I recently started a video project with  Blizzard_wuffy, we're going to be recording ourselves playing the most ridiculous videogames we can find! We already have a few episodes up and we don't plan on stopping anytime soon, all we need from YOU guys is any support you can! I've been through a LOT of shit over the past year and a half. For a short while, I really felt alone and never had anyone to turn to. But then, you guys came along. Because of you, I'm feeling happy again. For once, I know I'll always have an ear to talk to or a shoulder to cry on. Hey all!

I know I've been incredibly quiet over the past few months. I'm still alive, I've just been very busy! A few major things have happened, so I figured Id write a journal to give you guys an idea :)

First off, I'm moving to DeKalb, Illinois tomorrow morning. KodyPup is bringing his trailer up tonight and we're loadin it up and taking off around noon. I'm moving into a boarding house on Northern Illinois University where BlizzardWuffy and KaiFox already live. Thanks to each and every one of you that came to my going away party, it really truly meant a lot. <3

My mother is doing slightly better, her cancers progression has cut down drastically in speed and she's coughing a lot less. She's back to work 3 days a week and can keep all of her health and life benefits. Overall she's been much happier and seems to be enjoying life a lot more!

For conventions, I'll definitely be at MFF! The next and probably last big con for a while will be FC, after that I don't know how much time off I'll get through work. I'll be trying to go to as many as possible though! :3

That's kinda it for now, if I haven't been very responsive don't take it personally!! I'll be back to my normal amount of crazy raccoon shortly, thank you guys for being patient with me <3

Mom has been doing okay the past month or so. Chemotherapy started three weeks ago, her second treatment was last Tuesday. Her cough has been coming and going, but she can breath better when laying on her left side whereas before she couldn't at all. This is the cycle where she's also going to lose her hair. It sounds like treatment is working, she's having a CAT scan this Thursday to see how things are doing. There have been a few rough days where she could hardly walk, but all and all things have been going relatively well.

Seriously guys, thank you so much for all the support we've gotten over the past month. It really has meant a lot and helped me through the initial shock. You guys are amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better community of friends <3

So I've been tossing around the idea of a second fursona that would be fursuit only. I think I'd want him to be either a sheppy/Berniese mountain dog, maybe with a bit of attitude/very vocal? Any thoughts or ideas?

So my mother has had this recurring cough for the past few months. She has been undergoing occasional tests to try and figure out what might have been causing her to cough, and originally the diagnosis was the common cold. Eventually that turned into pneumonia, which she had come down with a few weeks ago. After a week of antibiotics, there was a recurrence of pneumonia again, so they did a chest x-ray to see if it had come back. They ended up finding a large lump in her lower left lobe as well as tons of spots all over both of her lungs. She was then sent to the University of Michigan to have extensive studies done.

As of 2 PM today, she is diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.

For those who don't know, stage 4 is to the point of being in both lungs, and has the capability to spread most commonly to the liver, spinal cord, and brain. Treatment is available to her, which she will be starting in a few weeks.

It's still kind of sinking in, and I'm at a total loss for words. She had no history of smoking and there is no family history of lung cancer whatsoever. This just came randomly out of the blue and took everyone by surprise...

So, got a call from my uncle last week.

He's the manager of a small office supplies warehouse that's about 10 minutes from my house. One of his coworkers left for college, so he offered me a position to fill the role. After a short interview with the district manager, they were happy the results and hired me in as part time. It's only 20 hours per week, but it's a lot better than the 0 hours I've been getting for the past 19 years.

I'll be working there for the next who knows long, but hopefully I'll get hired for full time after a few months ^^.

I'd like your feedback, be brutally honest so we can improve!
