A heads up to everyone who's commissioned us this month, we'll be taking the week of Halloween off from working on orders so that we can focus on other Halloween projects and have some fun. We will resume the following week, and we apologize to anyone who put in an order for a Halloween-themed commission that it will not be ready by Halloween ^^;

In lighter news, we will be opening for pre-orders for the November and December rounds this Sunday, October 26 around 12 noon eastern. We will do three rounds to cover both months, so there will be plenty of slots

Changes to commissions starting now:

For shading and highlighting, there will be an additional cost of $20. Commissions without shading and highlighting will be giving a simple gradient instead.

The maximum number of additional characters in a pic is now up to 3. The cost of each additional character is still $25.

I figure I could do YCH pics on the side to earn a little extra spending money. I'll be starting off small, but more options for this will become available over time

I know most YCH artists make a base, and then other artists purchase a copy of it to trace over, but that's how I would like to do it. Instead, I'd gladly draw your OC with one of mine for a small price. Slots are unlimited, meaning poses will be the same. There is no closing time or date, so free feel to order one anytime you wish.

The price will be just $30. Just comment with a link to your character under designated YCH base pics. Each base pic with have a PayPal code, so I'll know which of my characters is being requested. Private message me your email so that after completion, I'll email the pic with your OC and mine to you.

Thank you to everyone who has given me their condolences this week, and to those who have spent time with me. I feel much happier now, and I'm ready to continue living -- as in being active and interactive with others. The world will feel different, but God has blessed me with so many wonderful people near and far.

My father died this morning in his sleep. Born on October 16, 1944, he lived for 80 years — something he never expected to do. He will be loved for far longer.

My mom is arranging for a celebration of his life instead of a funeral after his cremation. It’s what he wanted.

At least he is no longer in pain, and he is with his parents, his bother (my uncle Carey) and our two miniature poodles Bill and Ted.

I thank you all just for being here and offer ring your condolences, which I greatly accepted and appreciate.

Last week, I had a run in with a person who (at the time, I didn't realize it) turned out to be a spam/bot. What started out as a simple request to use one of my art pieces as a pose reference turned into my losing more than $1700 from my savings account. Also, one of my customers from the previous commission round turned out to be a spam/bot as well, and I was served with a chargeback that lost me even more money.

The purpose of the temporary price increase is to help me make up for what I had lost at a time in my life when I'm emotionally vulnerable. Long story short, my dad is dying. There's nothing we can do about it. I haven't been asked or told that I need to pay for anything, but it still hurts.

After the April and May rounds are completed, prices will return to their $50 default amount. I'm not asking for pity. Just some understanding and maybe, if you can afford it, some help. Thank you.
