Hello fellow lanterns,

I am sorry I have little content for this page, even when I was reading comics there wasn't much.

But I do have some comic news to share.

1) Larfleeze's comic is being cancelled. Which is a little sad because it was pretty funny.

2)Sinestro is getting his own comic. I'm against this simply because Geoff Johns put him out to pasture at the end of WRATH. Unless it's a bunch of back stories of him creating his corps; I think it's just to get readers.

3)They're finally have Simon Baz back in the GL comics. They brushed him under the rug and on the JLI team; which sucked because I liked him as a GL.

4)Supergirl is a Red Lantern....I...I don't know what to say; woman in the frig? Jumping a shark? It's defiantly a ploy.



And The Flash is getting his own tv show again.
The real issue with Flash is his villains. A friend and I have a podcast and we talked about it. I threw out Flash's main villains and half he didn't know; and Captain Boomerang made him facepalm.



And off the subject of heroes, The Minecraft Con scam...all shenanigans. And good on the internet for not allowing him to hide and scam like that again.



I believe that's all the important news for now.


I hope you're all doing good. And I am still looking for someone to be an active admin on here; and if anyone wants the  blue_lantern_corps page message me and you can have it.

I just have been not hearing much news worth posting, especially not reading the comics anymore.

BUT! I have heard that Sinestro is getting his own comic....your thoughts?

Personally, I think it's dumb. not the Sinestro is a boring character, but Geoff retired him. He shouldn't have a comic, this is just a way to make a little more money out of the GL fans. There's (i think) 6 GL or GL-related comics. And DC only having 52 comics going at one time is choking potential new heroes to emerge and be the next awesome. (Ever read Batwing? It's a bit boring, but interesting enough to keep you reading).
I mean, come on....


Have any underrated heroes you think deserve their own books?
(and don't say Zoo Crew; yes, I'm that geeky I know about them)

Hello lanterns, It's I the Alpha Lantern.

I'm going to be frank with you and tell you I'm not buying anymore comics.
I know some enjoyed the updates (I'm counting the BLC ones too), but I can't afford to buy them with my newborn son; I need that money now.
I have alternate means to keep up with the story line.

And with this, and the resent inactivity of the other admin and the owner of this page, I will open 3 slots for new admin. I will be checking all that apply hay you meet my criteria to help add content on a regular bases.

As for my part, while U can't do comic updates anymore. I will start a VS journal, to debate who would win in a fight that will probably never happen....and I can come up with some odd ones.



This week will be Lex Luthor vs. Tony Stark/Ironman!


As for me, I think that Luthor would loose by simply being arrogant and us his lightest powersuit and at the last minute give Tony an opening to hit his exposed head. But it would be a close fight for the most part.

Hello all my Green Lanterns. If you don't know, I'm the Alpha Lantern and the current leader of the GL:  wally_bear.

I now we haven't been that active, It's a lack of content ideas and only me being the one trying to keep all 5 of my pages, that I somehow became in charge of.

BUT! If you was a Blue Lantern and been watching that page you'd know that Relic has literally destroyed the BLs...yes, Relic took all the power from their Central Battery leaving them powerless on their new home planet.

So The  blue_lantern_corps page is dead as well (at least to me).


Now, I know I'm a bit late on the update, but so was September's.

This month was the Forever Evil event, in which all the DC comics had 3D covers! They're very nice, but can make you queezy. But all 4 comics was about 4 main villains in the GL comics.

Relic
Mongul
Black Hand
Sinestro



Relic:
This was an origin story reviling why Relic is trying to destroy all the corpses. In the universe before ours anyone could weld a light with a staff that they could get. The people who had a staff was call a lightsmith and they'd fight over who had the strongest light. Relic was questioning if the use of the light would have a negative effect on the universe. Relic traveled the universe, meeting Metron and even making it to the Source Wall! After years of research he found out he was right, but by then it was too late and the fighting destroyed the universe causing our universe to begin.

So Relic is trying to save our universe by stopping the corpses from repeating what happened in his universe. (and if you watched the BL page you'd know the entitys are dying, which is another reason the Central Batteries are blinking on and off.)




Mongul:
Mongul's story was a simple one. Warworld came close to a planet and the mercs that was hired to protect the planet. The caption demanded Mongul's surrender...well, that lead him to have a tour of Warworld by Mongul himself. In the end Mongul tells him that he took over his ship, took his crew for slaves and gladiators, and finally ripped the caption's head off and placed it on a pike in a room full of other heads of captions demanding surrender.




