Fangrels
Posted 4 weeks agoFangrels are the newest species added to my fantasy setting I thought I would share a bit about them.
Standard height is between 6ft to 7ft tall with short fur that's either darker colors or grey. With small ears and distinct nostrils on the top of their snouts which they can seal up when they go under water. They have a powerful bite with razor sharp fangs and they have a wide thick tongue which is forked at the tip, with webbed paws and fingers along with sharp claws.
They survive mostly on fish and sea creatures and are very strong swimmers. Normally taking prey with a hunting hook.
Outside of their colonies fangrels tend to favor being sailors or privateers but can also be found working docks and being body guards but it's very rare to see them far from the sea.
Questions and comments are welcome and encouraged and help me see how much people like these ideas

Posted 2 months agoWith the Pokemorph setting squared away and ready to continue I turn my thoughts to the monhun setting and the fact that I have not decided on a monster to be the leader! So ask me anything about the setting the monsties the named characters I have posted about and any ideas for what fierce beast would lead such a formidable force of monsters.

Cast iron weapons and armored deathclaws
Posted 3 months agoMore fallout cast iron
Time for another fun lore dump. Cast iron is able to equip their guards with a standard set of equipment from the iron guard having access to the v63 laser carbine and v64 laser pistol to the railguards having access to the range master rifle and most small arms the supply base in the heart of the settlement is able to allow trained gunsmiths to manufacturer most weapons that have a design schematic the issue is normal material so to save on that and make sure they have a supply of arms and armor available the keep the number of individual schematics to a minimum. Only the most tried and tested designs are used any other weapons that are seen being used are either bought from traders or built custom by the gunsmiths without the manufacturing system.
On to the deathclaws since the population of deathclaws in cast iron are all intelligent "non talking or otherwise" the human and ghouls of the settlement don't want their reptilian compatriots to go into combat without any protection so using old scrapped t 45 and 51 the created battle plate for any deathclaws going into heavy combat gristle is a good example of the armor in question. It's heavy but it doesn't hinder the deathclaws all to much and they appreciate the added protection the armor gives when things get violent. For the most part though since deathclaws are tanks in their own right this armor is really only used during the rare seiges that have happened to cast iron though none have been successful even the mighty deathclaw needs to take cover when combatants bring large scale weapons to bare.
I love questions and comments about my lore and the fallout au setting has been keeping me sane so feel free to ask questions if you're interested XD

Cast iron power armor
Posted 3 months agoNow that my crisis is over I can post about what I was originally working on this week.
Cast irons power armor the settlement being a former enclave manufacturing hub allows the residents there to be able to manufacturer the parts for their own variants of the t-65 power armor none of them to the same level as the prewar secret service ones but equal in effectiveness to the brotherhoods t-60 variants.
T-65 R. Raillord armor is the closest to the original specs thatT-66 can be produced this juggernaut of steel is only issued to the highest ranking iron guard commanders and are fitted with a tracker so that the suit might be recovered if anything should happen. Comes with a targeting unit in the helmet allowing the wearer to designate hostiles to any other guard in power armor near by.
T-65 B. The blazer is built with radiation protection in mind and is used specifically by the expeditionary rangers to explore the remains of the Northern cities and near the glowing island. They are also the main armor for anti mutant squads. Extra air scrubbers and better seals are used in it's manufacturing and the Helmet design is more akin to an armored gass mask
T-65 S. The standard for the rail guard it is normally fitted with a spotlight on the helmet and can mount either a heavy weapon support arm or a recon unit.
The standard weapon for all variants is the v63 laser carbine and the plasma defender as a side arm. The pilots that carry shields tend to favor either using a defender or the stockless snub barreled carbine.
Thanks to the addition of the many enclave, institute, and minute men pushed into the region cast iron has found new and better ways to maintain their armor and weapons along the years.
Questions and comments are encouraged and help me see the interest in the setting and characters.
