☽ THE ELEMENTALS© ☾

(for short, an Elemental)

☽ DESCRIPTION ☾

The elementals are a magical species representative of the forces of nature. The force of nature that you choose for your character and its colour palette is completely up to you, use your imagination.
As a creator, I came up with 5 natural forces, being these Water, Fire, Earth, Wind and Alchemy, and you can use what comes to your mind (As long as you don't get in troubles for it, and don't get me in trouble neither). Each type of elemental force that you create will be a Subspecies of the Elemental.
Elementals have no gender (androgynous). They cannot reproduce as organic beings, such as foxes, humans, etc. They can feel love, but the way they reproduce is different. Instead of multiplying, they "add up" to form a much more powerful individual.
Forces of nature cannot be combined (e.g Fire + Water) unless a new force of nature raises from the combination (e.g Fire + Water = Steam, as the new force of nature). Using the previous example, the magic will remain as a Steam-type magic and everything related to it.
The powers you choose for your character have to be closely connected to the force of nature you chose for it. Fire-type Elementals cannot have powers related to water, for example. You can and should invent the origin and mechanics of your character's power.
Finally, each type should be able to shapeshift, allowing your character to shapeshift between species or even natural forms. Kind of like camouflage.

☽ LORE/BACKSTORY (still working on it, but this is the main concept) ☾

About a few hundred million years after the Big Bang, this species emerged on every planet in the universe as a magical manifestation of all the basic elements: Water, Fire, Earth and Air. Rising from rivers and volcanoes, from the earth or directly from storms, these creatures are at the level of primordial deities of the universe. They are beasts, which later evolved into more intelligent and sentient forms, which accompanied and monitored the development of each of the species in the universe. Sometimes, even acting as gods of their origin planets.
Essentially, they share no common technology, although they can use their own magic to meet their basic needs, such as traveling, speaking, and eating. But they eat no food, not as an organic being at least. They absorb the force of nature that they belong to, to survive, which is consumed for every time they use their powers (I vaguely call it "re-shaping"). Otherwise, the Elemental will simply "dry up" or disappear, and may also permanently die or be killed. Once dead, it cannot be brought back to life as it becomes part of its force of nature, becoming what will shape future Elementals and feed them.
Their internal "biological" systems may also suffer deterioration due to poor maintenance of the Elemental. What shapes them is magic. They choose their shape and their names. Names and shapes may vary between planets as they adapt to the culture they grew up in.

This is, essentially, the lore of the species. It might not change in the future when I write it down in a more serious writing. You can also play around with the lore.

☽ TERMS OF USE AND CREATOR'S RIGHTS ☾

· You don't need permission to use this species for your character/s. You don't need to fill out a form to request it. Just notify me when you use the species with reference sheet.
· Every reference sheet of a character must have me tagged as the creator of the species where and a way it's visible.
· You can use this species for both SFW and NSFW content (NSFW, as long as it's something not too nasty or prohibited)
· You can use this species for RP.
· You can use this species for literature.
· You can use this species to make 3D Models for VRChat or VTUBERS. Just make me know because we will have to arrange something if it's gonna be used for commercial purposes. Same goes for Bases, YCHs or any marketable product.
· Do NOT change the lore and mechanics of the species, or I will feel forced to contact you and ask you to quit it.
· Subspecies must mention me as the creator of the species as well.
· You can also create variants of the main 5 species (Water, Fire, Earth, Wind and Alchemy). Variants will be considered subspecies of the Elemental subspecies.
· Any attempt to circumvent these terms will be taken as a disrespect of my boundaries as creator.
