another thing that's been on my mind lately: gay relationships. i'm wondering how hard it is to have a guy on guy relationship. from the friends that i have, i haven't really seen anything that seems lasting. and i have a lot of gay guy friends. now, just my own opinion on gay men in general; the "manly" ones seem to only want dick, as stereotypical male as that sounds. the "girly" ones actually look for a lasting, meaningful relationship. but! none of the pairs i've seen have worked out. manlyxmanly is usually perfect in the sense of each partner is looking for physical and personality traits that the other has. because each is taking on the "man" role though, there's no balance. now girlyxgirly doesn't work either. the "girly" gay male is usually looking for a "manly" gay, so to be with another "girl" would boarder on a lesbian relationship, only with dicks. now manlyxgirly doesn't seem to work either, because although the "woman" is with someone that is ideally burlesque, the "man" is looking for another "man". because he's gay. and if he's with "girl", then he might as well be with an actual girl. of course, there are always exceptions to the rules, and i've seen a lot. fictionally. but not with anyone that i actually know.

i got this yesterday on my R-dump i submitted and i was just kind of mulling it over last night. for those of you that are, why do you hate/are offended by the porn that floats around fA? of all places, furaffinity should be where you can post what you like without being ridiculed. having a fursona and all that junk is my own guilty pleasure, i don't go around advertising it to everyone irl, so when i come here, i just wanna be able to relax and enjoy it with other people that enjoy it.

but on the other hand, i totally get the whole "i draw something awesome and get -10 views while wolflover265 over there draws stick animals having buttseks and gets 3k hits." believe me. i know. non-pornographic art totally does not get the recognition it deserves. but being on fA, i think furries also count as a fetish, so on a site that allows rated-R art you gotta expect it.

and then again, there's always going to be haters hating, no matter where you go, especially on the internet. so in a sense, i'm also asking for it.
