ok so i thought about this for a while now. With the birth of the internet and the growth of films, storys, and plays...is it easy say that its hard to make original ideas now?

Entertainment and Story media has grown sooooo large that many thing have been done. Entire team of writers go in to making these projects. And then there's the internet, where you have millions of people animating, writing, and drawing things that its now hard to come up with an idea or story that hasn't been done before.

Lets talk about what an originality is. Its when an idea is used so rarely or even never before that it seems new and refreshing. I got to thinking on how to make an original story and unfortunately i kept bumping in to walls of other peoples ideas some what ruining the idea.

You can argue that there are still original ideas out there and there always will be. But stories tend to fall in to cliche and categories now cause there are so many stories out in the world. Not only that but at times you tend to bump in to ideas that you didn't know existed or remembered. Greck from payment in full is a lot like Bently from Sly Cooper. I hadn't played that game in yeeeeeeeeears and totally forgot, I would have atleast changed him to a different animal if i knew. And as time goes on, more and more ideas are used, and some what taking the flags out of discovering something original.

Some may say that some stories come from a darker side of humans nature or nature it's self. You could say these are original but to me there not that much. Its diving in to an area of emotions people DONT want to see and thus don't tend to want to explore. That being said, you better be really damn good at executing such a story or your going to have a lot of pissed off people.

The other thing i like to address about originality is that some writers have no where to go but...well...up. What i mean when i say that is writers are pushed to the edge of how far they can take an idea and often times, jump over that edge. Thats some what a new area too but to me it just look like the writers were running out of ideas and needed a way to push forward to the next level even though the last level was super huge. You tend find these done in manga's like one piece and naruto and i don't really like it. Sure its cool and all but it just looks like they were running out of ideas to make the characters stronger to the already unnaturally strong villains.

I guess now in this day of age, its about execution more then it is then the ideas now. I mean its always good to have a creative ideas and original moments. But really now they are just the spices to the pot of ideas. Even cliche's like retelling fairy tales and forbidden pets and so on and so forth can be great so long as its execution of the story and ideas, rather then how original it is. So if you see someone say "Its not a very original idea" just tell them "What isn't any more?"

Well this is an update to the shinra doll donation for  dr_deadman

Unfortunately i ran in to a money problem right now. The donation's that are being made will help for sure, but thanks to winter hours and me a week ago getting a new scooter, i'm struggling to gather the money to make the commission my self right now. I do plan on still doing it and i plan on making commissions to help.

After rent and school is over i plan on opening commisions to help get the shinra doll.

Alright i kindof got pissed about this a while back so i thought i'd write it up now. Youtube movies are unfair. Why are they unfair? Cause they are movies that are nearly a decade old or more and you have to pay to watch them. How many times you get to watch them i'm not sure cause i never tried it.

Now you could say that you get quality when you buy it but let me compare youtube to FA. Lets say the FA owner takes something that is really old and has already been posted to watch. Despite not being his he sells it to viewers.As he is doing this, he doesn't want any one else to cut in to his profit and kick every one off who has the same thing before him but free. Thats what youtube does with movies.

Now i'm not saying the creator of FA will ever do that, just using it as an example. I do not support Youtube movies since they take something thats not theirs, sell it, and tell every one else to piss off.

So lately ive been making a lot of journals about sellable comics and items. Thing is that for a while now ive been wanting to broaden my ablities of story telling. It feels like... like im running on a track that never stops. Now you might be saying, GS, why do you wanna charge for your stories and comics? Well 2 reasons. One i need a second source of income. Two i need some self confidence as well. i see all these other talented. artist and writers getting money through there works because there so good at what they do and i feel like i want to be a part of that.

Does that mean there will be less posted work that is free? No of course not. in fact by supporting me by buying comics and writen works it means i will have more finaciel freedom to buy commision work and less worries in real life.

