Just thought I might make a journal here to introduce myself since I don't post here as often as Twitter and other places.

Have some general information about me:

I graduated in May 2018 with a BFA in Illustration.
I tend to focus on digital artwork, but I also have experience with photography, animation, and painting.

Long ago, I found the fandom through art on DeviantArt. Though, I never officially joined the fandom until about 3 years ago during my sophomore year of college.
The furry community has changed my life for the better and I don't ever see myself leaving it!

I've had my main fursona Evaa for about 4 or 5 years now. She has changed quite a bit over time. My fursuit was finished in April of 2018, and it's my first one I've actually owned.

I am open to meeting new people but please do not message me privately just saying "Hi", I keep my PMs mostly for questions and commissions. So if you want to talk casually just try and meet me in a common chatroom or something.

At the moment I am working on clearing my commission queue, and will open for commissions when I can. So please watch my Twitter @/itsgerce for information on that. Please don't message me privately asking about it.

Hey guys!! Its been quite some time since I've posted anything here I know, sorry! Just wanted you all to know that FA will now be the main place that I post all my work for now. DeviantArt doesn't do much for me anymore, and I have more luck here!

I wanted to talk a bit about my thoughts for the future as a freelance artist, and what I'm doing in school at the moment.
So, right now I'm headed towards the end of my junior year in college. This means my senior year is fast approaching and I will have to dedicate more of my time towards my senior thesis project where I have to work endlessly for months with the end project of a gallery based around whatever I decided to focus on.
What I'm trying to say is that I will have limited time to work on things like freelance work, though I can't say how much or how little time exactly. Though I still plan on going to cons and etc. as much as I can.

Right now though I have some commission ideas that I wanted to put out there to see if anyone would be interested, or if you all would like to just see me working on these things! I love animating and I haven't gotten to do much of it recently, but I want to dabble more in that and make it something that I could turn into commission work, anywhere from short animation ych's or blinky icons, sprites, etc. Also, I will work on my product to sell at cons! Which I would like to ask if I did some really amazing YCH's if you would allow me to sell the prints? Not your character(s) of course! I know some artists do this, like with the custom daki's that they then sold, this is also another thing I'd like to do!
I know I want to do some custom t-shirts or just fashion in general for people's sona's kinda of like the custom varsity jackets I've seen around, but I don't know what clothing type I should do yet, let me know what you guys think?

These are most of my ideas for now, just lots of upcoming things that I'm sort of forced to wait on. Any ideas you guys have in particular I'd be more than willing to hear! Don't be afraid to ask me!

I dunno why I didn't post this here first, but I posted it on twitter a couple days ago.

Here is a copy/paste of what I have been thinking about and what opinions on.

My idea for Experimental Commissions

So the reason for these is that I don't do enough art that is not focused on the character,
or at least isn't just like the stereotypical character just posing for the shot type-thing.
What I wanna do (after I finish the commissions I have now) is offer different types of options
for these experimental commissions where I can do whatever I want with the piece, but use your character(s)
as the subject. Or even maybe I don't have to use your character if you'd prefer (focusing on a --
non-subjective image). Below is an example of my price ideas.

Experimental commissions focusing on:

Traditional Busts/Headshot - $45
Digital Busts/Headshot - $30

Traditional Fullbody - $80
Digital Fullbody - $60

+ Background - $10
+ Character (more than one) - $10
+ Strategic Glitter - $5

TRADITIONAL WORKS GET MAILED if you want.

If you choose traditional you'd get the option of suggesting to me what media/mediums I use for the piece,
such as Ink, Watercolor, Prisma Markers, Oil+Turpentine Painting, or even a mix of these.

So yeah I wanna do these because my professor, David Michael Beck (please google his work its amazing), has
inspired me to really get into my own style and draw what I love and what I'm interested in, and I also am
just tired of doign the same things over and over and I know by doing this it won't only be fun for you guys,
but for me as well and I'll also grow more as an artist.
