The theme this time is: Not as glamorous as you hoped. Transformations where the subject was willing to become something else, maybe excited, even, only to find your new form/life isn't all it was cracked up to be. Maybe you wanted to be a farm animal, only to hate the noise, the smells, your body functions, etc make life almost unbearable. Maybe you thought you wanted to be a pet, but the lack of autonomy or the monotony makes it much less glamorous. Maybe you became the anthro of your dreams, but have a hard time fitting in with a world that doesn't fully accept the novelty. Having to live in a new environment might feel too foreign, or even the length of time you have to stay in the form is much longer than you had hoped!

I want to explore those themes across a wide variety of scenarios. It's fun to think about how hot TF is, both during and after the change. But we know that if it were possible in real life, there would be drawbacks that would make it unappealing for most people. Not quite a 'careful what you wish for' theme but a chance to really reflect on what it would be like, the consequences, and such that don't always make it to TF fiction.

A few ground rules. Not looking to write snuff, I think we can all imagine the life of a food animal doesn't have an appealing end, and I'm not interested on reflecting on someone's deathbed. Also, not looking to represent any intentional abusive scenarios. I've watched quite a few videos on animal care, so I have a decent idea of what 'proper' care looks like. But even being, say, among the best kept cows might make a far less than appealing life. Same with zoo animals, I would prefer to assume 'proper' habitation along with animal-centric enrichment and space. I think it goes without saying, but in order for the level of introspection I'm looking for, the subject needs to keep a human mind post-change.

So, I would think you could go a shorter post TF route, focus on the TF itself being uncomfortable as you get used to new body parts, or a mix of the two. Word count will depend on that, but I'm thinking around 7k at most for these. If you have an idea and are interested, shoot me a message, and we can discuss in better detail what I am and am not comfortable with.

Hi All, sorry I've been quiet! It's felt a little hard to advertise with mental health being poor, partly due to winter, partly due to unfortunate happenings in the household, and partly due to *Gestures at the world.* But work has been keeping me busy and sane. I feel pretty comfortable saying I can get 48 stories a year done, one every week, while taking 4 weeks off a year! I've been staying on target for being a month ahead so even if something happens, I can still post things!

Just four more weeks and I'm going on vacation, my annual trip to visit my boyfriend! We'll be at FE as well, but I'll get into that more with the next journal! for now, I have four more stories to post, and they are the following:

Hi all! Back from vacation, it was great!

Just a short one! Working through the next batch of commissions, should have enough to take me through to December! OCTOBER-DECEMBER COMMISSIONS

I've got 6 stories to finish up for this current batch, and they *should* be mostly done by the end of the month! So I'll be opening up for about 10 more to be worked on between October and the beginning of Janurary! Will be making an opening journal on the 22nd, picking on October 3rd, and getting the outlines worked on the week after! Then I'll be going on Vacation for two weeks with the BF! Mostly not working, but I can't help open a Google doc here and there xD

Also, I'll be offering a discounted story theme for this period, based on a 'it's not all cracked up to be', where the protagonist chooses to turn into another form, though it highlights the aspects that are distasteful about staying in it. I'll give more examples when the time comes!

Hi all, sorry this is a little late again! I'm OK, had a couple of days of poor mental health, but I'm good!

Hi all, Sorry for the late update post! Long story short, I ended up taking on a little more than I had intended to for this work period, and while I had finished the planned work from the last month, some stories were intended to be continued right away, and I had taken on a few Patreon rewards that I was not able to get to immediately. Several people had been messaging me for updates, and I had a bit of a mental health episode due to the self-imposed stress. I'm somewhat caught up now, and I think the solution is to update my TOS. Asking people for a bit more patience when messaging, following my work updates, and maybe specifying Patreon reward stuff will be started the next month to give me a chance to work on what's already in front of me. Nothing too bad, and I'm already back on track to have everything done by the end of September as planned!

So, back to what's coming up! On the Patreon side, I've got some short stories that are finished, involving latex plant monsters, rexes, and anthro horses. The big piece I'm working on is 'Clip Clop,' a series of perspectives (all involving raffle winners and their characters) about people using a new app to give themselves hooves for a week. Of course, the changes aren't to stop there, nor the temptation to keep watching the videos on the app, even as they become increasingly lewd... Currently sitting on posting the next section at the end of this month, and will hopefully finish it by the end of August!

I'm currently working on twelve commissions, getting the outlines done and ready. Lots of fun ideas there, and i'm not quite done them all but they should be ready soon!

