post-thanksgiving surprise selection
Posted 10 years agowould you three be okay with it being a group picture?
please be sure to look at the other two characters before answering,
because one of them is a little-fur, and because of that, I'd have to keep things extra-tame.
(crazygameguy) Li: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16839302/
Li's top would remain intact across her chest.
(darksouldb) D.B. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16199951/
(phrooglevore) Candi: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4918369/
Candi would be drawn pretty fat all over, with a packed, round belly.

it's a post-thanksgiving surprise! (FREE art, ONE slot!)
Posted 10 years agoI want to draw a feeding/stuffing related artwork
of one of your characters (must be OC) and Haystack (any gender) getting fat
bursting out of clothing and getting huge.
depending on who answers with a proper request that draws my interest,
it will be tame artwork (if there is nudity, it will be Toon style, not adult). <-- changed from original proposal
clothing exploding MUST be involved in some way. <3
I just ask, if you are underage, that you make sure to say so, and keep it tame.
this is NOT first-come, first-served, so please put some effort into making your request a fun one!
fun, clever, cute characters and scenarios will be preferred over not-so-fun ones.
artwork will be a flat-colored sketch.
go to it, folks! entries will close at 3 PM Saturday, US Central Time.

to those who celebrate Thanksgiving
Posted 10 years agoI hope yours will be a fun, happy, and delicious day!
what, you don't celebrate? you're not a Unitedstatesian, perhaps?
or just don't care for the holiday? that's fine!
well, then, I hope it will be a nice Thursday or whenever for you. <3

Posted 10 years agoTurkish forces shot down a Russian fighter jet for encroaching upon Turkish borders, earlier today.
Turkey claims the Russian pilots were given ample warning; Russia claims their pilots were not in Turkish airspace.
whatever the case, this is the first time a NATO country has shot down a Russian aircraft in about 60 years, if I read the historical information correctly.
I do not see anything good coming of this,
unless it convinces the various combatants in the area to work in concert against Daesh.

Posted 10 years agodear MetroPCS...
Posted 10 years agothank you for threatening to improve my cell phone experience for FREE starting tomorrow
(improvement of streaming video to extend high-speed data allotment, apparently)....
after offering a new rate plan some months ago that cut my bill by 25% ($40 to $30)
but let me keep the same amount of 3G data...
after giving me a pretty okay little Android phone for FREE...
and the coverage is even pretty decent where I live.
would MetroPCS again 10/10

a little admission [AB/DL]
Posted 10 years agoi love Adult Baby/Diaper Lover, and AR (mental and/or physical) RP a lot, with the right folks.
HOWEVER!
these are not and never will be real-life things for me.
they are SOLELY RP things, because I have an immense aversion to poop in real life.
I'm not even sure I'd be comfortable wearing diapers in real life, even if just for show.
but I'm totally fine with roleplaying it. <3
I'm mentioning this mainly because I am going
to post some AB/DL stuff with Haystack in the near future,
and don't want folks to be confused about how I am in RL and RP.
(EDIT: no, there will be no "poopy diaper stuff". and I do not want Hay put into that sort of situatoin.)
TL;DR: in roleplay, AB, DL, and AR are always cool for a nook.
in real life, never ever, because Sooper Dooper Pooper Scooper is not my thing.
(sorry, Macroscope reference, thanks Piers Anthony!)

so Undertales group basically just got shut down
Posted 10 years agoan admin threatened sanctions against the creator of
undertales
as in their main account, not just the Undertales account,
if they did not remove all items that were not "made for the group".
the creator of Undertales solicited artists to specifically ask the group to post their artwork.
that's right, everything posted on the group was put there with the artists' express permission.
but one of our wonderful admins decided
that anything posted there has to be specifically "made for the group"
and so almost all of the lovely art that had been collected has now been removed from the group.
a really fun thing that was hurting NOBODY AT ALL,
to celebrate a fantastic gaming phenomenon that's caught many hearts and minds,
is now pretty much dead because someone on high
decided they felt like swinging their authority around.
never mind that "by you/for you"
doesn't really seem intended to prevent what happened in Undertales.
it's to combat copyright violations and keep stuff like avatar-maker images
and unaltered screenshots from littering the site, from what I understand.
vexed, Vexed, VEXED!!! <.<

