Happy April everyone! I am thrilled to report that after my brief out-of-office period and some short business obligations in March and early April here, I am reinvigorated and excited to dive back into work tenfold!! ✨
After the overhaul to my work hours this time last year, my work is expected to return to normal routine by the summer. Between the schedule restructuring as well as my Iron Artist marathon from December through January, I am on track to eradicating the work delays entirely!
For those who are unaware: Due to an ongoing backlog, I had overhauled my work schedule - reducing email hours to prioritize art hours to efficiently clear my queue (which would by proxy, reduce the email delays). While this unfortunately sacrificed the timeliness of my emails, it was a necessary measure to meaningfully work towards clearing backlogs at the time. Thanks to this, I expect to return to normal operations this summer while also continuing to reduce project turnaround times from the current ETA.
📧 CORRESPONDENCES
Email correspondences will progressively improve and return to their typical 1 - 2 business day response window. Exceptions apply for out of office periods and holidays.
🎨 PENDING WORK
Project turnarounds ETAs are expected to reduce in late May or June. Note: Project ETAs may still be subject to additional required time depending on order quantity, queue, and the complexity of the artwork itself.
More than anything, I want to thank my clients for their patience, understanding, and flexibility with me as I tackled my backlog. I understand that my schedule overhaul posed a great detriment to my inbox, which was rightfully frustrating for many who may have also felt that my monthly Discord and Telegram updates were insufficient. Thank you all for permitting me the time to address and correct these issues over the past year so I may continue to improve the timeliness and quality of my work

January is here and my December Iron Artist has come to a close! I am extending my Iron Artist work hours for an additional week as I've a number of backlog pieces that are near complete and would like to see finished and finally sent out. As I'd utilized most of my December hours for drawing, my inbox predictably got a bit backed up. I've a hefty stack of responses for finished art and WIP feedback to reply to, and [if applicable] make changes, corrections, or post the finished artwork for. I've also a few check-ins to send out the latest WIPs for, as well as client-end updates and/or reference material for pending projects to add to my project notes. I will be dedicating time to get these addressed, however in order to further reduce my backlog I must maintain a strict schedule dedicated to illustrating and completing the actual artwork itself.
PENDING FEEDBACK
I have not had the opportunity to respond to feedback from clients whose artwork is still under the Pending Client Feedback section of my Trello. I will be working on getting these answered and will send out follow-up emails to those I haven't yet heard from.
COMMISSION OPENING
As a sizeable chunk of my backlog was completed in December, I will be hosting a small commission opening on January 7 at 1PM MST. This will be a 48-hour opening with my order form closing on January 9 at 1PM MST. Full commission information is available on my website here.

I am happy to state my backlog is making terrific progress and I am entering 2026 with clear focus. Thank you to everyone who has been patient with me throughout 2025! I am working tirelessly to get my workflow back in balance and will continue to do my utmost to provide you all with the best work I can!

Just quickly adding an additional reminder via Journal that I am doing a personal [colloquially titled] Iron Artist for the entirety of December in an effort to improve my delivery time for commissions and emails. As I've maximized my available work hours for commission work, emails will be slow to go out. Thank you for your patience as I work to further reduce my backlog!

I nearly forgot to make this post as I went Right Into It on the first of December. I wanted to specifically make this post to keep people [especially my clients] informed on the going-on behind the scenes and that I haven't just outright up and disappeared. I will be doing personal pieces in between for breathers / pacing, but otherwise I will be largely AFK across social media still until my backlog is largely, if not entirely, cleared.
