Depression hurts
General | Posted 7 years agoI know alot of people go through this and this is not me seeking attention this is just a journal for me to just put some feelings down. Sometimes I feel like people dont fully understand the pain and hurt I go through. I may seem strong but I'm not. I feel like my own family sometimes thinks I am just being lazy or making up excuses but I'm not. Depression effects both body and mind. I fight this fight alone because I dont want to burden others. I tried to seek comfort from people I thought were close to me and they pushed me away. Even my ex who was part of the fandom doesn't realize how badly he hurt me and only cared about his feelings. I know it was not all him and I made my mistakes but how things happened hurt so bad . I hate being single I really do but finding that person to lean on is hard when all the people I date show how lovely they are at first but then tear me down to the point being single is the way to shield my heart. I feel like they are allowed to be sad and depressed and I do everything I can to comfort them but the moment I show any sign of being sad they are like oh well sorry you are sad. To my friends who have been there you are amazing and I love and appreciate everything you have done for me. I feel like I am lost alone and frightened and dont know how to find my way back. It's not just the relationship I struggle with, finances, career, my weight, and my mental health have been taking its toll on me. I get comments like oh just smoke weed or just ignore those jerks and it's like those are not solutions for me. Sometimes I give out hugs and try to comfort others when I would love just once for someone to hug me and tell me you know I know life is fucked up but it's ok. You're going to be alright. Sometimes I dont always want to hear this is how you fix it but I know your hurting so here is a hug and when you are ready to fight the demons I'm here. I am not trying to say oh poor me I'm a victim feel bad for me. Not at all. This is just some thoughts and feelings I am going through right now and it helps to have them written down. If you stayed to read this thank you for clicking and reading and letting me share some thoughts. God bless

I don't need a gaming laptop though I like playing a few games like minecraft. If you have any ideas or places to go or even have one yourself you are looking to sell I am very interested. General | Posted 10 years agoIf any one saw the photo I posted of my brother's hunting trip I did take it down. I am a huge animal lover and I love pigs as sweet pets. I mean heck I'm a furry and I do not agree with hunting if done for sport just to kill a creature and I certainly don't agree with killing animals like tigers and sharks for medicine and soup but I think hunting for food and for the benefit of controlling the population of an animal is fine. Wild hogs are destroying the southern US and have been known to attack humans and other animals and can kill them as well. There are so many and no where close to the endangered list. The photo was not meant to offend anyone. I was just proud of my brother and I didn't know if it was to graphic or not for the site as there was a tiny bit of blood. So as to not cause drama or people to get upset I took the photo down.
what is it with my luck getting crappy roommates?
General | Posted 10 years agoI am a very low low drama, quiet fur living with inconsiderate roommates who like to stress me out. I get a text from one that is a we need to talk. I'm like everything alright? They said yes but have me stressing because no matter what they won't tell me what it's about. I work 2 jobs and I work late on those days I work both. Plus right now I am battling a cold. This little corgi needs her roommates to chill out and stop being like that. I know I have my own flaws but I am trying to work on myself. When all I want to do is cry all the time at home because of them there is something not right. Maybe it's just how I am viewing it right now. Oh well. If people have advice for me I would love to see what people think. Or if next year you are going to need a new roomie it's just me and a couple of guinea pigs oh and a beta fish. Hehe. I would like to stay in the Dallas fort Worth area if possible but may consider travelling somewhere to if I can find a job in that area.

I want to use the song to inspire a drawing of whatever character you have chosen. I think it would be fun and give me some neat ideas. I will do just a drawing or I can do a badge as well. Traditional drawings, writing stories about your characters, doing digital drawings, anything I do with my sculpey or other arts and crafts. 200$ is all it would be. Yep That's it. I have run into a bit of money troubles and decided to offer out my services to anyone who wants it. I have vet records if anyone wants proof my little girl has been sick. I only need a tiny bit more for her meds. Plus we need groceries in the house.

General | Posted 10 years agoSo I have found a large abscess on my baby girl Clover my guinea pig. I just now noticed it under her chin and in just the last few days. It doesn't seem to hurt her but I know it needs to be taken care of very quickly so it doesn't get worse. If you are able to help in any way I know Clover would be most grateful. I will be happy to share any vet documents I get and updates as I get them. Because she is an exotic it's going to be a bit more expensive.

General | Posted 10 years agoI will be doing 1 dollar drawings for a while just so I can get a little bit of money to eat. living pay check to pay check is hard especially only getting paid every 2 weeks. I'm doing 1 dollar black and white and color drawings as well as 1 dollar creative drawings. Creative drawings are you giving me two creatures mythical or not and I will draw you what I would think they would look like put together. Or maybe you want some random creature. General | Posted 10 years agoBut it is with a heavy heart that I wanted to let you know that my baby Yoshi passed away last night. He was a sweet little guy and very sick. I still don't know what was wrong though. Thank you guys for all the help. It seemed like he was getting better but just didn't have any fight left. :(
Help with my Chameleon. ( Not asking for money just advice)
General | Posted 10 years agoI have a just over a year old male veiled chameleon and he has refused all of his favorite foods for two weeks now. He is getting weaker. I mist the cage and he drinks like crazy so I don't believe he is dehydrated. I also dust the crickets and roaches and I have a uvb bulb it might be a bad bulb but I'm worried about him. We did just move recently but I moved him to a quieter place and he still isn't snapping out of it. It is not MBD. ( metabolic bone disease). Poor baby has got me worried and I don't have the money to take him to a reptile vet. They are crazy expensive and I am afraid they are going to charge me outrageous fees and then he passes away the next day from the stress.

Being a straight ally is tough
General | Posted 10 years agoYes I'm a Christian, yes I'm a furry and yes I am straight. Guess what I am an ally for same sex couples. Being a furry straight ally has made things hard for me because half my family doesn't agree with anything I do pretty much and now I have to hear my sister in law bitch as well as my dad's side of the family complain about the ruling that was made in the United States for Gay marriage rights. My sister in law started talking about now it was going to lead to things like incest being ok and what was coming next and pretty much we are totally doomed now. Same sex couples shouldn't be allowed to raise kids and blah blah blah. Then what really hurt and makes me want to cry is what she said to her 9 YEAR OLD daughter. I'm sorry I have to raise you in this world. I wanted to punch her for that. I don't know why it pissed me off so much but I just have to keep my mouth shut or I will pretty much be disowned by my dad's side. Oh well I can't help how I feel and it doesn't matter to me who you love or what you like I am still going to love you. It is not my place to judge and turn my back on a person because of who or what they are. There are lots of people saying Christians hate gays and other things like that and you know I just want all the same gender couples know there is at least one Straight Christian female that doesn't hate but wants to love. There are many other straight allies at my work too.
