Whew it's finally done... two months overdue lol


Some positives first then:

All in all, I really enjoyed getting to write a variety of themes, settings, characters, and styles again as I have done in previous years. This year especially with how I more critically vetted the slot process, I didn't really think that I had to force myself to write with any prompt that I didn't enjoy myself to some degree. Time-wise, the past few months have been busy, and I kind of knew that when opening up these slots. Though, writing feels like a considerably more time consuming process compared to how much time I spend drawing, so I do feel like I should charge more for my writing. Let me know if any of you have any thoughts in DMs or in the comments below.

Also, (and it's not really that big of a problem) I find that I do go overboard on the exposition sometimes, and with a word-limited format like these stories, it eats up the word count that could otherwise be occupied by hypno scenes.

All in all I hope everyone was able to at least enjoy the stories I put out for this event! I'd gladly appreciate any feedback and I'm always look out for more ways to improve various aspects of my writing.


As for updates and future plans:

Story commissions are still going to be closed for the time being. The  EntrancingAwards are coming up so I need to start working on that in the coming weeks. I already have a story outline figured out for that so be on the lookout when I post it in March :3.

After that, I have the final chapter to write for Trial and Error which will tie up any loose ends still floating around regarding what I've established so far with the brainslug hivemind world :3.

Hey y'all!

2025 has been quite the rollercoaster of emotions. In terms of my stuff here, I feel like I've improved quite a bit and my YCHs have overall been pretty successful! The year's about to close off. I have a few updates:

- Writing comms are closed indefinitely as I continue working on Hypnovember stories. As it stands, I'm hoping to have everything finished before January so stay tuned if I've already contacted you!

- Art commissions are still open, but I will be away from home from December 12th to December 24th, which means any commissions I take on during that time period will be started after I come back.

Also I'm scarily close to reaching 2k watchers. Holy hell. I DO also have a bluesky account if any of you weren't aware of yet:

Happy Holidays. Hopefully y'all found the stories this year to be entertaining at least. I had been surprised that all the slots managed to get sold so thank you everyone who commissioned or wanted to get a commission!

As for the writing process, it was definitely a squeeze this year given how busy it's been for me irl, but I'm glad I was able to get it all out.

Feeling really hopeless

Welp. Internet has been down for the past two days so haven't really had the incentive to make this post. Still, a lot of y'all have been proactive.

I got two technically complicated ideas that I'm trying to find someone to make. First is my regular sona, gotecon, which shouldn't be hard to do in theory, except for the fact that I want a removable hat as well as glasses. :P


Anyways, it strikes to me that no one's ever made a Fallout cyberdog head before....

One of the lessons I learned from this year's FWA is my distinct lack of lack of social media links that I could direct people to.

I hope everyone is doing well. Haven't posted one of these in a bit so here's a bit of a status update.

For the past year and a half or so, I've been consistently drawing at least one shades piece a day. As such, I'm in constant need of fresh ideas to work with. My art commissions are always open but I'm also happy to chitchat and shoot ideas around in dms

As for story commissions, things have finally slowed down enough on my end where I can finally focus on writing. I'm working on a personal project at the moment, but as soon as that's finished (hopefully before the end of March) I'll be opening story comms. In the meantime, I'm happy to receive story ideas and form a queue. Please DM me with your prompt and I'll be happy to go over it with you.

Once again, I've completed a decently sized batch of stories throughout the month of October and the first few weeks of November. Overall, I greatly enjoy writing but to be completely honest, I got pretty close to being burned out due the combination of writing these stories, and various school/work related projects.

Next year, I'll be a little more available and have a lot more free time to focus on these stories! As for the prompts, I'd like some feedback over the overall selection of prompts. I'm aware other people use tvarious other lists, and I might do that myself.