We plan to sell some comic! And by we i mean my friend and co writer  krown and my other good friend and artist  dr_deadman We are still planing and waiting for availability for us to begin. We plan to make a 40-50 page comic worth 30 dollars (if that doesn't seem fair please say so below). Right now we are debating which comic to create. Ether we wish to create a story with an ending first (one whole comic) to help promote our goal or begin a series (several volumes). Both are vore stories and both are in the same universe but both are 2 different stories. Let us know which you think would be better.

Our goals right for the comics are:

2. Advertise and sell
3. Reach 200+ dollars
4. Begin next comic

So i've been around the block for a while and hypocritizem is one thing i can't stand to see anymore. Many people can claim to say i am a hypocrite since i do not like death in vore yet i have used it in my stories and some art. On behave of my defense i like to say that i use death as a suspense or a weapon, not a thing of pure enjoyment. If one does eat another then there has to be a good reason behind it for me, at least in stories. If its in art, then its usually vore to vore but i hardly show death. In fact in all cases if digestion and death does happen i do it in a painless manner, passing out by lack of air more then anything else.

That's enough about me. A lot of people have there guilty pleasures and wish to not like it so much they'd lash out at the item they don't like to like it. That's an inner turmoil which a lot of people have and while it is a little annoy to see them fight themselves, its understandable.

But then they're the one's that lash out at others. For example there was a problem long ago with one person calling my characters that had been fully fleshed out with personalities and history and emotion but considered them Mary Sue's, imperfect (or too perfect to be more precise) characters. At the same time though, the person loves very heavy "perfect" characters, like gods that can't be killed and rule over an entire land with no threat to them.

This to me is an outrage of personal hypocritcizem, where you take something you don't like and insult it verbally to another person while liking something else that is more then what they originally accused of. Its like holding up two cups, one more cracked then the other but saying the more cracked one is better cause it has your favorite picture on it.

I do not listen to people like this. People who hate something and like it at the same time. Because to me, if they can't figure out what is right, why should you listen to them about what is right?

I also should address mary sues as a comment or a criticizem tool is very poor to use. Its a term thrown around so much yet not really used in a proper way. A mary sue is considered to be a characters life so great that its perfect. By saying something is mary sue, your pretty much making an insult by saying you the creator put no real work in to a characters creation. A lot of characters that people use on FA are Mary sues by term but since they have no "purpose" or story to most of them, its not really an insult, it was just created to have fun. But to writers or people who work hard on characters, it means there are many many faults to there work.

So unless you truly know and understand what a mary sue is, please don't use it, just tell them what you feel is wrong. And if you DO think its a mary sue, then please say why since there are so many ways to be a mary sue.

I've been feeling down about my talents and skills level, as though i haven't reached a level that can be profitable. Sounds like i am being greedy but i see so many of my friends able to do great works and able to ask for some commission. I'm hoping this idea might push me forward with renewed confidence.

The story will be about loreit who is seeking a cause in her life. It is some what based on the star of orion series but changed up in some ways. It will be 25 pages long for 3$. Please let me know what you think of this idea.

Obviously i don't have the talent for this. But with hundreds of story ideas, including one i've been working on for oh say 7 years, its a decent question to ask.

So if i were to say some how create a comic book and sell a digital copy online. How many pages and how much would be fair?

Ok time for a real journal...and by that i mean me bitching about stuff that people don't care...so enjoy!
Be true to your self story types are usually stories about people trying to follow there goal and be them selves while doing it till they reach that goal. However in a lot of animal based stories such as balto 2 and wolf children, this setting doesn't really sit well with me.

If you don't know what i'm talking about, these stories tend to focus on people or animals trying to return to the wild after living among humans because they feel its "right". That they belong there. Now while this is a good story idea it usually executed in a poor fashion. Where rather then finding a happy median in which they can explore both lives or slowly merge in to the other, the main character acts completely selfish and just runs off to do it. This just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Why i say the character is selfish is because they give up on the people that love them and want them to be around. It seems really selfish to just run off and leave them unhappy...in fact its very depressing. When entire movies are based on this concept, i can't stand to watch them because you know what they are going to choose in the end, especially when the main character is extremely stubborn.

