff, which is great and awesome. X3 Expect some more arts and stuff from me eventually! ...Just as soon as I get back from my camping/leadership conference next week.

ANE was awesome! I danced so much, I can still feel it in my paws. I've cheered so much I think I left a bit of my voice in Cambridge. X3 Major thanks to
for letting us crash at his apartment over the weekend and for breakfast pancaaaakes. Seriously though, between the snow pile-up and draconian parking laws, it was really tough getting around, but the gator pulled it off. Much thanks. ^^
In addition to Danko the veggiegator, I came to the con with

Xeshaire was kind enough to let me wear her new Sergal suit for a while, so if you saw a black and purple sergal with his paws pretty much attached to his muzzle in awe during the first few days, that was me! ^^ This also meant that I got to run around in my first fursuit parade, which was super exciting. Thanks so much Xesh!
The masquerade this year had a ton of talent, especially when it came to singing. Everyone go watch this and then run over and tell
how freaking amazing she is!
I had a lot of fun talking to new people at this con, I think I've gotten a little better at not being shy and awkward. ^^;,

Speaking of dancing, catching sets by ValleyRux and Magic Ruined at the dances was amazing. I think I've danced the longest at this con than any other con. And also speaking of dancing, the dance comp this year was flipping astounding. (#PGCon. :V) There was a ton of variety and talent, and having the other dancers on stage moving along to everyone's performances really amped up the energy. And *also* speaking of dancing, I had a lot of fun at a dance workshop on Sunday, and I've got a lot of new foundations to work on. Much thanks to all the panelists for putting that together, especially

I think I've danced the longest at this con than any other con. And also speaking of dancing, the dance comp this year was flipping astounding. Oh, hi everyone! Exams have been killing me, among other obligations and responsibilities and bleeeeehhhh I've got another one tomorrow, and then I'm off to ANE!
Wanted to do a proper meme for this, but, I guess it's a bit too late for that! But yes, gonna be crashing with some friends locally and I aim to run around and have tons of fun. Got my 3DS for streetpass, a few ideas for my sketchbook, and I'm looking forward to

Went to a furbowl a couple days ago and had a BLAST with everyone who came! The first time I went to one in august wasn't as great, I was too shy (><), but this one was pretty fantastic. Definitely want to go to more!

Tonight's meal is the result of making two sets of cup noodles, and dumping in a heck ton of beef from back home. It actually comes out to a sizable portion, and tastes great!

General | Posted 11 years agoGonna keep things relatively short and sweet. Preface it with the fact that everything was AWESOME.
Came down from school on Thursday, crashed over with my con roommates, who all surprised me with an awesome badge of awesome, which was the reason for my previous squeeing.
I zipped over to the con the next morning, and just missed the beginning of opening ceremonies, but caught the tail end of it. Friday was a roam around kind of day. The one thought that kept coming to mind was how good it felt to be back in this hotel again, at this con, and how I've gotten to know so many furry friends in just one years time. I thought back to being here last year, at my very first furry convention, super excited and knowing no one, and it just felt amazing to be where I am now. Oh, Friday was also Halloween, so I ran around as Ranulf from Fire Emblem. :3 Only bad part of the day was that my muscles were all messed up from class on Thursday, so I couldn't like, lift a backpack, or tread water, or dance. x.x
Saturday was a crazy day. Friday was a build up day, and Saturday was the peak of furcon awesomeness. Well, excluding the fire alarm. I got to show some of my college friend around their first furry con ever, which was super fun and exciting. Got a high vantage point for the fursuit parade, saw an awesome dance comp, got noms, stopped briefly at the Big Gulp party a few times (GIANT rice crispy treats, and SO MANY PIES) and saw most of the masquerade and did a few improv thingies. And danced. Oh BOY did I dance. Had to make up for Friday, after all!
Sunday at a furcon is the wind down day. Starting the day off packing everything up is a thing, after all. Caught the fursuit games, ran around making my purchases, foods, and then one huge poolside game of CAH before we made our way to closing ceremonies, when the PCD *really* started kicking in. Really glad for the Dead Dog and getting to hug all my friends one more time before booking it back home to study for my 8 AM vet exam. The happy con feels have followed me to this day though. X3

