I did said in the past that I wanted to make pictures to promote stuff on my profile, giving birth to my "Ad'Foroth" concept in the past...
But since how time is short before the end of this Kickstarter, I decided I may had to skip that part to be sure to give the project the attention he can have....

"The Werewolf Prince" is an online Comic written and illustrated by Noah Weldon (aka  SorbetMystery on Furaffinity) , which tell a "Monster of the Week" investigation-like story, starring actual monsters!!

Specifically, the leads are an Homosexual couple of male Werewolves!!!
And one of them, Leon, only RECENTLY discovered that he is a Werewolf!!!!


To quote the author :


"It is a silly and sincere story born from my love of monster hunter TV shows, superhero comics, survival horror video games, gothic literature, campy films, seinen manga, 90's animation, shonen anime, and homoerotic art throughout history. ( if I may ad even a drop into this, the author did mention to me that the World of Darkness TTRPGs ( WoD for short), were among the inspirations)

And, to make a confession,"The Werewolf Prince" and SorbetMystery did inspired me to start writting my own Urban Fantasy project!!!

So I felt it was fair to me to help him raise found for his Kickstarter!!!!

Hello there everyone !!!
Here I am, doing my usual « End of the Year Journal » to close off 2025…

But this time, I felt that I needed to go a lil deeper on my mental state for the past 2 years or so…
I haven’t posted much for some times and I think I could maybe share a little more with you on the reasons for this…

It kinda started back in the later half of 2022, where I was contacted by the partner of a Youtuber ; I was contacted to draw designs for T-shirts to be used on their online shop…
Before anyone could ask, I’ll reassure you : YES ! I was paid for all of this ; paid well and on time.
And I am/was on good terms with those people by the end.

It’s just that the all project took WAY WAAAY longer than planned… to the point that it took MONTHS to finish all of them…
And in the end, those designs were never used.
I suppose it wasn’t too bad, since -Again- I was paid for my work and do not put any blame on my contractor!!!

Nonono… The issue came more about how the all project took a lot out of me (mentally and physically) and interrupted ALL other works that I was doing during that time !!! (Commissions or otherwise)…
I felt like I had let down my other clients and people around me…
Plus, going back to works you left unfinished MONTHS ago was really hard, stucking me in some sort of « creative stress muck », killing my work flow and my confidence...

Some of my watchers may recall me having some « Low Energy issues » back in 2023-2024 ? this was pretty much why….

The all situation wasn’t helped by quite the streak of bad luck and Real world issues (Got sick all summer 2024, the moving to a new home with my familly in the end of 2024 ; just to mention a few)

And then, around March 2025… After failing to complete a gift drawing for my sister, I kinda « Snapped » …
Not sure what to call it… « Burnout » … « Nervous breakdown » …
Whatever… it was bad…


It took me months before I dared to use a pen to doodle anything and today I am still feeling quite stressed and bummed down in general…
I needed to take a break and see a therapist and only recently, I am starting to get better…

I started doing research/ writing for personal projects of mine (I might share some online when I feel ready) ;

I am taking more care of my physical health ;

I even started an herbarium, if just to make my own references for when I draw plants…

I certainly hope I didn’t worry you or bummed down the End of the year mood with all of this…
It is something I felt I needed to unpack to all of you, even just for transparency’s sake…

I feel like I took many steps forward to put myself together ; Not just to get back to art but also to have a healthier life in general…
And I certainly hope to actually MEAN all of this, THIS TIME around…

Even if my first new projects may be fan-arts or simple stuffs, I am still planning drawing once again…
Who knows what could be next ?

Getting back to painting miniatures ?

Re-opening commissions ?
Not sure about the « when » though… I personally hope to do so by Summer of 2026, maybe before if I can…
Plus, I’ll probably have to revise my pricing and the way I handle them before that…
I suppose I will announce it when the time comes…

Until then, I think all is left to say is to thank the people who are still watching/ supporting me even after this unvolontary haitus on my part.
I hope to see you all in 2026 and that this year will finally be my time to shine…

It became a tradition for me to end the Year off with some sort of statement/summary in the form of a Journal before it end, followed by my Intentions/ Wishes for the Year to come...


In that last regard, I was quite Ambitious for what I wanted 2024 to be....

From wanting to get back into Wargaming To become Gamemaster/DM for my Friend group's TTRPG Table....

But overall, I wanted to be more productive with my art and being more Active both IRL and Online....

Yeah... 2024 wasn't a great Year for me to be honest.....


That "Big Project" from Last Year ended up completly screwing up my working flow, slowing it down to a crawl I am still stuck in!!

Then, I ended up being ABSOLUTELY SICK all Summer and beyond!!!

( like seriously, I still cought and having a soar throat In december!!!)

And All November and Early December were completely taken by me and my familly moving all together to a new House...


So overall, not really what I was hoping for 2024 to be honest...

I feel quite bad about how little I ended up accomplishing art-wise this year....

Again, I need to apologise for the people that are STILL WAITING for their Commissions from me and in general, to all the people that are still waiting to commission me something....


But in retrospect, I suppose It may not even be the worst year I ever hard, all things considered...

I did start reading books again (may even found some new sources of inspirations for the future)

And I started to improve my mental health more than before...

Plus, it may be true that it wasn't easy at first to move to a new home with my mother, my sister and her friends but it will most likely be for the better in the long term; You know, actually OWNING our own house rather than paying rent....

I think my own mother putted it best like this:


"2024 has just... Not been what we expected it to be; In both a Bad but also Good way..."


I guess it just happend to have been a little more Bad for me that the rest of my familly... But it wasn't ALL bad!!

Plus, From what I have heard, Moving to completely new place like that is the best way shake up your habits, see what to keep or not ( both for your material possessions but also about your priorities and your schedule) and Restart fresher!!!

It could really do me some good I believe!!!

And maybe I can accomplish in 2025 what I couldn't do in 2024!!

I mean there is still a few details to settle and a few boxes to sort but I feel like I can finally get back on my feet soon enough* !!!

See, I am looking for Official WotC publications to get in my library before the "One D&D" 5.5 Version drops at the end of the year...

They have been Many books ( and not all of them are localized in my Native Language, French) and I have an hard time to sort which ones would be worth while for me to have, both as a Player but also as a GM/DM , as I hope to be master my own games/campaigns someday in the future....

Off course, I am aware of 3rd Party Creators making their own compatible work/books but I am looking at the Official WotC stuff first because looking at ALL the 3rd Party stuff would be an other league of an Undertaking... ^^"""
Seem safer to look at the Official stuff first and only THEN looking at what 3rd Parties has to offer that cover ground not covered by the Official Publications, add interesting things and/or are just fun on their own...