French answer to Paris attacks.
Posted 10 years agoI think 20 bombs is just the very beginning.
keep flying, Mirages. keep flying, Rafales. unleash hell upon the foe.
keep flying until there is no DAIISH* left to bomb.
and I hope there will be many others flying with them,
in proper coordination. it's time to shelve al-Assad and let the Russian and US coalitions work together.
DAIISH won't stand a chance, if that happens.
(* DAIISH is the Arabic acronym for what Western media are calling ISIS/ISIL,
I think
ftdellway has a good point when he suggests using "Daesh" or "DAIISH" instead of the other.
it also is easily twisted to "douche", which I think perfectly fits the organization, in a sophomoric sort of way.)
after all, we wouldn't want to piss off a certain way ancient Egyptian goddess of awesomeness, would we?)

my heart breaks for Paris
Posted 10 years agoand then it burns with a terrible, righteous anger.
but... the anger must wait for its proper time.
now is the time for mourning and support of those who have fallen,
of those who knew and loved them, of those who care even if they didn't know the departed at all.
later, however...
I hope the organization responsible for these massacres
will be witnessing many Mirages in the very near future.
there is no need to give monsters like these
anything more than the respect they have shown for others.

Big Fish is fantastic.
Posted 10 years agoI finally got around to watching this Tim Burton-directed movie for the first time this morning.
it is so good. so VERY good. it has a similar feel as Forrest Gump gives,
of a curious Southern fantasy, magical at times, and it's very engaging all the way through.
(a lot of it is even set in Alabama, the same as Forrest Gump,
except the set of the fictional Spectre, AL, still exists near Montgomery, on a private island!)
but the last 15 minutes or so... oh my gosh.
I will not lie. the waterworks turned on, and they would NOT go off.
it's 15 minutes past the show's ending, and I am STILL crying -- joyfully, remembering what I just saw.
do yourself a favor and set aside a couple of hours to watch this. it's on Netflix, and maybe other services.

I am still grinning ear to ear about Arkansas vs. Ole Miss
Posted 10 years agoin American gridiron football, what do you do when it's 4th/final down and 25 yards to go?
you do something TOTALLY AMAZING, making people grin their fool heads off for years to come...
and then you follow it up by some making seriously ballsy plays afterwards.
(BTW, the video doesn't show it, but on Arkansas' first 2-point conversion attempted,
an Ole Miss defender grabbed the Arkansas quarterback by his face-mask,
resulting in a penalty repeat of the attempt from half the original distance to the goal line.
the rest will shine on in history for years to come -- at least, at Arkansas!)

Norris / KuroHachuurui -- rent donations (ACHIEVED)
Posted 10 years agohe and his mom are trying to raise a huge amount of money for rent and late fees.
I just hope their landlord will give them an extension, because the payment's apparently due today.
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7164789/
he'll do a sketch for ya if you donate just $1, but I'd recommend at least $5.
for every $10 donated past the $1, he'll add in another sketch.
if you signal-boost his journal, he'll offer a mugshot for free, if you want it.

Posted 10 years agoso here's my new thing learned for today:
"Chicago" apparently means "Skunk-Land" in a certain reading of native American Miami-Illinois language that led to the city's name.
and if that's wrong, well, it's not a whole lot better: "Leek-Land" seems to be the alternative.
in any case, it all smells funny to me!

[Undertale SPOILER] regarding 3rd Merciless Run!
Posted 10 years agoif you've gone through Merciless/Genocide twice, that's pretty much it.
the third Merciless run ends in exactly the same way as the second,
so don't waste your time giving it a third go. :P
getting to beat Undyne and Sans again was a treat,
though I think I was a bit more drunk than last time,
as Undyne got me 2x, and Sans 2x, before I beat them this time.

chicken coleslaw salad...
Posted 10 years agofor tonight's dinner, I took some pre-made (Dollar General) canned chicken salad, beefed it up with diced pimiento peppers (no heat) and sweet relish and a bit of extra mayo,
then added in some undressed coleslaw, a handful of hot-pepper shredded Monterey jack, and several healthy dashes of ground cayenne pepper.
wow. so good. <3
will have to do this one again!