Anthrocon Recap!
General | Posted 12 years agoThis. Con. Was. AWESOME. So good. So freaking good. Amazing as heck. Okay, imma stop gushing and start recounting everything I did (I have a paper trail and everything. And a good memory for llittle things)
THURSDAY
Got up early, packed everything together, and finished up door/badge art (Will post it later!) before heading over to pick up After some quick travel tips and clarifying a convention issue, we were off! ... to the mall, where I picked up an awesome cat shirt and Reverb looked for a backpack. We hit the road around noon, Reverb threw in his playlist of a million songs that we sang along to, and we honestly couldn't wait to get to Pittsburgh. We stopped at a McDonald's on one side of the Delaware with our tails and made a bunch of people smile with our goofy antics. By the time we got to Pittsburgh proper, Reverb was bouncing around in his seat and losing his shit at all the fursuiters walking around! I met up with my roommates and , along with a , unloaded the car, found a place to park, and met up with all of them at the hotel pool (Forgot to bring a swimsuit, will remember next time). We came back, Fal helped me get registered, ate at Furnando's and got a dog bowl, returned to the hotel, played some pokemon snap (Only time that wii U got used, ha. xD) and I collapsed on my bed after that huge long drive. I so wanted to join the dance that day, but tooooo tired. XD
FRIDAY
Got up early, full of Anthrocon hype! Put on badges, nommed chips, read the schedule, and headed over to opening ceremonies, where we met up with Xesh and His fursuit is full of much squeakers, and you must be careful of him booping your head. Your head will squeak. X3 After opening ceremonies we got into the first of many LineCons that I saw, LineCon, fursuit badge edition. We wound up meeting 
while in line, and boy does he have an awesome suit, and the clearest voice I've ever heard come out of a fursuit head. I went with my friends to the Your First Anthrocon panel, where we learned a few things and I got to experience the funny awesomeness that is 
. Afterwards, Shu, Fal, and I went to Sushi Kim for food (excellent chicken katsu, pretty good fried rice too). We came back and I went to the Dealer's Den to pick up Uncovered from the Sofawolf booth. I also ran through the place real quick, it was huuuuuuge! Met up with Reverb later at the zoo, then headed back to the hotel room to drop everything off, pick up one of those swag anthrocon shirts, and zip back to catch 
's Come Find Me Release. That was amazing. Super epic. Just... shutting my eyes and feeling that music. Eventually, I met up with my friends again at LineCon, Kage's story hour edition. We unfortunately were sitting in an acoustic dead zone, but I could catch most of it. Fox messing around in the background with musical accompaniment made things just that much funnier. After the show ended, Todd joined the crowd around Kage, and Shu walked over with me to go wave hi to Fox. He came down to the edge of the stage and we chatted a bit (before 2 came in with a Guinness) and I walked away with a big goofy smile on my face. Food happened shortly after that, and then I followed Todd around a bit as his handler, including to the dance. On our way back to the hotel, we met this fantastic jolly cheerful alcoholic salamander called Odd Yet Even from New Jersey- we went back to the hotel together and had an awesome fun chat before turning in for the night.
SATURDAY
Got up a little later than on Friday, checked schedule, ate chips for breakfast, and headed on over to the convention. Joined Todd on the way to getting his fursuit badge, then wandered around the dealers den and threw money at people in return for things like shirts and bookmarks and this beautiful print of Reis from