I need some help...window 8 is blocking anything that is custom made now, including one friends project. Anything that is a .exe file will not open. Any help?

in the future at least. Its one of the rarest things. Most are just full blown smut games though and not very story based or long for that matter. There have been a few projects that have come and gone. And most i have already played. when i tell my friends this most just say "make your own then...", if i could and had the time my whole gallery would be filled with links. I'm hoping theres one out there thats not pokemon based or too heavy on the sex theme but thats asking probably a lot.

I just have to ask that? Every where i look i just see signs on youtube and other places about the Xbox 1 vs. ps4? Why is the xbox 1 even selling? Why are people so cheery that microsoft got rid of payment on used games? It is a good thing don't get me wrong but the fact is they still did it...and there are a lot of other features i think that are still on there that are just awful ideas.

Serously it should be nintendo vs sony...not xbox. As much as people still rip on nintendo, there trying to give the public what they want and aren't trying to screw people over at all. So why is there a sudden switch from hating xbox 1 to Nintendo again?

(also for ps4 lovers, as good as ps4 is be warned. Sony has been doing some pretty shady idea dealings of there own so watch out. it is believed DRM is "optional" for the ps4 so its not confirmed.)

This was happening often a lot so i redownloaded malwarebytes and scanned the computer. It found several bugs and i was able to remove them all. Now avast is catching the website over and over every time i open a new web site. I uninstalled all my web browsers, scaned my computer and restarted it and still nothings happening. Any suggestions?

should also mention that my cookie self destructor that i recently downloaded for fire fox is telling me websites i never visted before are poping up every time i open a new window...i'm assuming thats the redirected sites.

Alright so this popped in to my head about a choose your own adventure type deal. I know there really common right now especially with stank, humbug and dez but i thought i try a written approach.

In this "adventure" you were recently eaten by a pred named Lufa, a fox anthro about 24 years old or so and now you are stuck in her belly. This adventure can have several out comes including whether you live or die. After each set up is complete a series of choices can be made. You could please her, disrupt her life, befriend her or tear her apart if you are well enough with your words. 2 elements come in to play.

Respect level: How much she cares for you. The higher it is the better she will treat you and maybe be even let you live. This one will fluctuate a lot though so be careful.
The neutral ground is 50%, meaning she has no care for you the prey. As bad as that sounds, below 50% means she'll torment you, tease you, or if she really despise you, speed her digestion up. Above 50% means she'll treat you with more respect, make it more comfortable or even slow her digestive system down.

Digestion level: This is a timer system. Her belly fills with acid over time at an average rate of 5% per hour (may change in further production.) Some times what you do in the belly though will speed or slow it down. Ultimately the story will end at 100%

Once digestion reaches 100% she will cast judgement on you and see whether or not you should die.

I'm hoping to make each entry a half a page with voting ending in 4 days and an upload in 7 days if i can. Let me know what you think.

I've been in a bad depressing state for a while due to some things i've been thinking about with online stuff. I've noticed i've been maintaining the commenters on my works and once in a while bring in a few extra but not always constiant. I'm trying to see if there is any way to improve the number of commenters by seeing what people like and what i can do better. For those who do comment frequently i thank you very much.

2 things i already know that i've been trying is to increase the number of works i do my self (been kindof hard since i've been really busy lately) and increasing the number of artist i know. If there any other things tht you the viewer wish to see from me please let me know.

We will be holding a auction for characters to appear in the comic as background characters and minor parts. They will be priced based on how many panels they may appear and have to be anthro creature and will be designed to be spacy. There is a set price how ever you can pay more if you like. We will also offer the winning betters have a chance to pay for the next chance of there character appearing in chapter 4 as well as glimpses of the current chapter in progress. Characters will be cameo and credit will be given during appearance. Here are the choices.