Posted 10 years ago(ugh, sorry! I was in a super grouchy mood when I wrote this. my apologies.
original journal was complaint about someone not wanting to draw "fat furs".)
I really need to respect others' choices more, sometimes.
usually I'm pretty good about that, but certain moods make me less so.
there's nothing wrong with not wanting to draw a certain body type.
sorry I riled y'all up with my "late night" grumbling and moaning.

some say that practice makes perfect. welllll...
deaths caused first time: Undyne ~25, Sans ~75
deaths caused second time: Undyne 1, Sans 1
after seeing the Fallen's response at the end of the second trip,
I'm now compelled to go a third round of the bad time.

Halloween Costume Game-T: Milgrove, Zeekhedgehog, SirKain
Posted 10 years agoThis idea was by "welshiekitsune" -- apparently the username & journal link I was given weren't correct, but whatevs.
So basically you just make a journal saying what Halloween Costume 3 Friends of yours should be wearing for Halloween this year.... and if they get picked they're tagged and have to do it.
I was tagged by
jimmyarthur104, who cast me as a pretty big princess of some sort! thanks, l'il bro. <3
(as always, I don't try to enforce response journals. feel free not to make your own, if I tag ya.)
milgrove -- as Milgrove, wearing Indiana Jones attire, solving puzzles across the ancient Egypt!
zeekhedgehog -- in a Perdue Boilermakers football uniform, instead of his usual Miami Dolphins outfit!
sirkain -- as Kendall, in a 1930s-era gangster getup, looking super-sharp.

dear Nico Rosberg
Posted 10 years agodude, next time, try to ring Lewis's head with the cap. maybe he'll get the message?
in Sunday's Formula One US Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX,
Lewis Hamilton's super-aggressive, first-turn, first-lap move
ran his teammate Nico Rosberg off the track and cost him 4 places right away.
Rosberg eventually ended up 2nd, after making a late-race mistake that cost him the win.
Nico was, quite understandably, not in much of a mood to celebrate, and made a point of expressing his annoyance to everyone who cared to watch.
the post-race coverage is golden, especially this bit in the cool-down room before the awards ceremony.

urrgh! bad tummy! sorry for disappearing earlier, folks!
Posted 10 years agoabout seven hours ago, I noticed abdominal pain growing quickly low and center,
so I excused myself from various online and phone chats and went right to bed.
I just woke up from that nap and found that I'm running a 2°F fever,
so the problem I thought I had was probably the right call -- likely got a little bacterial infection in the guts.
however, it's already mostly stopped hurting, so I guess the Immune Force is rocking the situation.
I just bolstered them with some delicious Chunky Sausage and Chicken Gumbo. <3
I hope I'll be all better in time for work. driving around with a big bellyache really sucks. :P

such a funny shill page
Posted 10 years agohttp://pinchednerveinneckhq.com/bes.....for-neck-pain/
the comments are obviously bogus. seeing "comfertable" twice from different "users" and noticing other oddities in the English from names that would suggest proper fluency makes this page kind of hilarious and obviously not trustworthy.
I think the first real comment is from "sherry"... near the very end of the list.
so funny, because so clumsy!

so I tried making TOFU TACOS tonight
Posted 10 years agofilling was:
14 oz. firm tofu, drained, crumbled (I think extra-firm might work even better)
2.25 oz. can sliced olives, crushed (to check for pits, partly)
4 oz. can diced jalapeños -- packed in WATER -- no vinegar/acetic acid in ingredients
a standard packet of taco seasoning (enough for 1 lb. of ground beef)
a few teaspoons of oil for frying
put into:
Kroger store-brand crunchy corn tortilla taco shells
topped with:
shredded Mexican-style cheese blend
fat-free sour cream
coleslaw mix (lettuce would, of course, work just as well)
---
it turned out so delicious, I destroyed six of them in one sitting. <3