. Wandered around the art show, and the adult art show, and then wandered around upstairs and took a look through the video game room and the board game room. Played Nordguard with two furs (I don’t remember their names. :c One of them had a shoulder dragon and the other one had a fox mask and a robe. Nero? X something…?) Met up with later while everyone else was getting ready for the furry parade, and helped him get oriented to the conspace, then grabbed some lunch and went to watch the parade. There was this cute little service puppy in training sitting next to me that wanted the chicken I was having for lunch. XD The parade was amazing, so many awesome suits! I hope to get a suit someday. Afterwards, I meandered back up to the board game room and got caught up in a game of “Aye, Dark Overlord!” for awhile. It’s a fun, silly little game for those that can think quickly on their feet. Darted off later to attend the Friendly Feline Furry Fiasco, hosted by 
who not only has an adorable fursuit, but really knows how to do a funny panel! There was much yarn and chaos. Afterwards, I met up with everyone else again and we ran back to the room where people made sandwiches and we played a game of Betrayal at House on the Hill, then we went back to the con to watch 
’s Rant! X3 Afterwards, dinner at the Zoo, where I ran into Reverb suiting around in Dezik with 
as his handler. They went off, and I ran back into Todd during the masquerade. Ton of variety there, I think my favorite act was the dragon, must be insane to do martial arts in fursuit! Right after the masquerade, I joined Fal and Shu at the most hilarious panel- Whose Lion is it Anyway! I firmly believe that furry humor is the best humor, and I’ve never laughed so hard in my life. XD Afterwards I went to the dance and had a rocking awesome good time, I even got to dance with a few people for once, instead of just flailing around on my own. I love EDM, and dance floors where there’s space to dance around and be awesome. Returned to the hotel exhausted and happy, and collapsed in bed for the next day.
SUNDAY
Woke up, checked the con schedule, and lamented the fact that the con actually ends at the closing ceremony. Headed over to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast (the workers were wearing ears! Haha. X3), and roamed around the Dealers Den with Todd and Danko. Wound up picking up a copy of Heat and a box of Dixit (It’s a board game, look it up. And get your head outta the gutter!) Todd went off to do something, so Danko and I went up to play Dixit with some random fellow that Danko later found out was :argonvile:. Danko and I went to Subway for lunch, followed shortly by, well… a whole pack of Connecticut furries! I almost didn’t wanna leave, but I did have a ticket to 2 and Kage’s show, which was utterly HYSTERICAL. Definitely recommend seeing them together on stage whenever you get the chance. Chuckled about it all the way home, I did. X3 After that, we all met up again for the last linecon; Closing Ceremony edition. Still awesome though. Furries made 2000 dollars in charity appear at the very last moment, tipping us over the record charity donation so far. Because furries rock! X3 But just cause the convention is closed doesn’t mean the fun is over! Todd and I went to Tonic, (cause we haven’t been yet, and you *gotta* go to Tonic!) and invited Winter and Xesh (and Reverb, who tagged along, and Spike, who dropped by as well) Afterwards, we converged to the Westin to invade the zoo and the Dead Dog Dance. Much furries everywhere, all over the place, being silly and awesome. And a whole crowd of ‘em around the piano singing songs with Fox Amoore. Danko showed up wearing Nero (all my friends got fursuits! *suitless cat*) and we went off on a little walk to the river afterwards. The waterfalls were off (boo) but the river in the light of the night was awesome. All in all, it was a great way to end an amazing convention. We split up at the hotel, and I headed back to the room and played a round of Dixit with my roommates. Everyone was too tired to do more stuff though.
MONDAY
Woke up pretty late, started packing everything up and got Reverb to come over. We went to eat at Dunkin Donuts for breakfast, and on the way back we got in an elevator with none other than 2 the Ranting Gryphon himself! So, that was pretty cool. X3 I get the car, we load up, I drive in circles around Pittsburgh for a while waiting for the GPS to figure out where we’re going, and, ultimately, we’re off! The drive back went pretty fast, we put in a copy of Fox’s CD, Masked, in with Reverb’s usual mix. The highlight of the trip though, was walking into a Wendy’s for dinner and running into three cruxes completely randomly!