Blackhand:
They crematedhis body, a Black Lantern ring came from nowhere and brought him back...yup.
But he did work on his ability to kill people by using a flu shot to kill a guard! And then he summoned a few zombies, they ate a person, and he is now on a mission to kill Hal once and for all.

I'm still trying to figure out where this ring came from...the last one made sense at least, coming out his mouth when he killed himself.



Sinestro:
As much as some would like Sinestro to come back, this was another origin story told by Lyssa Drak whining about not having a book of a corps to read. She just told the story that we all know, she just added more about Sinestro's marriage to Abin's sister.



I'll be getting my November comics soon, and I do plan on having a more scheduled updates.

The guardians

Hello Lanterns, Alpha Lantern 0471 again. I am able to seen another transmission without being caught due to the commotion on Oa...

And yes, Kyle Rayner has united the lights! He has achieved a level not even a guardian (Krona) could do. He has been transformed into a White Lantern; which scares the Guardians enough to make them run for cover.
And the Guardians plan for total annihilation of the Corps by tricking them into thinking they would be emunized from the Third Army failed thanks to Rayner and a few others.

And Mogo has returned! Fully powered, and most likely unhappy with what happened.

As for Simon Baz, he has gotten two messages to unravel, Hal's and Sinestro's. Green Lantern B'dg tells him to listen to Hal and not Sinestro. And I've lost track of them when he entered the Book of Black.

Guy Gardener hasn't gave up on being a Lantern ether. After an attack from the Third Army on the prison he was being held at; with help of Green Lantern B'dg he has made it to Oa and is assisting Green Lantern Killowog to stop the Guardians plan. And with the rings free from the Forge they can now find new Lanterns, and greeted Guy back into the Corps.

I'm free to send this message because of the battle going on on Oa and they're too busy to see me. Especially sense the Guardians used too much of the First Lantern's power and freed him....yes, he is free....


And as for the Red...Atrocitus has reactivated the Manhunters to attack the Guardians.




The Corps, the Third Army, the Manhunters, and the First Lantern....everything they created to bring peace to the galaxy is now on Oa...I fear it is the end of the Guardians of the Universe.

Greetings Green Lanterns I am  wallybear, the Alpha Lantern of sector 0471. I have been on a mission that spared me from the fate of my fellow Corpsmen...alas, I am the last of us....and my power battery is waning leaving me to hid like a coward in a shielded meteor/satellite until I can gain access to the Central Battery again.

Anyways, my roll I plan on doing is to fire up this place and make it active almost as much as I keep  ftm going.

To start I'll be giving monthly updates on the happenings of the comics for people who don't/can't read them.

I have yet to read this months issues, but we'll start anyways.






In January,
The Third Army has been assimilating every sentient being in the universe to remove free will so that no one will commit a crime ever again (the Guardian's "master plan"). They've been eliminating anyone/thing that might cause problems with their plan including: causing an uproar which destroyed my corps completely [besides me of course ^^], having the Third Army focus on any and all Lanterns, and finally fabricating a scenario that forced newly appointed Lantern Sentinel Guy Gardner to resign from the corps; who is currently been arrested by his sister.

Hal Jordan and Th'aal Sinestro have been in the Indigo Tribe's dimension, which isn't easy to see into, but the Indigo Tribe tried to take Sinestro as one of their own, by which Hal was able to free him by shutting off their central battery freeing all of them for a brief moment. This was not good because though Sinestro was released, so was Blackhand who jumped off a cliff killing himself which turned him back into a Black Lantern, able to resurrect that dead again (but more zombie than a real threat like last time). I lost the connection, but last I saw the two, Hal and Sinestro was in the realm of the dead, and the Book of Black proclaimed Hal will be the greatest Black Lantern! o.0


The new found Lantern Simon Baz seemed of attracted the attention of the Justice League of America, which having Sinestro's ring on caused even more problems because Sinestro placed a bunch of fail-safes on it. He currently confronted the true terrorist, the FBI was also on Baz's tail and found the truth out too.



And finally the rouge of the Lanterns I follow, Kyle Rayner. Amazingly, he has mastered all but one of the seven emotions. His ring keeps changing so tracking it is a mess...

They are still trying to get their battery up and running, while also trying to find out the mystery of the Third Army.
