OK everyone, a few updates for October.

I'm pretty happy for hitting 5000 watchers here (and for 8500 on twitter), and I really would like to do something to celebrate that. Most likely, I'll turn to my character creation polls and open that up for everyone to participate in. Do some painting based on the results. Something interactive sounds fun.

I'm still keeping regular commissions closed, aside from my weekly in-stream sessions on Thursdays and Saturdays. I like how those have been going, and I feel like my quick style that I make those in has developed enough to make the starting price for those $30/per character. I know a lot of people don't like the random nature of doing raffles to get a slot, but it's the best I can do at the moment. That being said, I know a few people have participated in the raffles quite a few times and never won once, so I'd like to have some loyalty system in place to pick those guys up. I've yet to think of one, but it's a thought. Perhaps I'll open another day up for taking in-stream stuff. 9 slots a week sounds good, right?

As for my monthly commission slots, those are staying closed for the rest of the year, most likely. Time issues and such. I'm also feeling like my style is shifting away from lineart and cell-shading, so I'd like to spend some time refining a good style for that before opening back up in a commercial way. Plus, making some personal art might reignite some passion that I've felt I've lacked in recent months.

I'm tentatively keeping communication lines open for larger commissions (3+ char paintings, or something else insane), but don't expect anything if you decide contact me.

August Commissions are closed for now. I had 25 entries and I took 6 .I was already pretty busy this month, and almost considered not taking any. I'm full up for the rest of this month and a good part of the next. I think that may be the last of my commissions for awhile.

Definitely not opening in September, Not October, Maybe Nov/Dec. Commission Streams will keep occurring on Thursdays and Saturdays, so I have some income. I really just want to work on myself and figure out some long term goals for 2020.

I'm going to focus on my SFW account at some point next year and build that up so I can have some portfolio stuff to show off. I've got several long-term project ideas, (small indie games, webcomics, animations) and idk what the fuck I should do.

I don't think I'll ever leave the MOJO accounts behind tho. Drawing cute animal girls is too fun. Just need a break from constant com work to get even more better at art.

I'm going to aim for Commission Streams on Thursdays and Saturday.
Monday-Wednesday are streams for other arts, original stuff, or maybe more streams. But every Thursday and Saturday are commission streams.

Fridays and Sundays are either rest days, fun streams, or GAMING streams (which I may host on my Twitch channel).

Saw we just rolled over 4000 watchers. Seems like just yesterday we were celebrating 3000 (Feb 2nd is the date of the first journal mentioning that, actually).

Thanks again guys for the support and making this crazy lifestyle possible. I don't know if I'll draw something in celebration, time is tight and I just got off working on the 5k pic for twitter. I think I'll just make celebration pictures every now and again to thank all my followers, regardless of site.

Anyways, some UPDATES:

INTERNET ISSUES
We are still having issues with our internet, but we now know the cause. Comcast is throttling our internet at peak hours because we went over some upload limit (which is easy when you have three streamers living together). We have supposedly fixed the issue, but have yet to see results. Until then, I'll be streaming when I can from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM (CST) sporadically. Follow my Twitter or join my server for specific times/pings.

MAY AND JUNE COMMISSIONS
As many people have asked, I haven't been open for commissions in the traditional fashion this month, instead doing them in-stream, same-day. This has been really fun and successful, so I'm keeping these commission streams going into June. Normal Commission slots will open back up in July, along with a mix of commission streams. June may be a lower activity month for me, as I have s good amount of contract work that I plan to complete in June.

Yo dudes, my dumbass forgot to pass along my plans for May commissions, so here's a journal explaining everything.

So, I'm fairly burnt out on doing all these larger commissions the past few months, mainly just all the lineart and shading, etc. For May, I've decided to switch to doing sketch streams on Picarto and funnel all my commission work through there.

It works like I imagine most other commission streams work: I'll put out a post on FA and Twitter (and my discord server) announcing the time I'll start the stream for that day. When the stream fires up, I'll start taking commissions in the most appropriate way given how many people are there, i.e raffle, or first-come-first serve. I plan to do 3-4 sketches each stream, so that should be 4-5 hours (hopefully quicker.) You don't have to stick around or anything.

SUMMARY:
-Sketches are $25 per character, simple colors included. Willing to do simple props.
-Freedom on posing preferred, but not required.
-3-4 slots per stream, maybe more
-10-12 streams this month, maybe more
-One per person, per week, unless no one asks.
-Look in my gallery for examples of the quality I'm aiming for. (More towards patron rewards)
-DO NOT enter the stream and start spamming whispers at me. You'll instantly end up on my shitlist.
-All coms have to follow my TOS.
-Please avoid playing backseat artist, I'm willing to listen to suggestions, but do not spam me with edits.

I'm doing this mostly to get a lot of practice sketching, get a little faster/more confident in it. Next month, I'll bring back some regular slots.

The February group is actually fairly small as I've had several other plans shift around, so I may be contacting people out of the March group to go ahead and work on their stuff.