, was awesome bumping into yas! And yeah…. Before we knew it, we were back in CT, and Anthrocon 2014 was over. But man…. man… It. Was. AWESOME.

We unfortunately were sitting in an acoustic dead zone, but I could catch most of it. Fox messing around in the background with musical accompaniment made things just that much funnier. After the show ended, Todd joined the crowd around Kage, and Shu walked over with me to go wave hi to Fox. He came down to the edge of the stage and we chatted a bit (before 2 came in with a Guinness) and I walked away with a big goofy smile on my face. Food happened shortly after that, and then I followed Todd around a bit as his handler, including to the dance. On our way back to the hotel, we met this fantastic jolly cheerful alcoholic salamander called Odd Yet Even from New Jersey- we went back to the hotel together and had an awesome fun chat before turning in for the night.SATURDAY
Got up a little later than on Friday, checked schedule, ate chips for breakfast, and headed on over to the convention. Joined Todd on the way to getting his fursuit badge, then wandered around the dealers den and threw money at people in return for things like shirts and bookmarks and this beautiful print of Reis from
. Wandered around the art show, and the adult art show, and then wandered around upstairs and took a look through the video game room and the board game room. Played Nordguard with two furs (I don’t remember their names. :c One of them had a shoulder dragon and the other one had a fox mask and a robe. Nero? X something…?) Met up with later while everyone else was getting ready for the furry parade, and helped him get oriented to the conspace, then grabbed some lunch and went to watch the parade. There was this cute little service puppy in training sitting next to me that wanted the chicken I was having for lunch. XD The parade was amazing, so many awesome suits! I hope to get a suit someday. Afterwards, I meandered back up to the board game room and got caught up in a game of “Aye, Dark Overlord!” for awhile. It’s a fun, silly little game for those that can think quickly on their feet. Darted off later to attend the Friendly Feline Furry Fiasco, hosted by 
who not only has an adorable fursuit, but really knows how to do a funny panel! There was much yarn and chaos. Afterwards, I met up with everyone else again and we ran back to the room where people made sandwiches and we played a game of Betrayal at House on the Hill, then we went back to the con to watch ’s Rant! X3 Afterwards, dinner at the Zoo, where I ran into Reverb suiting around in Dezik with 
as his handler. They went off, and I ran back into Todd during the masquerade. Ton of variety there, I think my favorite act was the dragon, must be insane to do martial arts in fursuit! Right after the masquerade, I joined Fal and Shu at the most hilarious panel- Whose Lion is it Anyway! I firmly believe that furry humor is the best humor, and I’ve never laughed so hard in my life. XD Afterwards I went to the dance and had a rocking awesome good time, I even got to dance with a few people for once, instead of just flailing around on my own. I love EDM, and dance floors where there’s space to dance around and be awesome. Returned to the hotel exhausted and happy, and collapsed in bed for the next day.SUNDAY
Woke up, checked the con schedule, and lamented the fact that the con actually ends at the closing ceremony. Headed over to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast (the workers were wearing ears! Haha. X3), and roamed around the Dealers Den with Todd and Danko. Wound up picking up a copy of Heat and a box of Dixit (It’s a board game, look it up. And get your head outta the gutter!) Todd went off to do something, so Danko and I went up to play Dixit with some random fellow that Danko later found out was :argonvile:. Danko and I went to Subway for lunch, followed shortly by, well… a whole pack of Connecticut furries! I almost didn’t wanna leave, but I did have a ticket to 2 and Kage’s show, which was utterly HYSTERICAL. Definitely recommend seeing them together on stage whenever you get the chance. Chuckled about it all the way home, I did. X3 After that, we all met up again for the last linecon; Closing Ceremony edition. Still awesome though. Furries made 2000 dollars in charity appear at the very last moment, tipping us over the record charity donation so far. Because furries rock! X3 But just cause the convention is closed doesn’t mean the fun is over! Todd and I went to Tonic, (cause we haven’t been yet, and you *gotta* go to Tonic!) and invited Winter and Xesh (and Reverb, who tagged along, and Spike, who dropped by as well) Afterwards, we converged to the Westin to invade the zoo and the Dead Dog Dance. Much furries everywhere, all over the place, being silly and awesome. And a whole crowd of ‘em around the piano singing songs with Fox Amoore. Danko showed up wearing Nero (all my friends got fursuits! *suitless cat*) and we went off on a little walk to the river afterwards. The waterfalls were off (boo) but the river in the light of the night was awesome. All in all, it was a great way to end an amazing convention. We split up at the hotel, and I headed back to the room and played a round of Dixit with my roommates. Everyone was too tired to do more stuff though.
MONDAY
Woke up pretty late, started packing everything up and got Reverb to come over. We went to eat at Dunkin Donuts for breakfast, and on the way back we got in an elevator with none other than 2 the Ranting Gryphon himself! So, that was pretty cool. X3 I get the car, we load up, I drive in circles around Pittsburgh for a while waiting for the GPS to figure out where we’re going, and, ultimately, we’re off! The drive back went pretty fast, we put in a copy of Fox’s CD, Masked, in with Reverb’s usual mix. The highlight of the trip though, was walking into a Wendy’s for dinner and running into three cruxes completely randomly!

Well, I'm currently in the middle of a summer job teaching chillin's about the art of writing good and all that stuff. I'm gonna be trying to post new art soon, I've got some derp badges that I made for AC that'll be going up eventually, and a few new ideas that I'm working on. I got a tablet and I actually know a bit of what I'm doing with it, yaaay!
I'm gonna be going to the CT diner meet this Friday, and hoping to get to FA:U as well later on.
Oh, and it's my birthday today! 22 year old cat now. Officially old. Yup.