So, I've been working on a number of commissions all at once, and I have a set amount I've been wanting to work on each week. However, there has been an increased interest in my work as of late, and I've been juggling ongoing stories and new commissions, and a variety of other tasks. I have taken on more work than I am comfortable with for the July-September period, partially this is due to having a hard time turning people away, or hoping I'll eventually be able to catch up.

At this point, multiple people have been asking me when their work will start/finish, and I've been juggling things around and rearranging the order to try and accommodate everyone. However, so many people have requested this that I am having a mental health crisis about not being able to meet everyone's demands of me. I am unsure what the fairest way to handle this situation is, since it does not seem like I am meeting everyone's expectations. So I am willing to renegotiate current projects to either cancel/refund if needed, or delay to the end of the queue if possible, to get other work done. I would also ask people to refrain from further asking me when I will get started once I have spoken to you, as this is starting to become rather stressful and is hindering my ability to write. Hi all, I've got quite a bit coming down the pipeline!

I'm OPENING FOR COMMISSIONS next week for my July-September work period. Prices will remain USD $30/1000 words for this opening, and anyone who submits who I don't take on now, but will take on in the future. I'll be adding 10000s a month till it's done, and it will shift perspective between the four characters!

Hi all, sorry its a little late, I'm getting over post con crud that turned into likely covid! I'm on the mend now!

FE was pretty good!

I roomed with  Epileptic-Dog in the middle of our vacation. We got a room in the Westin, though he wasn't able to figure out what he could bring his suit in for the plane. Thursday was mostly resting since we had been partying hardy the past few nights, we survived the reg line and ordered in burgers. Friday I was able to debut the suit for the first time, and it went super well! fits well, the under armor did its job, and I stayed for about an hour and a half in it! People yelling 'Horse'! 'HONSE! or 'Hoss!' made me feel really good, and I can't wait till next time so we can be horse boyfriends! Ran into some old friends from Sudbury ( neko-fishy and  Ballantine) but we weren't able to set a meet up, sadly. Ending up trying the sports bar down the street for the first time and really liked it!

Saturday my big priority was the TF Tuesday Podcast recording, and it didn't disappoint!  Zil and  K-Libra put on quite the show, ending with them swapping shirts and personality! These live recordings are wild! Jason and I ended up doing ferkin that night, and chatted with our suit makers for a good while in the dealer's den. Didn't think I could manage between the fursuit parade and the panel but hoping I can do the walk next year!

Sunday was the big day, managed to get in suit for the TF meet and greet, stayed in for about three hours and discovered that's my limit! Got to chat with  FoxLightning - TF Specialist,  ForeBucks,  Taya Erindra, and of course,  TigerTwins and  dorintf (wouldn't be a con if we didn't have a big chat and get drunk at least once! Which we did later that night with a ton of other TF furs!) Met a ton of other great tf furs as well, sorry if I didn't get your names or FA handles! Even with the late Sunday night alarm it was great to meet up for good chats and hugs!

Overall, the con was a vast improvement on last year, the elevators were a little better (Low bar) times for the panels I wanted to visit were more convenient, lines were a little more organized, and the hotel staff were more helpful as well. I had a really bad time at the end, an elevator was down while people were checking out and it was an over two hour wait to get to the lobby (had a bad mental health episode sadly) but that was past the con and I made it out eventually! Looking forward to next year, when hopefully my BF and I can be horse boyfriends in suit!

Hi all, I'll be a Furnal Equinox this year, at the main hotel! I plan to be there from Tomorrow to Monday morning, and hoping to break out the new fursuit for some much anticipated suiting! Hey all! Short update this month!

I'll be leaving on the 15th for a vacation with  Epileptic-Dog and we'll be spending two weeks together! We'll be at FE with our fullsuits as well, feel free to say hi if you're there and see us!

I have a few stories ready to post before i leave, but I'll be taking a posting break the last two Fridays this month (Probably)

For FA and my other platforms, I have two stories in the universe of 'Every dog has his day," both forced on a woman changing to a tiger and the subsequent aftermath.

For Patreon, I'll be finishing up the story "Not all it's dogged up to be," following a man deciding to be his best friend's new best friend, only to find out he didn't think things through. I'll also be posting two commissions, one involving a virus changing people into various anthros (With Sexy results!) And...another dog story? Is it canine March? I'm only just realizing I made a canine March!

I'm still taking commission requests for the next week before I pick the ones for my April-June batch. Hopefully I can get most of them outlined before I leave, and since I'll have some time to pick away at them during transit. Otherwise, I think that's it!
